the doctor has always just had this paternal role with companions that to me made any relationship a bit ick. Rose was a bit different but even then it got too angsty for me.

I liked capaldi. While I at first loved the impossible girl, clara and 11 got a little too flirty and I thought having a doctor not be swayed by clara cute was a nice change. Sonic sunglasses were just silly however.

when will this show END?

Anyone reading the new comics? They are not whedon-penned, but still have a nice feel for the 'verse. Set before the movie so everyone's all there.

shoes: if being on her feet as a waitress has given darlene plantar fascitis or other painful foot ailments, taking shoes off is painful and bad. I think the survey and the assignment were fine. But Jackie being over the top and confrontational just embarrassed Mark and scared away pollees.

My 11 year old daughter cuts up collards every day for her dragon. If an 11 yr old can do it, surely an adult can. (of course the dragon doesn't always eat them, he is picky and holds out for bugs n berries.)

This was a great episode. I agree they should have kept the order, as Dan's grief is so raw here. I also thought Becky's beer during her talk with Dan was foreshadowing. I wish they wouldn't write Jacky to be so cringeworthy. I cringed at church, I cringed at the mall, although less. If you don't know the church practices, you shut up and follow along. In fact, this episode was so tightly written and acted, I wondered if Roseanne dying was going to be in the plot all along.
