Ugh, Really?! Melania compared to Jackie?! Not even in the same league. Melanie, who has Nude Modeling on her resume, and supposedly working for an escort service when she came to America. Goodness, not even close to Michelle Obama who has been such a terrific 1st Lady: graceful, athletic, fun, stylish, Mom & role model.

I loved seeing Obama enjoying giving out the Medals of Freedom...and the honorees so thrilled to be honored. Obama is just so cool & knows just what to say, its Great watching him, makes me feel good. I was thinking what in the world would tRump be saying about honorees?! He would make it all about himself, and the people would be looking embarrassed.

Truly! He is scary and acting like a dictator already! Bullying the press, allowing his relatives access to Government powers, making pronounements like whatever he says is the truth, everyone keeps saying "give him a chance", sheesh...he's already revealed what he is all about!

And I've said all along, that Ivanka wants to be the "1st Lady"...she already is sticking her nose where it doesnt belong, like sitting in on meetings with Prime Ministers & taking phone calls from the Argentine President. Ivanka says she want to be in charge of the Trump Hotel in DC, but I think she will really be in charge at the White House.

Yes, thats what I said...they are using Barron's school as an excuse for not moving to DC, but I believe the Obama girls(who were very young) moved to DC when their Dad was inaguarated. And Melania will find any reason not to live in that "old house".

Oh my, I know how you feel! I, too, have been told my whole life that I am too emotional, I cry easily, I get upset & worried easily. It drives my husband crazy(altho he is a patient person) and people are always telling me to "calm down", which doesnt help. I, too, am afraid my nation is going down a very dark road...that hate & anger are going to rule our country, and will our nation fall apart! I've been a Democrat my whole life(as was my Mother), and my 2 daughters are both Democrats...so I hope the Democratic party can re-group & fight back against the losses of civil liberties that I see Trump putting into place. Sigh~~I still feel broken & frankly terrified about the Future.

Yes, I thought of the fact what artists, musicians, actors, etc. are going to want to attend White House events, like State Dinners & concerts? Chachi & Chuck Norris are going to show up?! The Obamas always had cool concerts and invited new artists. The Kennedys had more Classical musicians and artists attend events, but always very classy. Will the Trumps be hanging gold wallpaper in the personal living areas?!

Ugh, I'm getting sick just thinking of it. And I'm a History Geek(History major in college), and I always watch the Inauguration ceremony, etc...I cant watch, it would make me ill. And everyone swooning over Melania's style(yes, 1st Lady, previous Nude Model), while I think Michelle has been the most beautiful, classy , stylish 1st Lady we've ever had!

Thats how I feel....I cant bear to see his orange face on TV, and even worse to have to see Kellyanne & all the other 'blondes" chirping away about how great everything is in "Trumplandia", ugh

I was crying watching Tim Kaine speak and Hillary....Tim was so emotional & Hillary was so gracious & strong...I dont know how she held it together...it has to be devastating to her to have lost TWO arduous campaigns.

I cried watching Hillary's speech this morning, she was so gracious & I dont know how she kept it together. Tim Kaine was very emotional while introducting her. I dont 'know how Hillary has survived TWO punishing campaigns....she must be physically & emotionally drained...she deserves to take time off & just enjoy being a Grandma. Hillary could take the title "Iron Lady" away from Margaret Thatcher....Hillary must have great intestinal fortitude to have done all the work she has done for this nation.

You stated a lot of my feelings. Van Jones said there was a "white-lash" against having a black President. I think its true...its scary to think there is so much prejudice still in the US...I thought we were moving beyond that, Sigh~~ I just feel such a sense of sadness...will the USA ever move beyond our divisions at this point?

Donald Trump's older brother died, he was an alcoholic. Donald says that is why has never been a drinker. Apparently the older brother was the father's favorite & was supposed to take over the family business. I find it odd that Donald's sister, who is a Federal Judge, has never appeared with him or made any kind of statement to support him.

Its the only explanation! How the heck did he graduate from the Wharton School of Business when he is so Dumb about the fundamentals of how the Government, and our nation, work?!
