I miss libraries the most and I find that I am buying too much books and I love technology but I draw the line at downloading a book.. I love having a physical book as opposed to a downloaded one.. I still have records CDS and cassettes that I refuse to get rid of..

I am so over Wendy and she has some big feet and those sneakers that she loves to show off do nothing but accentuate that...

Other talk shows have ironed out their kinks and are running smoothly.. The View should step up their game.. I too miss the movies, the libraries, museums, going to a restaurant, e.t,c.

I did not see the show today but how was it a mess. The ladies have been doing the annoying cross talk thing for years now. How was it even worst today?

Why does it have to be Ava's son, why can't Stefanie or Joey give them a story.. This is an unpopular opinion but I hate Tripp simply because he is Ava's son. The actor should have been cast as either Joey Kiriakis or Joey Johnson.

Every relationship is unique and every situation where infidelity occurs is different but I think a couple could overcome infidelity.

You are correct in saying that about Whoopie because she has admitted that she had had affairs in the past and I am in no way minimizing how painful to be cheated on by your partner but Sunny comes off self-righteous when she goes off about cheating especially since she has said many times that she would not divorce Manny over it.. If cheating is not a deal-breaker for her why does she bitch about it in the first place..

I was a bit irritated by Sunny 's stance that infidelity is the worst thing people could do. Whoopie had to remind her that it was not the worst thing in the world.

Heather was crazy before Ron wrote for her though. He did make her repulsive whereas in the past Heather was more nuanced even at her worst.

Did Ron write for All My Children? I don't remember..

I am happy for her but Days is not good with minorities and neither is Ron..

There was a purge in 2015 of so many episodes on youtube, it was a travesty. Some people have private youtube channels where you have to have a code to join. Orpheus was awesome in that way and Rojohn was not dumbed down like he was during the Kristen years for Orpheus to hatch his diabolical scheme. In fact, Rojohn figured out that Marlena was alive because of a videotape. It was an oversight on Orpheus part and it reminded us why Rojohn was a great detective. It is always the littlest things that bring criminals down because there is no such thing as a perfect crime by imperfect human beings. Stuff like that is missing on soaps, the heroes were not stupid for the villains to win. The villains were interesting but not at the expense of the heroes.

Don't forget Kristen used to change Brady's diapers, so Bristen has always been gross to me..

Thank you @Peanut6711 for posting that clip above. Orpheus was the show's best villain. He was not obsessed with Marlena, he wanted to hurt Roman for killing his wife and leaving his children without a mother.. I always thought that Orpheus being the catalyst for Marlena leaving the show was a great exit for Marlena who was beloved. I know people on this board hate Marlena but at that time she was the show's most popular heroine..

Lani is not in love with Ava so it would be easy for her to be team Allie.. Poor Eli, he has no idea that his wife is in denial..

I agree with you, Whoopie is a powerhouse actress but she sucks as a moderator.

We also had cars.. People drove in them and would have scenes. I loved party scenes the most: Halloween, Christmas, New Year's Eve, engagement parties and weddings..

The sets were big and luscious. We also had bars, restaurants, hang out places, the pier was also a great set... There were lots of extras and you got the sense that Salem was a big town...

Don't forget people had homes and there were location shoots outside that added to the stories..

Your bitterness mirrors my own and the 80's was the show's best decade, full stop. Dena created Ava and proceeded to shove her down our throats..

I am so jealous that you are watching the old episodes.. 1986 is one of my favorite years..

Perfect post regarding this stupid Ava plot and I have no intention on watching Ava Vitalli on my screen. Ron has made it easy for me to quit this show. I fear that I am not alone in this decision...
