  1. Kandi, since she has the bank account for this show, and isn’t afraid to express her opinions. Plus her background in the entertainment industry would make her a good fit.
  2. Emily is an attractive woman, but she needs to lose 90lbs. All of it Shane. Also, Tamra calling someone out for lying? Isn't that like the pot calling another pot a pot?
  3. Well, for better or for worse, she is the last OG left standing in this version of the franchise...
  4. But if the ratings don't change much...then that means they weren't watching to start with...or, as link417 pointed out, they are hate watching...or are still watching but saying they aren't watching. It does seem like it's only the same couple of hundred people saying they aren't going to watch... I'm guessing quite well as there are an equal number of people who enjoy them and like them?
  5. I think she should have just been written out of the show for like half a season. The show would have to bite a bullet and pay her for those episodes anyway, but they could have had Andrea win some prestigious internship of whatever out of town for a few months (unlikely given that it was her freshman year, but not the most unrealistic thing this show has shown us). Have her still be involved with the TA and Jessie (newly sexually liberated Andrea plays the field and sees both guys at the same time), she gets a pregnancy scare, it freaks her out, she takes the internship to get away from all the drama of the pregnancy scare, for a bit, then comes back to the show. I know Gabrielle and the showrunners wanted to do a "What would it be like to have a kid while in college" story, but that honestly could have waited a few seasons.
  6. I like her too. Rinna can be annoying, but I do enjoy her pot stirring, even if she isn't as subtle at it as it LVP is. That's all on LVP, for walking away like a coward and not attending the reunion. Or as she herself said when Adrienne skipped the season 3 reunion: "I think you have to understand that when you sign up for something, it's a job, you know?" "The reunion is where you go and everything comes to fruition and you hash it out. And viewers want that the same way they want us to blog. . . So yeah, she got the hoof! She says she walked away, but she didn't. She got the big Maloof hoof! And you can quote me on that!" "...I think she should have come, cleared up the mess, and moved on.” But I guess the rules don't apply to LVP? It really isn't on Andy or Bravo to check these women for what some people might see as repungent behavior. Did they really? They mostly just called her out for leaking stories to the press. Is Garcelle a friend of Rinna? I thought only the other new girl was... That ship sailed after the first few years of the franchise. Even in season 1 of this show, the women were careful to cultivate the image they wanted to present of themselves. Camille hiding the fact that her marriage was imploding, Taylor hiding her abuse and shaky financial situation, LVP hiding...whatever was going on between her, Ken, and Cedric. Yeah, we did get the family stuff (and we still do), but this show has never been as real as it claims to be, even back in the early days. The realest moments seem to come out when things reach a boiling point and just explode (Kyle and Kim in the limo, Rinna and Kim in Amsterdam, etc), or when the HWs let us see what is happening with their family (the stuff with LVP and her son Max, Kyle dealing with her daughter going off to college, etc). In the end, a certain part of this has always been about the ladies doing their best to show us only what they want us to see, and trying to hide what they don't. That's one thing you can say about this version of the franchise, it has the best overall lifestyle porn of all the HWs shows. All the people hate-watching do keep adding coins to Andy and Bravo's coffers 😉
  7. Ha! Based on the ratings, I guess the answer would be "Not a whole lot of people".
  8. They still have their family stuff, their businesses to promote, their social lives, etc. What did LVP bring to the table that these women aren't? Yeah. From the start, this version of the franchise was basically rich(ish) women who (mostly) had some ties to the entertainment industry doing rich(ish) women things. Which it still is.
  9. They add new people almost every season, and people leave almost every season. I don't think they are depending on these 2 new people to save the show. You could argue Yolanda was the bedrock of season 6, and show carried fine without her once she was gone.
  10. The only real drop off was during the third reunion episode. Also, 3 of the 5 lowest rated episodes of the season were episodes 2, 4, and 5. Otherwise, there really is no real huge drop off. The ratings seem steady throughout the season. That ship sailed years ago...
  11. Of course not, but it does explain a bit to me about charisma, and how it is perceived on others...which I suppose at this point is way off-topic, and belongs on another website. Except we all know she is really giving it away for free...
  12. The colonial effect does linger in some countries, I suppose, even subconsciously. Staying on-topic (and away from LVP), here is a cute pic.
  13. fixed that for you ; ) I stand by my original statement 🙂 I have noticed Americans find English accents swoonworthy, for reasons that escape me.
  14. As long as the ratings hold and are steady, I don't think he really cares one way or another. The online world did the same thing once they found out LVP was done and gone, but ratings weren't affected at all.
  15. That's...not good. Kyle would have definitely tweeted something like this.
  16. Assuming any of this true, I could see Bethenny having already made her decision to leave, went in and threw out a price she knew they wouldn't meet, then said "No? Ok, I'm out of here".
  17. Which...had zero effect on the ratings for the rest of the season once she was gone. Even though all her fans promised us online they would stop watching. Doesn't she still have another show on Bravo? I never saw unending attacks. They were just calling her out as someone who leaks stories to the media. Which is old news on this show. It wouldn't be trashing, it would be commenting on an something that actually happened at one of her restaurants... Kyle not selling t-shirts with "Goddbye Kyle" on it would be the biggest missed opportunity since Sheree from Atlanta not immediately selling t-shirts saying "Who gonna check me, boo?"
  18. Characters on this did seem to (mostly) become more well-adjusted after they left County, no? I thought they had decent chemistry. Heck, I preferred them to the Carter/Abby pairing...
  19. Whether well known or not, that isn't the point. The point is someone mentioned how the series was bad now because of too many actresses haven been on recently or will be joining. The point is, there have always been actresses on this show since day 1.
  20. I thought she hooked up with Slade after Jeff died?
  21. It looks like she did end up getting a graduate degree once she and Simon moved back to Australia. Better late than never?
  22. Dorinda can be a nice, fun person to be around when she isn't drowning in booze.
  23. Danielle, The Jersey Devil. Or Jersey Devil: The True Story of Danielle Staub?
