  1. Chrissy was on Harry Connick's talk show today. She looked cute with her hair pulled back and a cute black tunic & leggings. She seemed pleased to be a role model for larger women, she said she gets lots of feedback from fans who admire her for being who she is & not trying to change herself. She got into the acting field when she accompanied her taller, thinner sister(she laughed about that & said they had different fathers) to a Modeling recruitment & a lady approached her about wanting to act.
  2. Mandy Moore is doing a great job as Rebecca, I too, want to know what makes her 'tick" and why she is afraid to have children. And I too like Justin Hartley, he's got an easy charm about him, slightly goofy & he's handsome :)
  3. I loved the series "Parenthood" and now I am enjoying "This is Us"....Kevin was annoying at first, as the dopey actor, but tonight he revealed the deeper part of himself and I liked that...he is so cute with his nieces.
  4. I am getting annoyed with Toby too...he's so pushy. And also, does he have a job?! He doesnt seem to do anything except go to his weight lose meetings
  5. I'm crying too...so many emotional scenes! But yea, I'm confused about William's demise...are we going to get any more details...I liked the character & am sorry he is gone.
  6. I loved Kevin's scenes with William and also his scenes with his nieces, those little girls are so cute.
  7. I thought Hillary looked fabulous last night (I'm close to her age), her hair was shiny and styled great, her make-up gave her a glowy look and the white pantsuit was more flattering than some others she has worn. She didnt sweat(Like Trump), she looked confident and self-assured.
  8. Just my opinion, but I thought Melania looked uncomfortable, especially when Donald made her stand up to be applauded.
  9. The lady in the red dress and white gloves is Maria Bartaromo("Money Honey"). I watched on CNN, Trump got booed and a lady who had been to the dinner in the past, said NOBODY has ever gotten booed before...you are supposed to be light hearted. Trump started out OK, but then got some tough jabs in.
  10. I'm loving Hillary's self-deprecating humor! She said Donald thinks Statue of Liberty is only a "4". Hillary says her favorite number is 45. Donald seems to be laughing
  11. Yea, I cant believe some of his "jokes"...people booing! Maria Bartaromo is behind him & she looked appalled for a moment.
  12. Yea, he was not sniffing this debate, but he was perspiring & wiping his brow & chin and kept sipping water & fidgeting with the microphone.
  13. Thats what I was wondering, why is her English so bad & the heavy accent?! Hasnt she been in America for almost 20 years? And to say "Boys will be boys" and that Billy Bush "egged him on", thinking that sounded "cute"...sheesh, her husband is 70 years old! He's not a teenage boy saying dumb stuff to his friends.
  14. Jeffrey Lord is the worst! He's so smug! And Kayleigh is just annoying! Gloria Borger was trying to stay calm but I think she was ready to just throw up her hands at the absurdity of Lord's remarks.
  15. That was such a vile & uncalled for remark! Talk about nasty, he's as mean and selfish and nasty as all get out.
  16. Yikes, this is depressing to read! And yet, I fear, so true...Trump's supporters will be more riled up & angry when Hillary wins and the divisions in the country will grow. And the networks will continue to make money :(
  17. Yes! My husband worked for TWA and suffered the aftermath
  18. I live in Indiana, and True this! Pence is such a Hypocrite! Calls himself a "Christian" but is defending a disgusting pig like Trump(who calls women pigs & dogs). And Pence is the one who was behind the "Religious Freedom" law that would allow discrimination against Gay people in our state.
  19. From what I've read, Billy Bush was dumb enough to brag to people at a party down in Rio(where he was covering the Ryan Lochte drama) that he remembered the conversation with Trump and that someone should find it & show it, and sure enough someone at Access Hollywood went through their archives & found the footage and released it to NBC(which owns Access Hollywood) and then NBC was holding on to the footage while they consulted with their Legal Department and in the meantime someone at NBC leaked it to WaPo reporter who got it reported and on-air. Little did Billy Bush realize he sealed his fate by bragging about hanging out with Trump.
  20. Good point, they could follow the example of Jimmy&Roslyn Carter who have done work all around the world, and work with Habitat for Humanity.
  21. I am glad GQ gave Keith Olbermann a platform for his opinions...I've missed hearing his viewpoint. Keith is always Passionate & sometimes 'over the top"...but usually I say "Bravo"
  22. I'll join in & say YES to Pres. Obama being named to the Supreme Court! And YES, he has been a terrific President(good Role Model for children, to answer that lady's question at the Debate the other night), My opinion is that History will look back and put him in the Top Tier of Presidents, along with names like Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt(both TR & FDR)
  23. I live in Indiana where our previous Senator, Evan Bayh, jumped back into politics and is running for the Senate again. It is neck and neck in the polls, he is running against a guy who touts his military service. Lots of negative ads, which I'm tired of hearing. But I'm hoping for a Senate that would work with Madame President.
  24. I've not always been a Hillary fan(Obama, all the way, for me), but I am so impressed with how she has kept her cool and remained calm & measured when being attacked by the Trumpster. She is intelligent, she listens to the questions and makes a point of being personal to the person asking it. In the 2nd debate, when Trump was skulking around the stage and getting in her personal space and leaning over her chair, I would have wanted to turn around & tell him to "Get out of the way!". She has been able to withstand 30 years of attacks by the Republicans and she is still standing and fighting for what she believes in. She has 30 years of public service & has showed dedication to her work. Trump is just a 'TV star"(Might as well have Kanye running, he's interested :) As for the Moderators, I liked Lester Holt, he kept things moving along and reigned in Trump's rambling. Anderson & Martha had less luck with keeping the time limits and had to put up with Trump's whining about "not being fair". Trump did not answer one question, like the one about being a good Role Model for children, he just rambled on & tossed out his "Word Salad".
