I dunno, I think today, Charlotte would get called out for not offering Mulan to her daughter... While Miranda's "follow the white guy" comment was racist and cringy, the comment Charlotte made about the women in the nail salon wasn't...and if anything, things have gotten worse today in the US with regards to the "class system"....America definitely isn't the meritocracy is used to be.

Well, see pretty much all of season 4 (especially in Morocco and at the reunion), Aviva vs Sonja and Ramona in St. Barts, Ramona vs Kristen at the lake, Aviva vs Carole, Aviva's leg tossing...none of which Bethenny was involved in.

Yeah, it wouldn't be a long list of rich HWs before they joined the show. Kandi from Atlanta is probably one the few who could be called completely self-made. Granted, LVP and Adrienne from BH, Heather from OC, Jill and Kelly from NYC all had money before joining the show...but I can't say any of those women made their money completely on their own.

Arguably why she is one of the more successful HWs across all the franchises (in terms of when she started on the show and where she is now).

One of the better TV themed mash-ups that were opular a few years ago...Falcon Crest in MP style, and pretty good too. Also, having William Moses appear does make the 2 opening a bit more connected...

Seasons 2 and 3 are just pure fun soapy goodness. Some of my favorite TV ever. Season 1 is actually ok once Amanda shows up and the Jane/Michael/Kimberly triangle begins. Season 7 had good moments and was pretty decent overall. Seasons 4 are 5 are hit and miss (more misses than hits at times), while season 6...blech. I'd say most of the people are there more for Billy's sake than Brooke's. Though that still doesn't explain why Sydney was there. Darren Star? And they seem to have forgotten that Jo and Allison were best friends, not Jane and Allison. Season 4 Jo was just...sad. Despite how annoying they could be, and how wooden Andrew Shue is as an actor, they 2 of them had decent chemistry together and could be pretty charming at times. A retcon which just never worked for me. My advice is to just skip season 6 and go ahead to season 7, which is at least watchable and has some fun moments here and there.

I lobed RW during the 90s, but for some reason, this was probably my least favorite of the seasons from that decade.

She is vile and needs to go now. She isn't even enjoyable anymore in a bad reality-TV sort of way, she's just...bad.

But it was always like that, even from the beginning...RHOC in season 1 had both Vicki and Jeana promoting their respective businesses, Jill Zarin was promoting Zarin Fabrics in the first season of RHONY, Sheree from Atlanta was promoting her "dreadful" fashion line in the first season of RHOA...

I think Bethenny being who she is, she found what is in her view a more lucrative option and took it. I'll miss her too.

Ah well. I'll genuinely miss her, she was a nice part of the NYC puzzle. And who knows, maybe she'll be back again if her new ventures flounder and the show is still on... Wishing her good luck in her future endeavors.

I believe in the case of NYC, it wasn't a full cast trip, but just Carol and Dorinda. Now that I think about it, didn't the BH ladies go to Paris and not London?

I think I read somewhere the straw that broke the camel's back with the producers was her getting a haircut or new hairstyle without telling them about it beforehand. Supposedly, it was a problem as many scenes were shot out of order...

I thought Shannon looked good in her final season. I guess I'm in the minority on that...she looked so much better without the bangs.

Well, from the other shows, NJ had a nice trip to Milan a few seasons ago. Dallas went to Copenhagen last season. And Atlanta got to go to Barcelona last season. As for this show, I'd love to see them go Madrid, Stockholm, or Prague. But, since they did Europe last season, maybe some other continent, like go to Sydney or Melbourne, Santiago, Singapore... Didn't they already do London in one of the earlier seasons?
