  1. As others have stated about the lack of food when the human race has been reduced to a single digit number is crazy. Unless the infected attack and eat all animals. Then I could see there being a scarce amount of game to hunt. But, if they are in remote area I would think that logic would not apply. And why do people give up all freedoms and any individual thought process, to follow a sadistic leader? I know we do not have the whole story since the series keeps new people/gangs to one maybe two episodes. They could have done a whole season on this crazy group alone. That goes for the people that live in the cities. They don't mind living in filth, food rations, and apparently getting shot or killed on the streets is normal business. If I had one trip outside the walls of a city I would never go back. The infected apparently are not that big of an issue in this series as our Dynamic Duo traveled across country with little interaction with infected. And rouge gangs seem minimal too. I would rather take my chances on my own then live under a dictatorship where your neighbor may take you out for a piece of Government cheese or the current militant in charge can drag you from your hovel and kill you. Another beef I had. Why are people living in dilapidated homes? They did not start out that way. I get it took time to get things going again but why not keep up the buildings? And, I don't know, stop littering in the streets. What do these people do all day? They don't have jobs like we do now so why live in filth?
  2. The show no longer even tries to pretend they have not earmarked many of the contestants that they will promote over the rest of the contestants. Well, at least they are being transparent. HA! Yes, Fire was not great, but I don't think she was worse than so many others they fawned over and put through. We shall see how long she lasts in the competition. There are so many that I do not see making it past Hollywood Week due to lack of talent or too timid to not be pushed around by bigger personalities. I do want to say, "Thank Goodness the Auditions are over!" I am very tired of the sad stories making the contestant "talented" enough to go through. Bring on Hell Week!
  3. I don't know the names of the two women on Gordon's team, but both need to put their hair up. One of them practically had her hair in the fish she was fileting. It was distracting and I am surprised they do not require them to pull it off their face.......and the food. No way could you work in Gordan's restaurant with your hair down.
  4. No Kidding! Her condo or townhouse is very basic and from the quick glimpse out the balcony doors it looks to be right on top of the boardwalk. They even kidded that at 2-3am you can hear the drunks on the boardwalk yelling. Reminds me of Jersey Shore episodes. So, it looks like a low-end condo/townhouse, in a crowded and noisy part of the Shore. As she did the tour it looked a thousand other rental properties in a beach town.
  5. Well, that was interesting. The large tattoo of a women squatting with her hand in her privates, on his back was nasty. No wonder they blacked it out. Patrick's breakfast was mind boggling and apparently wore him out to the point he had to take a nap! Only to wake up and eat lunch. I don't know how he will ever break the cycle as he showed zero interest in changing.
  6. Well, Ben decided to stay true to Camille. Kuddos to him. Too bad it was for someone like Camille, who will chew him up and spit him out once their time in DR is over. I liked the new girl...her name escapes me. I agree with Frasier that the new stew is more of a match for him then Camille. I think once Camille dumps him, he will ring up the new stew. Sad to see Lee retire but it appears to be time. I have always liked him and his corny catchphrases. Let's hope they get a good replacement for him. The guests went along with it but I doubt it was their idea. I am pretty sure it was discussed when they went over the clients' requests at the pre-charter meeting. I thought they said the clients wanted a competition with the crew, which I thought was dumb. Apparently, the clients wanted the crew to compete against each other. And why did Tony not win? He works out every morning and looked the most ripped of all the crew. The fix was in............... :-)
  7. It seemed to me she was mad because they talked about her and her relationship with Amanda instead of Karl flexing his power over Kyle about his job. I do think Lindsey is in Karl's ear about pushing back about getting more money and work less from Kyle. The fact that Karl did not follow her script made her mad. I have to give her credit for pulling back from having a typical Lindsey meltdown, but I think it is because she is aware everyone in the house is watching her and Karl. I am not much of a Danielle fan, but I can see where she feels left out. It is weird that Karl and Lindsey seem to stick together the entire time they are in the house. Considering they were all friends for years and interacted with others in the house before they got together, it is weird. I can see how Danielle and others say they are in a "Love Bubble" (borrowed from RHNJ) and it is not realistic. I think Danielle misses her girl time with Lindsey and that is part of the reason she is a bit put-off with Lindsey.
