  1. That, and I can't figure out how he was only impaled on the top of his leg. He landed on his back, so the bar would have gone through his leg from the back to the front. But everything after that -- him sitting on a chair, pulling the bar out & sewing -- makes it look like the only wound is the top of his thigh. I know, I know: sitcom reasons. it also occurred to me that he'd need stitches on the other side of the leg too.
  2. Despite knowing and cringing at the mysogyny, I have a soft spot for the movie, because Liz Taylor rocks.
  3. Is it just me, or are all the videos a promo for grey's anatomy? I tried watching through it to see if it was a commercial, but nope, all the same.
  4. Hive/Grant is ok by me, what's annoying is how he's one step ahead of them always. Makes me think there's more than one double agent... Drugged Daisy is also ok by me. Less schmoopy times for all, except Fitzsimmons.
  5. The original bachelor plan was japan, right? I could swear it was Japan, and there was an episode about finding the money.
  6. totally #AbbieMillsDeservesLove! I just am sick of the trope that it has to be the other main character. They are trying to establish her FBI boss for romance, but I'm not feeling that yet. Agreed.
  7. I'd love to see more of Crane and THO drinking and also bitching about women. Crane could dis on Katrina. Do we think there will be a redemption for Pandora? One of the things I liked when the show started was that there was no inevitable predictable romantic tension between the leads, just a good friendship. It helped that Crane was married, and after Katrina left all the potential romances (history buffs, sewers etc) seem to get dead or trailed off. I'd really rather not have the show go there. Team Friendship, and bring in some other characters for romance. Need more scoobies in the gang anyhow.
  8. The recap mentions that Edith confessed the truth to Marigold to her future MIL, who respected her honesty. Did I sleep through that part, or did that get cut from the US PBS broadcast?
  9. Despite the choking maybe not being technically accurate, I found it to be the most creepy thing I ever saw on this show. Butch's hand getting chopped off, Fish popping out her own eyeball, Penguin stabbing people left right and center, I can handle, but the slow loving closeup on poor Ms. Kringle as she died... that was disturbing. I haven't watched an ep since.
  10. When Stumpy first started moving around, did anyone else think "weeping angel reference!" So I was prepared to find him spooky, then he turned out to be more of a puppy following Jones around, ha. Cassandra's clothes are much better. Still eclecticly colored, that's fine, but longer hemlines at least.
  11. This ep seemed very Leverage-familiar to me... even the set reminded me of a Leverage episode The Underground Job... ok, without the magic mischief spirit. So as much as I like Christian Kane, it was a little boring to me. Then again, I am one who likes episodes with Flynn, even when he's being a huge ham. Mmm, ham.
  12. I haven't listened to all the Big Finish audios, but we know they are canon from the 8th doctor's regeneration and his mention of companions. In those, Susan is alive and has a son. I don't know if she ever regenerated...
  13. To be clear though, it wasn't the Seld-M-Break Plastic Ties that broke, so much as the Gremlin Jesus Bar Ava was tied to. Add me to the list of those who hope Boone dies a horrible castrating death by Loretta's wiles. I have no idea how they're going to wrap this up in only one more episode. I will miss this show, so well done.
