when my daughters had their scans to find out gender, they had to give the name and address of their doctor and were told that a report would be sent to their doctor if there was anything amiss. they personally were not notified, but that the doctor would be given a head sup.

not sure what you mean by this but raising kids is raising kids. there were other quite large distractions in my mom's life at the time she raised us. so apples or oranges, what i was saying is that alyssa will most probably do just fine raising her kids. if my mom could do it with the strike she had against her, then so to can these girls.

my mother had 6 kids by age 23, starting with me at age 16. she did not have help, kept a spotless house and was a size 4 my whole life. alyssa seems to be the type-A sort of gal, like my mom. she will probably do just fine.

btdt --- fell and ruined my tailbone (for life probably). it was a beautiful drive there; we drove up from texas.

well its been a couple weeks i think and i am only to #2398 (shortly after the show started). i am enjoying it really. it is making me feel motivated to work harder on my own blog. ...and to add more photos to it!

i like the name janessa. i had a couple of students with that name, years ago. who ever asked about pronunciation, i call it jan--essa, not jan-eeeee-sa.

all i can say is that it was 91 here today in riverside county and that is just wrong. i finally caved and hit the a/c just a few minutes ago to cool down the house for the evening. it was 80 degrees inside my house!!!!

btw, i am calling for it to be named anthony......

well lets see--- i just finished reading the first year of her blog....it's 4:01a.m. easter morning and i could not sleep. definitely gonna take more than a week toread this stuff. i really just want to get to her pregnancy year but i havent seen a fast forward option....

i write a blog a well. the difference is that i do it when i have something to share as opposed to an every day thing. i actually write it for my grandkids to see someday in the future -- telling them what i think about the world. every january i have it printed and hardback bound into a book for my shelf....for them to read some day. reading erin's is giving me the idea that i should go back to the beginning and read my own posts! i currently am on my 7th year of writing! reading hers is gonna take me a while -- i am only on #45ish !!!

just watching the news reports on this...

the rain finally arrived here in my neck of the woods. we had been predicted to have the worst rainstorm of the whole season....it has been northwest of us for a couple days but WE are just today seeing it. did i mention i love rainy days? well, except when i have to go out for errands and appointments - otherwise i could enjoy sitting in my house listening to it for days.

it would make me happy to be so dedicated to cleaning. i try but as i get older i am not as uptight about it as i used to be.

oh Lord, thats miserable. feel better.
