  1. Antiques Roadshow is in Alaska, and they had a bunch of Bob Ross paintings. They talked about his time in the Air Force!
  2. I know I watched the first season, but I don't know if I got to close out the series.
  3. You'd think they'd want to get a permanent host by the conventions though.
  4. I wonder if some of the guests were offered and turned down hosting. I didn't think that most would have (like Chelsea, Sarah, Charlamange, Leslie) because they've already got active careers. I thought Kal Penn would have been a good fit though. The show has to be on for 2024 in some form being an election year.
  5. He must have been paid decent enough because they always went to the nuudieee bar!
  6. I watched it on Monday. I liked the venue they chose too.
  7. So glad to see Richard Lewis there to close out the show.
  8. If each were hungry enough to eat almost three; it's about half. I can buy that, after all the running around. Not normally coming in for lunch.
  9. It did look like they ate half, and they just played a lot of basketball. They would be hungrier than normal.
  10. I'd like if down the line Teddy just makes a quick remark how he is still being hired by the guy. Can the show (or tv) not say "pez" dispenser? They said something like "candy collection". Is like how you can't say kleenex?
  11. It's unnecessarily convoluted, but you just need the overall rate of sales and then times it by the hours the store was open on Tuesday.
  12. Snow Gun. Too much. I don't know if after such a long break going with the anthology is the right move. I wanted to see everyone from the town. Beef crying over the flag was funny though. Honeybee with the low key Spin Doctors line got a huge groan. I can't stand them.
  13. I liked that the kids were all in on rescuing Teddy, but Bob wouldn't let them. Brilliant idea to use the song to time the drive. This was really good for Bob. The double fake wall was genius. I liked the big burger too. Basically, they made a bunch of sliders. I'm surprised Bob hasn't made them before.
  14. What they thought the Old World Order was, or should be. We don't really know how Hawkwing ruled when he united the continent. They left the continent and basically remained static while the rest of society evolved, sort of. They're kind of a fascist society. They're an invading force. They ripped apart Falme and killed everyone who didn't bend the knee using their slaves. From that pov, I can understand them being characterized as evil.
  15. I think people were just honked off that TPTBs seemed to want to rush the end of the series and were just piling on at that point. I mean, they literally spelled it out with the Varys voice over, after we learned who Jon Snow really was - 'When a Targaryean is born, the gods flip a coin...' Well, there were only two left, and Jon was clearly the more stable.
  16. The joke was that Dracula listed out a very specific group of people to Renfield, and then they all showed up in that order in the cafe. Prior to that he was saying that the more 'innocent' the victim helps him recharge faster.
  17. I don't really care that much, but early 20 something women as companions aren't really relatable for me. I'm not the target demo too. I thought Ruby was fine though. The only character trait that turns me off is Mary Sue. They could add a second companion that's not contemporary too. We've had multiple companions as recently as Thirteen.
  18. "Hey, let's make shows people like to watch why not?" Covert Affairs though. We had a field day with that show over here.
  19. They had a great lineup in those days. Those were all just solid, watchable shows. They were episodic, but things happened so you had to watch each week.
  20. This movie was way better than it had any right to be. I enjoyed it so much. I thought the theme of co-dependency and dealing with a narcissist was a clever theme. I think they could have trimmed the crime subplot just a little to get a flashback in with Renfield and Dracula. I totally lost it when Renfield was in the cafe and he looked at the nuns and then out the window a bus full of cheerleaders rolled by. The gore played to me like a graphic novel or comic book. Preacher did that a lot. Some of the shots were almost panels.
  21. I liked the opening 80s late night cable theme opener. As soon as Randy piqued at the $10K a week, I knew where it was going, but I don't know if I needed to see it. I don't think why he thought Sharon wouldn't do better. Actually, just filling a few empty Cred bottles is a great scam. Just don't let anyone take it. I'm fairly active, and I was looking for an electrolyte drink powder, and it took *forever* to find something that didn't have caffeine and added sugars. I was really ticked because I found good energy bars with only a few ingredients but they had a ton of added sugars. I don't watch social media for influencers though. The special was really well done and showcases that the show still has vitality.
  22. Rudy is the best. I think they missed a big point on Amelia in that all the kids pitched in to put on the multimedia show. Even Gene was toned down.
  23. I don't know about feel sorry versus excuse her culpability at the expense of Homer.
  24. I wonder if anyone knew there was a new episode. I liked all the sports and prizes. One was an easy chair from the rock skipping. They were so hilariously dumb. As soon as I saw the doctored photos of Lisa, I knew it was Marge. And I knew SpartanGirl would be stalking the living room with her Heisenberg hat on! That is a long walk for a USC joke.
