  1. And how is that horrible grammar of hers good for a child to hear? Like a previous poster said she also repeats the same thing a hundred times. She and Paulie arguing with their "ain't got nobody" "nobody got my back" shit made my ears hurt.
  2. My husband is worried about the day that there will only be smart phones. My daughter and I text each other all day every day, I would say at least a hundred a day. We text about TV shows, what the kids are doing and just every day stuff. My son and I text a lot and I text one friend too but my daughter and I set records. She and I both hate talking on the phone and she's busy throughout the day, we're really close and texting is just our way of staying in touch. She comes over a lot too, both kids go to school right near my house so when she drops the older one off at school, she has 90 minutes until my grandson has to go so they come over every day. I don't know why I added that, just didn't want you to think our only communication was texting. So my point after rambling is that it's worth it to me to pay for the unlimited texting. Plus my phone is basically our house phone and its used to make appointments and stuff like that. My house phone never rings. If it does I know it's nobody I want to talk to.
  3. @backformore, when I had to eat them when I was a kid I would cut them into three pieces with my fork and swallow them like pills. That way I ate them and never had to taste the nasty things. I loved vegetables when I was a kid, my friends parents were always surprised when I'd ask for more broccoli or peas. @Bastet, I'm with you on brussels sprouts, I love them. There are so many different ways to cook them, I have them at least once a week.
  4. Which one was Dane? For the life of me I can't remember anyone named Dane. My memory sucks though.
  5. I'm going to watch. I can't help it, I like the show. I just started watching not too long ago but I think I've seen every episode now. It makes me laugh but then again I have the sense of humor of a 12 year old boy. Plus, I have a huge girl crush on Max.
  6. I have a Samsung smart phone and pay a flat $41 a month with unlimited data, text and calls. I would hate having to pay per text or call. @Bastet, my husband has an old flip phone too and he loves it. It only works now if it on speaker but he refuses to get rid of it. He wouldn't know how to work a smart phone if he wanted to, which he doesn't. I love my smart phone because with all of my hospital visits, being confined to bed and stuff like that, my phone is pretty much my computer. Every time I'm on here it's on my phone. It's easy to hold while lying down, it does everything a computer does and the 4G is cheaper than internet. I did resist getting a smart phone for a long time. When my daughter upgraded one of hers she talked me into getting rid of my flip phone and transferring everything to her old one. That way I could try it without having to buy one. I HATED it for the first couple of weeks. I complained to her that I missed my old, simple phone, the smart phone was too complicated and when I would try to answer the phone I always hung it up instead. After a while I loved it and I'll never go back to a dumb phone.
  7. Both John and Burke look down and to the left when they answer questions. I'm not saying that means anything it's just something I noticed.
  8. I'm confused, why would it cost you money if somebody texts you?
  9. Sorry, I have no clue why that spoiler box is there. I don't care if some people think he has some kind of syndrome or something, that smile on Burke is creepy as hell. He's not a kid, he's almost 30 years old, you'd think he would make an effort to not smile and laugh when speaking of his murdered sister. He should be making a major effort to not have a grin on his face. Bed wetting is also a defense for a child against a molester. They soil themselves to try to make them less attractive to the abuser.
  10. I love all fruits too and almost all vegetables except lima beans. I'm still, two days after reading it, trying to wrap my head around someone not liking any fruit. I like my bananas greenish, I refuse to eat one if it has any brown on it. Dark Bing cherries are my favorite fruit but I love them all. I love fruit so much that I have to have three fruit bowls on my table to hold them all.
  11. @wings707, I'm with you. I too have always thought Burke did it. I was watching closely and he was smiling actual smiles where they reached his eyes, if that makes any sense.
  12. @Maria Von Trapp, I just said in another thread (there are so many Jon Benet threads here now) that if it's true that Burke stayed in his room while everything was happening, shows me that he was used to being made to stay in his room while bad things were happening in the house. A lot of their life seemed like a big facade. I've read a lot that the non public rooms in their home were filthy, not just messy but filthy dirty. Patsy was an odd duck in my opinion. I don't know if anybody watched Burke's interview in Dr Phil today but he had a smile on his face the entire time. As he's describing when his father told him Jon Benet had died, he had a huge shit eating grin on his face. It was really creepy. I don't understand why people have a hard time believing the parents could have used the garrote. I read stories every day of parents doing horrible things to their children. I have to laugh every time I hear somebody like Patsy's friend saying that the parents aren't abusive. Her friend said something like "I have never seen any abuse", well duh. Abusers are sneaky people who are sweet and charming in public, they aren't going to abuse in front of somebody else. But NOBODY ever knows what happens behind closed doors. You never see friends or neighbors saying "yep, I saw a lot of abuse, I know something like this would happen" in cases like this, it's always " I can't believe he/she/they did this, I never saw any signs of abuse".
