  1. I actively HATE Trishelle so for me it's just further proof of how shitty this season has been that I'm actually entertaining the idea. MJ has been a total non-entity just blindly voting with the Bravo folks. And I can't really recall any challenges that she excelled in. Can we have an option where the pot just gets donated to charity instead???
  2. At this point, I'm actually rooting for Trishelle, CT, or Sandra to win it all. THAT'S how unremarkable this crew is. I'm going to be pissed if some Bravo person that really hasn't contributed anything to the pot or gameplay ends up taking home the cash. And I can never get behind a late entrant winning either.
  3. I screamed. I did at the end too when she asked Ms. Barbara if she knew a song about Moses because "Imma need you to let my people go." Overall though, I loved how invested Ava was in the whole choir drama. And not in her usual, messy way - she was genuinely interested in helping Mrs. Howard and making her happy.
  4. I don't really watch reality tv and have no idea what inspired me to check this out but I did and I'm hooked. It is so deliciously trashy and ridiculous. I know nothing about and have no interest in polyamory but I suspect this is a really piss poor representation of it. With the exception of the couple that just left with their third, none of these couples seem truly interested in welcoming a third other than for sex. The body builder dude and his wife in particular just seem to be looking for someone to have regular threesomes with.
  5. I had a strong suspicion that he was a figment of Adam's imagination but did NOT expect that ending. And for Adam to then realize that Harry was as lonely and searching for connection as he was. GAH! This movie...😭
  6. I know Philly is getting MJ too. That's the only show that has been announced so far. Oh no wait, they also said Hamilton is coming back too.
  7. https://6abc.com/oscars-2024-ryan-gosling-im-just-ken-barbie/14470311/ If true, I will be very pleasantly surprised. https://6abc.com/oscars-2024-presenters-zendaya-michelle-yeoh/14470113/ Also, presenter names beginning to trickle in.
  8. This movie absolutely destroyed me. I watched it on Saturday and still get misty-eyed when I think about it. I absolutely HATE that this was overlooked by the Academy.
  9. Accept or be murdered was how it was always set up in the first UK season. I don't know why the producers just didn't follow that rule. I mean, they're copying everything else from the UK version. 🤷‍♀️
  10. The beer and wine section of my local grocery store is just the first aisle after the produce/bakery/deli section. Yes, you have to pay for the beer and wine in that aisle, but you can then walk around the store with it in your cart.
  11. Overall I thought it was a pretty good show just because it moved at a good clip. BUT those backstage interviews were just atrocious and annoying. But I also hated the little bit of Tan that I saw on the red carpet. I just don't think he's a very good interviewer. I'm happy that we're now done with tv awards season as I'm bored with seeing Succession, Beef, and The Bear sweep everything. Although I know it's now a moot point with Succession and Beef. And while I love The Bear, IT IS NOT A COMEDY. I haven't watched Oppenheimer yet because I feel like it's going to be a 3-hour slog. But I'm also looking forward to the end of RDJ smug mugging his way through awards season too. He really is in love with the sound of his own voice.
  12. Oh Kevin. Bless your heart, you deluded numpty.
  13. They do take an "oath" to not reveal their identities or that of their fellow traitors but I feel like at the roundtable, it's a little more of a grey area. If Dan had pulled CT into the library and said "I'm a traitor and so are Parvati and Phaedra" or he had stood in the circle and said, "I'm a traitor and so are Parvati an Phaedra", I think that's where the "rules" would come into play. But during the actual roundtable I feel like all bets are off. I haven't watched a single iteration of this show where traitors didn't go for other traitors at the roundtable at some point.
  14. While I do think the video could prove to be problematic given the environment in which the conversation was taking place, let's remember: With the exception of Janine, none of what the teachers were describing is illegal. Vaping, edibles, CBD oil, drinking, etc. are all legal activities. Well, maybe not Ava's micro-dosing or Mr. Johnson's blunts...But it's not like they were discussing hitting the pipe.
  15. I think she voted for Peter. MJ wouldn't know a smart move if it bit her in the ass and I don't think she would go against the Bravolebrities. Thank you Phaedra for another random food aside.
  16. It is exceptionally easy to get a medical marijuana license in PA. Also in Philly, our DA's office has basically stopped prosecuting possession and consumption of a certain amount of pot so for all intents and purposes, it's practically legal. The F.A.D.E. folks were a hot ass mess. Once again the kids were the highlight with their questions. I sincerely hope that Jessca 🙄 is genuine in that she won't be returning to Abbott. I don't need to see her again.
  17. What to Know About This Crazily Crowded Broadway Spring Season Unlocked NY Times article.
  18. He looks like a figure at Madame Tussaud's. Naturally, I expect to see him as a contestant next season. 🙄
  19. Seeing Michael J. Fox present Best Film hit me HARD. 😭 As did seeing Cate Blanchett in that dress. Damn. 😍
  20. Eh. I didn't take any of the kids' "romances" seriously and I don't think Melissa and Ms. Barbara do either. To me it was just a further demonstration of how involved in these kids lives they are and how much they care about them. Contrasted with Gregory whose mission it seems is to teach and run every day.
  21. 12??? Good grief. I didn't even remember this was on last night and was only reminded when I saw a new thread. Phaedra (sp?) can stick around for as long as she wants if only for her random asides about the food. "I want cream cheese and preserves." Huh? While it was certainly better than last week, this season is a gigantic snooze. You know it's bad when flippin' Trishelle is making the most sense.
  22. OMG, I completely forgot about recess! Good grief, I'm old. 👵 If the weather was inclement, we stayed indoors (in our own classrooms) which was why Jalen's accouncement last week of "Heads down, thumbs up, time to play 7-Up!" had me giggling the way it did.
  23. Mrs. Howard's continued exasperation with Tariq's antics. 🤣 And naturally he eats Lunchables. But if he doesn't work and basically stays home all day, why is he even packing a lunch for himself? I'm hoping that Janine's first-hand experiences at the district will give her some clarity when and if she returns to Abbott as a teacher. Government bureaucracy is notoriously slow and unyielding so I'm wondering whether seeing it in action close up will temper some of her enthusiasm and/or make her a little more jaded. Loved seeing the success she finally experienced with Imani though. It may have gotten a little dusty in my house. Curious to see how long Gregory maintains his status now that he's making them stand outside in the freezing cold to tend to his garden. Also, I went to Catholic rather than public school but the idea of kids having free reign over the school during their lunch period was bizarre to me. If I wasn't at my regular table in the cafeteria during lunchtime, one of those nuns would have noticed my absence. I think the library was the only other "acceptable space" during that period.
  24. After 27 series, I think I'm ready to retire this from my line-up. I find my mind wandering during each viewing and I'm just generally bored to tears. They either need to bring in some new characters or shake things up dramatically. And that ending. 🙄 I'd watch a Velvy/Cara/Gabriel spin-off though.