  8. If this is true, it is nothing like the picture they painted of her background. I do believe most of what we see in these audtions are staged, if not all of it. They put people through that I thought we terrible. I realize I am not a singing talent scout I just know what I like to hear. Hollywood week is going to crush some of these contestants. This is my first time watching the show in probably 6 years or so. So, I noticed we do not see Ryan Seacrest as much as we used to. Is it because he has morning show etc and does not have the time to give to the show now? And the pants he had on last night were weird looking.
  9. How did Carl and Kyle not talk to each other when they got back from the last disastrous weekend? They work together for goodness's sake. Kyle is Carl's boss. Surely at some point during the week they had to have talked to each other. Right? I do think Lindsey is behind most of this shit. Talking to Carl and telling him he deserves more but instead of telling Carl to talk to his boss about it, she seems to be just throwing a little bit of fire on an already smoldering mess by this passive aggressive BS. She may have good intentions, but I question her approach. And I am starting to think this is more producer driven then actual real life. Or at least it is being embellished for the show.
  10. This is absolutely correct and Jenn has to know but does not care because like someone said upthread, she has nothing else but the show. The segment of show with Jenn and Bill at the therapist was uncomfortable to watch. Look at Bill's face every time either the therapist or Jenn talk about his infidelity. The pained expression says it all. Yes, he cheated but having this aired over several episodes on a Reality TV show has got to be difficult for him personally and professionally. She said she forgave him but she is not letting it go. It appears she is going to get her pound of flesh for the 10 years she did not bring it up. I like Bill and feel for him having to deal with Jenn. She is getting to be a bit much. I think the fact that the queen of the show, Teresa, has her back no matter what, has gone to Jenn's head.
  11. Glad to know I am not the only one that thinks most of the singers getting through are getting through due to their stories. Some are so meek and timid, I don't think they will make it through the first week of competition. Teaming up is one of the most stressful and cutthroat part of the competition. But then again, Scotty McGree was kicked out of his group because they wanted to go with someone else. Well, Scotty had the last laugh when he won! I feel it is very unfair or stacking the deck for those showcased vs those singers that did not have a sad sob story. But going into the next round we already know and they already have following as the others don't. Just doesn't seem right.
  12. I totally agree. Carl has been off since he and Lindsey hooked up. I think all the drama with Kyle and Loverboy is all Lindsey. Every guy she has "dated" was never good enough for her so now she has Carl, who appears to have just given up. Or should I say given complete control to Lindsey. And the passive-aggressive comment by Danielle that Amanda is not trustworthy because she is friends with both her and Lindsey and Danielle fees that Amanda doesn't tell her everything or isn't truthful due to her friendships. Shut the fuck up Danielle. That was so shitty to do. Lindsey is the most 2 faced, manipulative in that house.
  13. She could lose that just taking a dump after that breakfast for 8 she just ate. speaking of her breakfast, don't forget that slab of ham she had on the 3rd plate of food.
  14. ITA. I think viewers have more of an issue with Captain Sandy than the crew. I haven't been that crazy about Captain Sandy but she was ok on this season and her decision to can both Camille and Alissa was the right thing to do. Glad Captain Lee is back. And Angel is up there as one of the most annoying and disrespectful POS on BD.
  15. Can't believe the team that went home, Jamie and the other guy whose name escapes me right now, instead of the team with the pink designs. So sad to see both of them go.
  16. I am happy to know I was not the only one that thought most, if not all, the singers this round were mediocre at best. It has been several years since I have watched AI and remember some of the contestants got more coverage than others. But going to their hometown or work, detailing their sad story and giving them a # seems unfair to the contestants that apparently did not make the producers favorites list. There was a montage of contestants that made it through but no #s or names. So those that the producers apparently liked, get a leg up before they even get to Hollywood. Just seems like it is not an even playing field.
  17. It does not appear that Amy has lost any weight. If this pic is recent and the season is a year old, well that is not good. Tammy on the other hand is definitely losing weight. I wonder if this makes Amy jealous?