  13. Any piece of evidence could be twisted to meet any theory we may believe. I see a lot of evidence pointing directly at the Ramseys, others see it pointing at an intruder. Burke with his weird smiling at the wrong times kind of creeped me out. Who smiles when talking about the murder of their little sister? Him staying in his room while everything was happening, if true, to me shows that he was used to being made to stay in his room while bad stuff was happening in the house. Just my opinion. Edit: I just finished watching part one of the interview, why did nobody tell Burke to stop smiling so much? He had a huge grin during the entire thing, it was creepy. He's describing how he was told that his sister was dead and he has a huge shit eating grin on his face. So creepy.
  14. I know a lot of siblings who got physical with each other, it's just happens. They didn't literally beat me up but they got physical with me at times. And I didn't say it was OK, I just said it happens. No need to feel sorry for me, I'm fine. It's just what some siblings do. I didn't have it bad at all. In one of the threads here, I don't know which one because there are so many Jon Benet threads right now. Anyway, somebody was talking about the flashlight and said it didn't belong to the Ramsey family. How do we know that? Because they said it wasn't? That doesn't prove shit to me. Patsy laying out her pageant dress and crown for the Xmas tours is embarrassing. I'm still in the Ramsey's did it group.
  15. And my brothers used to beat the hell out of me. Just because one family doesn't do a particular thing doesn't mean all families don't. All people and families are different.
  16. I think what's off about Matt is that he's 43 years old and his mom still calls him "sweet angel". He seems like a total mama's boy. She seems like a nice lady but I bet she still buys his underwear and he can't make a move without consulting her first. Nicole with her " it's exciting....and stuff" is definitely this season's Dani and I can't wait to watch.
  17. I'm so confused. My guide says this is episode one and the description above is about people from a couple of seasons ago. Am I just being stupid?
  18. My 8 year old granddaughter is the exact opposite. She's always been the smallest in her class, even now in third grade she's mistaken for a kindergartner. She gets so mad when a teacher tries to make her leave the "big kid" playground and send her back to the "baby" playground. She's an avid reader and is very articulate which always surprises people because she's so tiny. The little girl with the birth certificate is named Kaylee, it seems like a few posters weren't sure of her name. I know this because she has the same name as my dog, and I have the same name as Kaylee's mom. I have no problem with the new format. I never watched Dance Moms so I can't compare the two. I watched one episode of Dance Moms and was appalled that the mothers stood by and watched that horrible woman emotionally abuse their little girls. As a previous poster said, the new format is pretty much the same as the old one, just with teams now.
  19. I haven't seen the last few episodes, so forgive my question but is Brianna's baby a little person or average size?
  20. They show the pageant tonight? I don't see it anywhere in my guide for tonight.
  21. That special was skewed in favor of the Ramseys. The production company has done previous pro Ramsey shows. The new mini series will be more impartial than the one that just aired.
  22. Great. Now that song will be stuck in my head all day. Gee thanks! Lol.
  23. I agree. Kids learn very quickly that if they throw a fit, they get their way. I taught mine that no means no with no exception and my daughter taught her kids the same way. It doesn't mean they were perfect of course but I can guarantee you that my kids were NOT the boss in my house. It's sad because even though it isn't her fault she's a raging brat that no kid will want to play with and no parent will want at birthday parties and events like that. I couldn't stand to be in the same room as Cadence but I feel bad for her. I kind of like Cambrie too, much more than the other "coach". The blonde mom with the big mouth and the finger pointing wouldn't last long around me. I hope this isn't taken the wrong way but after watching this season, the marathons a few weeks ago and the documentaries recently, has anybody else noticed that 99 percent of the pageant moms are...overweight? After I noticed I started paying more attention to the audience and the moms and was startled because I had never paid much attention to it before. I apologize if that is offensive to anybody, I tried to phrase is as delicately as I could.
