Count me in with all who think the 'reunion' was a great big fat waste of time. I don't get why there's the need for all things extraneous when there are multiple players sitting around (you know...the ones we actually watched) doing nothing. Saying nothing. What's the point? I hope the powers that be take note of this. I was for Wendell, too. I really like him and also love the friendship between him and Dom. I'd trade all this extra crap for bringing back America's favorite player or something. And yeah. Kevin Hart? Really? That show's already been done and I miss it. Bring back Wipeout.

That's what I figured, but my guess was Clark as I knew Lewis wasn't married. Burr wasn't even a thought in my mind.
-
Yes, I noticed it and mentioned it in my post up there somewhere :) Her name is Samantha Colley.
-
Nobody watching? Same woman who played Einstein's wife is Picasso's - mistress...whatever. I like it so far.

I agree, he was smart. I just don't like the "I'm better than the rest of you" mentality. I've seen it with other, older, bladesmiths, too, but his just got me last night is all.
-
I did, too. Yes, it has - and so am I! I credit this show and crossword puzzles ;)

All of this. All of it. My first clue he was going to be annoying was the fact that once again we have a grown-arse man cartooning up his name. Then HE STARTED TO TALK. I wondered, too, why doesn't someone come out at break and tell him he's got a mic on, we can HEAR YOU. I miss Jeopardy! of old.

I'm immediately rooting for the loss of anyone whose intro is "I can forge circles around these guys", especially coming from a teenager. Arrogance will get you (almost) every time.

Season Four Talk: Spring Baking Championship
illini1959 replied to GaT's topic in Spring Baking Championship [V]
I know, right? Why can't they just BAKE and see who executed the (normal) challenge the best, who decorated the best, which one tastes the best...? *Cheese* is for pizza not baking shows ;) -
Was it weird that at the beginning they said Scorpion HAD to be there - present in NO - because the conditions to release the mosquitos had to be "perfect" and they had to measure everything themselves but at the end, with seconds to spare (as usual), Paige just threw them out there? This Walter/Flo thing has got to stop. Sly Sly Sly!!
-
Amen to that! Yes! Terrible, horrible, no good, very bad! The only good part was my long (it felt long to me) national nightmare (Alan) is over. What is wrong with people lately? It's like the invasion of the Jeopardy! body snatchers. From contestants who might have been a better fit for Wheel of Fortune to the "judges" and their random "judging", clue writers who appear to be under the impression its perpetually Kindergarten Week, to Alex (enough said) it's just not the same :(
-
It makes me yearn for grown arse men (or women) who don't need to decorate their names on national tv :/ Or feel the need to mug for the camera, or board jump, or flail about with the clicker like it's a weapon, or... Well, nobody has time for all my "ors" lol
-
All of this ^ All of it.
-
Let us not forget the mugging to the camera, at least once - I don't think it was during the first intros but maybe going to or returning from a commercial.... There's a trend I hope dies a quick death. That, and brass hardware on HGTV but that's another board.....
-
Can we not have ONE week - heck, one DAY - without a French category for Alex?!?
-
I can't answer to the physics of the episode, but I didn't think the plane was that high...... When it took a while to even SEE them, I thought that was odd. They weren't falling from space. From the shots of them sighting the lighthouse it didn't look like they were that far above the ocean. Agree about the parachutes, but when did Scorpion (the show) ever take the logical/easy way out? ;) I suppose there wouldn't be a show if they did...
-
AT tries to frenchify everything :/
-
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! ;) We had tuna casserole growing up and, thanks to this clue/answer, my husband made one last night which I proceeded to eat half of.
-
I hear that. It's especially smack-worthy when he says it like he's praising a 3 year old for holding up 3 fingers when asked his age. (Good girl/boy! I'm surprised you knew that!)
-
It's getting to where I say that a lot. "If Alex wouldn't have wasted x amount of time doing <fill in appropriate time waster>" we could maybe, you know, finish the GAME. Double the annoyance factor if he does it with an "accent", French or otherwise.
-
The voice. Yes good grief. And how one of the homes, forget which, wasn't "royal" enough. I live in this area, the QA house is in my hometown :) and is on a block full of those older homes, gorgeous. I agree about the random use of architectural names. I've seen them label houses "Victorian" and wonder where do they get THAT? My daughter is having our granddaughter's first birthday party at the wife's business :O I recognized it immediately.

I wondered about the tip, too. I figured all the calculating at the end of the meal would somehow, to Bev, come down to a $2 tip lol.
