S06.E11: St. Elmo's Fire
gaPeach replied to TwirlyGirly's topic in 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days
I don't understand the attraction between these two. And apparently, they don't either. The fact that their relationship has its challenges and they have not discussed them is setting them up for failure. All these things should have been discussed at length before he even got on the plane. I don't think he is "gaslighting" Cleo, but I think this is a favorite buzz word for anyone not happy with the other person. Then confronting Christian with her friend was kind of a shitty thing to do. Glad he asked the friend to leave so he could talk to Cleo directly. I think Cleo is gaslighting Christain! I don't like Cleo because now Christain seems very sympatric instead of the grease ball I thought he was. He needs to get on plane on go home. I cannot look at Gino or Jasmin without picturing their golden shower from last week. Ewwwwww! -
ITA. I really thought rainbow hair lady was toast as she messed up a key lime pie which was probably one of the simplest receipts in the contest. She should have gone instead of Kyle. But Kyle shot himself in the foot putting cream cheese in the icing. Judges saw that and made their decision on who was going home. Regardless of him doing that he made a cake he never made before, without a recipe (really?) and it didn't totally suck. She on the other hand messed up a simple pie dish. Should. have. gone. home. How did the judges expect the cooks to bake cakes they never made before without a recipe? I looked for instructions on their work areas but saw none. So, if the chef's that had hard cakes with no recipe, in my opinion if they had a "cake" at the end, they automatically get through. Why Kyle did not use powder sugar to fix frosting is beyond me. I liked him and sorry to see him go.

Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars - General Discussion
gaPeach replied to oliviabenson's topic in Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars
We could see it but Caroline only saw Gordon acknowledging it and she took it as shout out she was being TOO helpful to the other contestants. Eyelash Ashly had to go. I still not sure what she does and what she actually did on the show. She always seems to get by each challenge by blending in and laying low. Except when she disagreed with Caroline in front of the judges of the challenge. That was ballsy but only time she really chimed up. I thought they all did a good job but find it hard to believe they came up with their own ideas of how to incorporate the food with the performance. Surely, they had help from the show runners as they have been thinking about it for a while. The only person left worth investing in is Lan. Caroline would be a nightmare to work with and Gordon would end up filing a restraining order against her. And Chris..........er.........I got nothing. -

Best.episode.ever! I have always loved Ashea and she rocked it out! Captain Jason stepped up too. So proud of both of them. And the entire crew....well, the ones that are left. Speaking of Laura, that girl is not right. Something is very wrong with her. Her total lack of empathy towards Margot was appalling but also very telling. She just did not get it. There was a total disconnect with her and what happened. And her behavior towards Adam was disturbing and if she had been a man, she would have been kicked off boat after the 2nd episode. Is this what Narcissism looks like? Or is she a sociopath? Gaslighting Margot about what happened was too much. Good bye and good riddance. -
Ok we now know there are at least 3 of us watching the show. Hi Guys! It was obvious that Bobby was going to win the first challenge. He has mad skills in putting flavors together. But the 2nd challenge I thought Sonny's team had a good shot at it, that is until the judges tasted their food and saw the burnt paper on the cheesecake, I knew they were in trouble. What thought process did she have thinking that burnt paper was a cute way to present her dessert? And now all the teams are loud. I attribute that to Sonny completely.
-
No, you are not the only one. I will watch anything BBQ. I love Bobby and watching anything he is on. But Sunny is so LOUD. And I noticed this last episode her team is following her lead.

I am rewatching this show and had to come say something about the vapid females in this house. I do not know what it is about Luke that the girls do not like but I think he is the most stable and calm guy in the house! But Hannah has poisoned the girls against him and Ciera has doubled down on it with the "texting after 10 only means he wants to have sex and lord his power over her" BS! Nothing Luke does at this point will be accepted by the Bitch Squad. Their proclaiming Luke and Lindsey did sleep together because the Physic said so and, well they all KNOW FOR A FACT they did. Why? Because they don't like Lindsey or Luke. The good thing is, I know who ends up out of the house and disliked by most, and how gets back in the house and is in as of last season. I just don't get the Luke hate other than the bitches in the house made it their mission to get him out. Again, he is the nicest guy of the group. I am on Team Luke.

Egad, we must hate this show. Only 7 responses, almost a week after the episode aired! I miss the old Simon that rarely smiled, did not encourage talentless acts, and called people on their BS, but what we have is a AI clone of the real Simon, who is chilling in a large tube of water being kept alive, only to be awaken when they celebrate Episode 2000. This show is really sucking.

Ok the blonde southern chick is right that this is a competition. But does that negate the fact that even in war you have allies. I understand why she said she picked them, because they had 5 teammates. And the Midwest team did not take to kindly to it and I don't really blame them. That 10 minutes had to have been agonizing. The chick from Midwest team was very lucky that other chick made a terrible dish. A dish she grew up with and is from her cultural. CONTESTANTS do not do a regional/culture dish unless you do it PERFECTLY. That is what saved the Midwest chick. Sorry I do not remember names. I will try better next week....or until they get rid of enough of them that I can remember the remaining few.

Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars - General Discussion

I am surprised Aaron wasn't fire long ago. He always has the same "Deer in the Headlights" look on his face in every challenge. I have no idea why or how he got on this show. And as a chef Tony never should have let them do that awful smoothie and done one that looked and tasted good. Gordan is world renowned Chef and would never have highlighted a kitchen tool using crap ingredients. Lan for the win. But this is really a shit show. And yes, I will keep watching this train wreck. -

As much as I hate most of the contestants, I still love Gordan. Not sure why he is slumming on this show, he has several other shows and is rich. Maybe he lost a bet to Joe or one of the other judges on MasterChef and they made him take the most idiotic, unprofessional cooks/business/Donutmaker/beverageguy show. Gordan, you are so much better than this shit show. -

She absolutely looked like shit considering that was 2 hours of getting ready. And she did look like a girl in the secretarial pool in the 60s with her weird headband and her short go-go dress. And I agree, she did not look drunk but very high at dinner. And she threw herself at the bosun whats-his-name, who I think is trying to be Gray 2.0. -
S06.E09: The Big Chill
gaPeach replied to 1011101010001's topic in 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days
I just can't believe they did not talk about the intimate part of a relationship, considering it is a big deal considering the physical similarities. Its kind of a big deal. This conversation is important in all romantic relationships but especially between them. But this seems to be a normal thing on 90 day shows. Couples never talk about important things and then get together and are shocked they have issues. Go Figure. -
S18.E08: Simon's Most Memorable Auditions
gaPeach replied to Mr. Sparkle's topic in America's Got Talent
This show is getting as bad as AI with the prechosen acts to go through are pretty much the only ones we see. Only once did I see them not put an act through that they did back story on and showed the whole audition and judges said no. That was the two country singing sisters. Not sure why as I did not find the any worse or better than acts, they already sent through. Usually, the acts not going through are in a montage mix up that we only see act for seconds before the get the boot. So AGT already picked who was going through. So, adding another GB is nothing for this show. -
Well, the right guy when home. Actually, the other guy that served raw lobster could have gone, either one was the right elimination. The guy that went home purposely did not BBQ, but instead, took on side vegetables and did a sucky job at that. I knew Sunny's team was toast when the judges commented on how both of them did not do much in the team challenge and could tell they were kind of hiding to stay below the radar. It was their undoing. Seems this season, the good cooks are apparent much sooner in the season than normal. Not sure if that was on purpose and they picked some so-so cooks vs really talented cooks. Like the chick that made the apple dessert. It must have been good as all the judges loved it.
-
I did not realize they had reunion show until I saw it on thread. After reading comments I think I will pass. I hate the whole love triangle and sad that Colin and Daisy are not together. Especially after the whole season being about them. The fact that Colin, Gary and even the Captain ganged up on Daisy is very sad. This was my favorite BD crew. This past season has ruined that now.

Jasmine has a dick she does the fucking. Maybe Gino wants a submissive. They both are fucked up. I think you are right, Jasmine does have a dick.....actually 3 of them. Honestly, when she whipped them out and was taking about doing anal, I assumed she was going to do it to Gino. Not the other way around.
-
No, but I will now!
-
My point exactly. How to serve that many people at once. I do believe that red team running out of potatoes was strictly driven by the producers. Exactly nothing. It is just one more way to bring drama I suppose, but it has nothing to do with a bunch of home cooks. It gives Joe a chance to be even more of a dick then he usually is.
-
I knew the moment the bule team picked porkchops I knew they would be the losing team. The thickness of the chop was definitely going to be an issue. How are they supposed to serve 101 plates all at once? That is basically what they are asking these teams to do, serve 101 people all at same time. I think even Gordan's well-oiled kitchen team under his command, would have issues serving that many people at once. I hate these challenges and was sorry to see that one guy go. What a sucky way of losing the competition. With that being said, how in the world did they keep sending out raw porkchops? I thought they had a system but apparently it did not work. And the red team running out of potatoes. Ok who is responsible for that? Production? Don't they stock the kitchens? Did the red team blow through all the potatoes, or did they have mishaps and have to throw a bunch out? We did not hear anything about that, so I am guessing not. So, I call production interference and Shenanigans.

Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars - General Discussion
gaPeach replied to oliviabenson's topic in Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars
I agree with this. She did not lead her team and it would not have taken much to do even that. She got caught up in talking to customers and being the face of the coffee shop. I honestly don't know how the young kid is still there. Caroline was on her best behavior this episode. But she looks at Gorgan with such longing and desire, I keep waiting for her to jump him. She really thinks she is going to win this whole thing. I hope not. -
Maybe we should have a drinking game for every time one of them does the dramatic sigh? This show as became like a lot of the other "competitive" shows where the contestants are not picked because they are talented, but because they will make good drama and have a sad backstory. I don't know how some of them even made it on the show. Richie would be a classic example of who not to pick. He sucked both weeks he was on show. And tried to LIE to Gordan Ramsey.

Not too sure about Sunny on this show. Did she go up to Bobby and take his trophy away because he won with her original group? I thought that was weird and came across mean spirited. Maybe its just me. Blonde chick was never going to make it on this show. Why come on a BBQ show if you don't really do BBQ? Or does she? It's almost as bad coming on the show as strictly a Vegan. The Healthy BBQ was classic and a great exit comment. Bub Bye.
