I enjoyed the tripling down on the Prince and the Pauper plot but I didn't catch the bride's father's name until late in the show.
-
I had a strange sense of deja-vu that kept me from enjoying this one. Was there a point to the "big knees" song at the end? I was expecting to see Meg in a callback of some sort.

Wasn't there an ep in which successful businesswoman Lisa Vanderbucks gave the waitresses new uniforms and girls spent an afternoon altering them to fit better?

Ha ha! You reminded me that I had a neighbor cat who made a point of antagonizing Tabby by jumping on the front windowsill or my car hood and making sure Tabby saw her.
-
I remember them admitting to stealing drinks and hiding them in the bathroom.

What a pretty kitty! My previous cat, Tabby, was rescued from the parking lot where my sister worked. Tabby HATED other cats (I think sis said Tabby was bullied by other strays) and would howl and scream and hiss until blood started spraying out of her mouth if she even suspected one was nearby. On several occasions, people thought there was a wild animal outside making the noise. 😲 Would feeding prescription kidney-friendly cat food make a cat hungrier? I've had to feed Fabulous thrice a day recently.

I am sure they participated, too.

Phaedra Parks: Undertaker, Esq.

Why isn't Shady Phaedra in jail? (OK, the image of her fleeing from Apollo amuses me...) -

Given JBS's involvement with child pageants, that was my first guess.

Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage

I'm indifferent about them, but there's a strong sense of nostalgia with the slogan and song. -
Ariana Madix: Smarter and Prettier than You!

I did not recognise her, either. She looks great. Where were you when Scandoval broke? -
What's the deal with the shirt the girl with several hands on her crotch is wearing? That puckered front seam on her shirt looks terrible. Looks like those wooden letters one can buy at a craft store that were spray-painted black (yeah, I think it sounds better not spelled out. I thought it was a reference to Big Sur State Park for a long time).

I liked Aphrodite making her stage appearance in a giant clam shell and it being a scam to sell baby shower gifts. I did not expect that!

🙄 Fuck this shit. I quit after the attempt at a Superfriends opening spoof.

Say What?: Commercials That Made Us Scratch Our Heads
Gharlane replied to Lola16's topic in Commercials
Is that the one where he says something like "50 cents per pill? Yes, PLEASE!"? I discovered that commercial has several variations running in different markets with the same script but different actors (some are read by an AI with terrible inflection). -
Say What?: Commercials That Made Us Scratch Our Heads

Isn't that what normally happens if you have a hairy butt and use toilet paper? 🤔 That reminds me of an Atkins commercial that I swear starts with Rob Lowe congratulating these people for losing weight from diabetes drugs and then seguewaying into how to keep it off. Won't the drugs do that? I've recently seen a similar time travel commercial in which a neighbor walks in on his neighbor iknventing a time machine so he can win the lottery to pay off his taxes or something. It's played off as a joke at his expense until a medieval knight requests to take the leaf blower back with him. Making even more puzzling, he goes to his financial person and it seems like it was all a daydream, but the knight is there too, so what's going on? 🤷♂️ -
Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage

To me, it looks oddly like a "no more wire hangers!" moment about to happen.