  18. ITA. Not only that, but her recap of the conversation or the ease drop she did to L&K of what Kyle said, only had a small hint of accuracy. Danielle added her opinion or attitude towards Kyle talking about Karl. Why is she so loyal to a fault with L&K? And Danielle can poo-hoo Kyle's comments about hiring Karl when he was un-hirable, but it is true. It's on tape from previous seasons. Everyone knows Karl was a mess back then and I think Kyle hiring him started the road to being sober. Yes, his brother's passing was the last push he needed. Kyle, who normally is a moron, actually sounded like a grown adult when he talked to Danielle about it and was honest that he had no idea what to do. I think that was a real moment with Kyle as he seems torn that he should probably let Karl go but mixed feelings as Karl is a close friend that he cares about and they were pretty tight friends. Kyle and Karl need to sit down and talk it out and see if Karl needs to stay or go. I totally agree with Kyle that Lindsey is in Karl's ear and knows exactly what she is doing. The look on Karl's face when Danielle was giving them the tea was one of "oh shit, what the fuck did I do". Karl knows he is being influenced by Lindsey and doesn't know how to stop it. Adding that Amanda handle the topic when it came up at the girl's tea party, very well. It is between the two men and girlfriends and Beasties need to stay out of it. Amanda needs to go to the Dr. She does not look healthy. At all.
  19. I think, or what I saw change, is exactly that Alissa was gone. One person in a work setting can be so toxic it does affect everyone involved. Removing Alissa (and Camille for that matter) completely changed the atmosphere, lifting the negative crap that swirled around Alissa and her overblown self-importance to the crew. Fraser rose to the change by embracing it instead of continuing with the gossip and back talk. He could have sulked, moaned and groaned that his best stew was fired. So, I get Sandy's praise to Fraser. I am not a Sandy fan and hated her season with the whole Hannah and drug issue. But this time around I did not mind her as much. Could she have done some things differently, sure. It was apparent she liked her deck crew, but those guys and gal, were kicking it and doing their jobs with little, if no drama. The Bosun sleeping with a crew member is not ideal, but it did not affect their work, well, until this episode that is. We have to remember this is not real life of a crew on a yacht but a reality show. I am sure the show pushes drunken hook ups and relationships for the drama.
  20. Yes they do. I admit it was difficult to watch knowing he was innocent and if that had not been cleared up by season two I was going to be out. Second season was good, but I am struggling with the third season but sill like the show.
  21. UGH! Why are their only 3 men in the house? It is usually the men that break up all the drama going on in the house with girls. This year should be called Sorority House.
  22. Didn't we already know that Carl was not only drinking but doing Coke? Maybe I saw it elsewhere and not on the show. Carl has been pretty good about coming clean on his past addictions, so I am not sure if it was totally out of line in his conversation with Kyle. That being said I am on Team Kyle. I remember the first couple of seasons and Carl was a walking mess. Could not hold down jobs and even when Kyle gave him a job he fucked up several times due to his addictions. But Kyle did not fire him. Now Lindsey, who is also a (or was) a friend of Kyle's, knows all this past history. But she still feels she needs to tell Carl he deserves better and should go out and get a better job. This could be a very big mistake on Carl's part. He will not get the pass he has gotten from Kyle in the past and could be gainfully unemployed rather quickly. And it is shitty for Lindsey to put it in Carl's head that Kyle has not been a good friend or boss. I don't see them lasting long if Carl throws it all away and ends up with nothing. I am not saying this is the only job he could keep. But if he is unhappy working with Kyle, he needs to be a grownup and either work it out with Kyle or let Kyle know he is leaving. Not leave because Lindsey told him to.
  23. I loved him on the Jr Bakers show. I saw him on this before I saw him on the Jr Bakers show and almost forgot he was on this. He did a lot of eye rolling at the other guy who just is not funny.
  24. No, this was her first visit on camera. Maybe she wanted to be on the show before but didn't get chosen. But living only an hour from Houston, it doesn't surprise me that she went to him before. And Dr. Now said she weighed in at 486 5 years ago. So, she gained 145 in five years. I have to say I think Dr. Now is more direct with some of his clients then he was in the past. He gave her some shit on her 2nd visit when he told her to lose 40 lbs and she gained 4 pounds (I think). I will be surprised if she actually does it and keeps the weight off. I doubt it.
  25. Finally got to see the firing of Alissa. It was some what satisfying but not that satisfying. This is until Ben called Camille and she gloated over the firing. And no Camille you were not vindicated. You were both awful, you just got fired first. Alissa's parting comment that she was ok getting fired because she was the voice for interior and had to stand up against the captain. What an idiot. You had a shitty attitude, an overblown sense of importance in your job performance and you lost your girl card with the flirting with a guy you know another girl liked. You basically suck and when you get in the real work world you will have a rude awakening if you don't learn how shut your month.
