I was totally bored with the boat scenes except for the reveal of a male mermaid (merman?) I hate dark scenes to begin with but add the three stooges to the dark scenes and it's a no go for me. I wanted more of Maddie, Ryn and Maddie's dad.

Well, I AM Mormon and Erin's digs about Mormonism bugged me by the end of the first episode. She is mistaking being raised by crappy people for the beliefs of the Church. I've been a member my whole life and don't feel any of what she is talking about. Of course I've lived almost my whole life in New England and not Utah. Here in New England you can't even tell the difference between Mormons and non Mormons regarding style. Ya, we don't go for super revealing stuff but other than that we dress the same as everyone else. No Mormon I know would be caught dead in the lace dress.

I sure hope it does. Poor Kevin. As a kid he got a lot of the attention but as an adult now, he can't even get the time of day from his family. I think his addiction far outweighs the loss of a very new pregnancy and the loss of a foster child. Yes, each of those are sad and can take time to heal but addiction can affect so many people and can devastate entire families. I've had a miscarriage and I've also lost a living child. I have also been a leader of an addiction recovery group so I understand all of the losses being portrayed on the show.

Well, they went "there." All in all I like the wrap up. I'm not even totally upset about Vic & Longmire getting together. I really loved the scenery at the end. I might have loved that better than the show itself.

I don't mind whether we do per episode threads or one giant thread. I am binging however! My husband is totally different. He can watch one episode a week. He has so much will power that I don't have! I'm ready to start episode 5 as soon as my tacos are ready.

Senior Chiefs (E-8) and Master Chiefs(E-9) are called Senior Chief or Master Chief. They can be very picky about that kind of stuff. My husband is a retired Senior Chief. He was called either Senior or Senior Chief not just Chief.

I do think BJR is dead because Claire told him the date of his death in one of the previous seasons. Apparently she had seen it in the papers that Frank and the Vicar were looking at.
