Why didn't anyone give Susan Del Percio the dress memo?
-
Was that rebranding or Marcus just being an overbearing jerk? He mocked Dad for not wanting to change the company name. He wants to appeal to the NASCAR crowd not Formula One crowd?
-
This is getting dull and boring. Yet another opportunity for Marcus to play Dr Phil. And his vanity projects are getting out of hand. We're dragged around the country to either companies he's bought, stores with his name (Marcus in Chicago) or some NASCAR place in Joliet with Camping World ads plastered around the track. Ugh!

December 13th episode Switched at the Hospital was really the saddest episode of LLF I've seen. Most of the stories are typical of what I expect and basically the same. This one came out of nowhere. -
An episode that Marcus actually doesn't invest in companies poorly run by slightly crazy owners? Good idea. I'd like to see that more often.
-
Excellent in every way. Just the right amount of humor and satire and knowing when to get serious.
-
FFS if you're willing to invest as much as $500,000 in a business at least pronounce the name of the product correctly. . I hope Marcus knows that a macaroon is a totally different thing.

Great interview with Adam Schiff last night. Good get for Rachel. CNN even ran a portion this morning. -
I guess I'm the outlier here. I thought this movie was meh. Too long for a not gripping plot. The plot weak. The acting was good although I'm not a fan of Daniel Craig's Andy Griffith accent.

This episode was another find a business owner with a kind of nutty personality, who can't stay focused, that Marcus can somehow rein in, while he (Marcus) twists himself into a pretzel to try and make it work. Sometimes I think this is just becoming a vehicle for Marcus to see himself on camera.

Me too. Not only how Red got injured but who wrapped up his leg? Also about Smaug. Dr T did tell the owners not to let him roam around. I hope she meant forever.

I really didn't like Friday's episode. There was too much over the top drama or even faux drama for me. There really wasn't anything unusual in either story that, for me, merited an episode. And as in many episodes, unanswered questions. I would have liked to know if Greg's adopted mother was ever heard from again or did she just disappear? -

Thanks for posting the interviews. Chris makes mention of his own adoption and finding his birth mother on a fairly regular basis during the shows. I've never heard Lisa talk openly about her background only just occassional vague references. -
The movie had great background and history which I'd only previously seen in Formula One racing documentaries. I liked the movie and usually like race car movies. I would not have seen it if it had been about NASCAR because I don't follow that.

I think Lea was very fortunate to have been able to meet her dad. She'll possibly be able to learn her mother's name and he told her the name of the town where he met her. It's highly unlikely she'll ever be able to meet her but she could go to Korea, to the town where her mother lived and get a sense of her heritage if she wanted to. It liked that her adopted parents were able to adopt a child that looked like them. -
This episode annoyed me to no end. Did Marcus see Mr Coco Love on Shark Tank? If he did, why would he think he could get into business with him, If he didn't see the episode, his staff isn't doing their job.

I think so too. I'm glad it got the medical treatment it needed and proper owners. The rabbit will have to take the medicine for a couple of months, according to Dr T, to see if if it works. It would be nice if we saw a follow up.

Vera's story was sad. I don't know how I feel about sister and dad but I think it was more important for Vera to get some closure with what happened to her. And I love her. She came across as a sweet lady. -
ITA I was actually pissed that she didn't have her rabbit spayed or at least say she would not keep it with a male rabbit.

Chris was definitely reveling in his anniversary week. Congrats Chris! -
This was very confusing. Does Marcus own anything with the owners? How much money has he lost? How much money is he ok with continuing to lose, And being sued. Is that ok too?

I was so inspired by Meg. So young to have to face such a huge life threatening health issue. Bravo to her for her fortitude. She and mom were cute. Man. Poor Howard. What a crummy way to spend your teen years. But he seems like a nice guy and I'm happy he found his mom. -

The reason I thought Ignatius being on with Rachel would've been an easy get is that he's a regular on Morning Joe. But maybe he doesn't want anymore television exposure . -

Rachel's reporting of David Ignatius' article was very interesting. I hope it gets more attention. I wish she would have had him on to talk about it.
