  1. I'm doing a re-read right now of The Passage and then The Twelve. SO EXCITED.
  2. Yep, just re-watched that ep recently. They ate those dogs. :(
  3. I always enjoy these: http://www.thewalkingdead.com/10-ways-the-walking-dead-episode-611-was-like-the-comic/
  4. No wonder they are low on food.
  5. I completely agree with this. Her acting (to me) has gotten worse over years, and not better. Too busy posing for magazines to practice that accent, I suppose. Her expressions when she met with Gregory the first time were awful. Her default face was: :(
  6. While I agree it shouldn't have been here, you can't take all comic information as show canon.
  7. The reason was something like "misuse of a copyrighted character" or some such. If you check out TSDF on facebook, you'll probably see the post. I'm trying to step back from spoilers now (with Lucille coming up), but it's probably there.
  8. Re: Negan's "conversion" in the comics you allude to. I am caught up (mostly, some from the wiki pages), but I just can't figure out Negan's endgame. He's almost like the devil on Rick's shoulder, but I just don't imagine he's going to spend all the rest of his days in that basement. I bet Nicotero is busting at the seams for the Whisperers storyline. That might be some cool, new special effects.
  9. Watching this episode again (like in the good ol' days; this is my 3rd or 4th watching!). After seeing the the Jesus actor is british on Talking Dead last night, his accent on the show is very well done. Also, when Carl first sees Rick and Michonne come out of the bedroom and then again at the table in the kitchen...Chandler Riggs uses that one eye for some awesome emotion and movement. Hilarious. Xander Berkeley was also on Jericho for a bit; I don't remember the details. Wonder if he and Lennie James are pals at all.
  10. Yes. He's younger and the hair isn't quite as fluffy, but here's a picture about the same time frame if you want to see it: http://www.geeksandcleats.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/carl-shot.jpg
  11. Steven's Letter Hack was all in good fun I think. I don't understand that remark about Judith.
  12. That is so weird! How do we know that? Also, I remember the kids saying that Mikey's dad was weird about the pool table.
  13. The secret's in the sauce.
  14. Watching 6x08 again and Michonne's awesomeness slicing through the walkers to get Carl to safety. The feeling I get reminds me of the episode Home (I had to google) where the Gov lets the walkers come out of the truck in the prison yard. Where Axle dies, etc. Michonne knows Rick is outside the fence talking to GhostLori, and Hershel is out on crutches trying to reach Rick. She takes off across the field like this: http://media.comicbook.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/twd310_4.jpg to protect them. Gives me chills every time. Amazing! Her face is 6x08 is perfect, too. Love.
  15. In FPP's first episode when he was taking them back to his church, he made some joke about "maybe I'm not really taking you there at all. Maybe it's a trick to steal all your squirrels." And he does his hands a funny little way. I laugh at that every time. I guess he gave up on his weird sense of humor when no one laughed. Heh.
  16. This is random, and about an old episode, but I'm watching s6e01 again, when the zombies get out of the quarry, and when Morgan asks Michonne if she ate a protein bar of his, his voice is so shaky, and then she tells him "no." He seems so vulnerable and unsure of himself then. Next time he does something I hate, like not kill a Wolf, I'll go back and watch this episode.
  17. I'd love to see your blog! Would you share it or PM it to me?
  18. Daryl missing his crossbow isn't as jarring for me as Michonne was without her katana, but I hope he gets another one soon.
  19. I almost forgot, but I wondered a while back if they were going to put Sasha and Spencer together. Sasha is a sharpshooter like ComicAndrea, and Spencer liked her (of course, it didn't work out). In the comic, Carl has amnesia for awhile and asks for Lori upon waking (thank GOODNESS that didn't happen on the show, heh). I just scanned few a bunch of the wikipedia entries around that time (easier than reading through the compendiums!) and Carl does pretty well. The Hilltop and Negan begin the take front and center.
  20. I just can't see the show killing off Rick. At its core, it is his and Carl's story. No one on the show could replace him, IMO.
  21. Please no. I think this series has already shown us that they are not spinoff-capable.Also, I think that TV Eugene is weirder than the book version. I have a hard time seeing that relationship on the show.
  22. I saw Benny Hill is trending on Facebook. You weren't the only one with the idea! http://comicbook.com/2016/02/23/the-walking-dead-chase-scene-done-with-benny-hill-music/
  23. True. It will be interesting to see how the writers go. There are (theoretically) lots of big changes coming up.
  24. Perfect. Also, I think that windmill in the same one from Hershel's farm. :) /random eta: smaller image
  25. Maybe the most heartbreaking moment on that show. I was having an "a-ha" or "ohhhhh" moment as I read your bullet point #4, but then when you typed the quote, which I'd really not thought of in years... :( That would hurt (me). It would be very powerful, but I'm dying a little thinking about it. Like I said in the episode thread, I really cared about Daryl for the first time in a while in this episode.
