Exactly. I used to be that girl who could eat and eat and never gain weight. Kelli would have loved me at 18. Now, not so much, but it took decades for me to start gaining weight, even after two kids. But I would still want the tips for healthy, clean eating.

The group right above your post. I believe that’s Tess in front and Gina on the right (my right). She’s in the back row on the left side (my left). Whoever is on the end messed up on that routine though. She was late on one of the moves and seemed to fall out of the turn (not a dancer so...)

At the end of last season, Kelli states that Ashlee has improved every week in TC. Also, she and Judy stated how much sex appeal she has. She’s in the show intro also. She is a rock star in my opinion and I expect to see her in the triangle (hopefully) next year or at least where Jacie as the point in the diamond. It’s funny but at the beginning of last season, my favs were Brennan and Briana. But as the season wore on, even though I still loved both of them, Ashlee became my favorite. This year, my favorite started out as Kat, but three episodes in and I am loving Amanda. She has become my new favorite. It doesn’t hurt that I LOVE Face Off so it’s nice seeing her talk. I’m used to seeing her as some alien or something. And when I first saw Amanda, I thought the same thing as another poster that she looks like Victoria’s prettier sister. It’s the shape of the face, I think. But now, her look stands out on it’s own. I think she’s gorgeous. I LOVE Amanda.

Well when confronted, she did tell K&J that she was at the club with Jenna, so ...

Forgot to mention this. I was meh on Amanda the last two episodes. She seemed fine, didn’t hate her, was rooting for her basically. But after yesterday’s solo clip and her talking head, I’m all for her! She seemed to have just the right amount of sass and sexy (as someone mentioned earlier). As far as Kat, it does seem as if they are trying their best to shove her down our throats so maybe we won’t hate VK so much. But I’m still in her corner. I think once she started her solo, it may have gotten better (the parts we didn’t see) and I don’t remember too much of her on the field so ... But her looks definitely helped her get into TC. I’m not mad at VK as much as I’m just damn sick of seeing her on every promo, every talking head, the high-fives. But I was really pissed when they seemed to show us MOST of her solo (I guess to prove how wonderful she is). I’m not a trained dancer so I don’t know if her extensions were good or whatnot, but what I DO know is that when I said I wanted to see more solos, I put an S at the end, meaning I wanted to see solos, not just hers! And Maddie’s. I like Maddie, but yeah, same solo basically with the same costume. I’m over it.

I remember my first cheerleader tryouts we had to make up a cheer. I spent that weekend preparing this (too damn long) cheer and promptly forgot all of the moves the moment I got on the floor. But since they didn’t know that, I just smiled, said the cheer and danced my butt off and made it. So on that note, I felt for Kat. Been there.

I knew about the DCC before I ever actually started watching the game (from the 70’s - Love Boat, all that). Anyway, I didn’t start watching the game until my freshman year of high school. And I actually liked both the Redskins and Cowboys. Well you can imagine that didn’t go over well. Talk about blasphemous! I only liked the Cowboys because of DCC. What can I say, I was such a newbie. But alas, I had to choose and of course, Redskins won! Now of course, as a seasoned football and Redskins fan, I can never root for the Cowboys!

So they think it was what, funny, that VK fell out of her turn AGAIN? And she’s on SG, where they are often on smaller stages, where the girls are close together, where the stages are sometimes smaller with a lot of other things going on such as band members and whatnot. So they are comfortable that she’s not going to bump into another cheerleader on a small stage or a band member or something? They are comfortable that she is not going to twirl herself straight off the stage? Or that she won’t bump into someone else and knock them off the stage? And I’m not even trying to be funny. The way she fell out of that turn, traveled a foot or two and took out the poms, if that had been the edge of the stage, she would have fallen off the stage. That’s dangerous to both herself and other people around her. I remember being a football cheerleader and having to watch out when the play on the field is close. I remember seeing cheerleaders being mowed down on the sidelines. The sidelines are not that big. Granted this was high school so I don’t know if pro field are bigger on the sidelines, but it is still not that big. If she’s in the back row and the play is close by, the players and others may have to watch out for VK.

LOL! This all day! I had the exact same reaction. She’s just a very pretty light skinned girl.

I think Judy likes having Charm LaDonna there. Another choreographer who seems as excited as Judy is when they see a beautiful, trained dancer. Loving Charm! She has such a fun spirit. You could tell she was enjoying herself.

I liked the year when KaShara was point and they put them in formation and then announced the team.

I SO feel for you! My husband used to do the exact same thing. I headed him off at the pass because I told him that at 9, I would be watching. Plus, he saw me watching the previous season marathons. He used to wait, I think, for 8 o’clock when ANTM or Project Runway would come on and then would decide he wanted to conversate. But he’s much better trained for DCC.

T&J keep Pooh poohing VK falling out of turns, but she’s a hazard on the sidelines. You already have to keep your eyes out for the players running off the field, now I have to watch out for my fellow cheerleader?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t remember hearing about the famous system Kelli devised for judging the girls! I can’t believe it! Love Kat! Love Charm!

Here’s an unpopular opinion. If VK has a hard time keeping her weight under control, K&J may relax the weight requirements so that she does not look out of place. Of course, they will say that they want their cheerleaders to be a beacon of light to other squads to promote a healthier body image. They will tie in My Fit Foods, the new gym, etc. I’m just kidding (kind of).

Back to the game, how could I miss two of my favorite rookies? I still miss Robin and Kelsey Lowrance!

Man, I wish I could play the game, but honestly, I can hardly remember most of the rookies from last year, even after rewatching this weekend. But here goes. Love: Brennan, Ashlee, Bridget, Heather, Erin, Maddie, Gina, Kelly, Lauren, Briana (I’m sure there are more but can’t remember at the moment) Like: Most of the others Can do without: VK and Rachel (beauty queen) Most missed: Khalyn, Lacey, KaShara and Tasha (just from last year) Still missing and will always miss: Jacie, Mia Greenhouse, Abigail Kline, Holly P., Jenna, Sasha Agent, Jackie Bobb. I love a good comeback story and Brennan is my girl! But I was so surprised by Erin! She took the Maddie class of transformation and came back strong and confident! I love a good comeback story and Maddie and Erin could give a class on it. I was neutral on Ashlee until she spoke. From that moment on, I was a true fan! And it seems as if TPTB really love her. In rewatching last season, K&J were so impressed by her. I remember them saying that she has sex appeal and that she improved the most during training camp. It seems as if she is definitely a favorite! On rewatch, I forgot how gorgeous Alexis is!
