Yeah that part does bother me because Susan turning up alive doesn't change what happened in the first place. I actually thought Sarah had legit concerns and if she followed through that it was a dealbreaker I could respect that. However this show is lazy when it comes to their dynamic because it's Xander does something terrible Sarah shrieks and then gets past it rinse repeat. They're trying to recreate a younger version of the Victor/Maggie dynamic(and I didn't like that either tbh but at least they were old so it's a lot easier to take than this where Xander and Sarah are viable to be in other pairings/storylines).

I figure actors hopefully talk beforehand what makes them comfortable vs what doesn't when it comes to that sort of thing.

Brady Brady makes me think of SATC when Miranda named her kid Brady and she and Steve were fighting over his last name etc and I think they decided on Brady Hobbs-Brady. This I agree with but Xander did gaslight Sarah when she rightfully questioned what happened with Susan etc. One of them as to fundamentally change for this pairing to work long term. Otherwise they really are Eric/Nicole. That being said I like Xander/Sarah scenes more than Eric/Nicole when they're in couple mode. I think they should just make Xander/Sarah parents with benefits because they don't work long term it just makes Sarah look bad.

Yes she told this to Eric, Shawn, and Rafe in the past. A few of us speculated it could've been Harris at the time but obviously it wasn't him. The sad thing is previous versions of Stephanie weren't like this at all. There was one that was a race car driver and another that worked at Titan with Phillip and this version is nothing like either of them at all except that she has her own career.

I wish they developed Stephanie as a character better than just tossing her with a love interest right away. This show has no idea how to write for below 50-year-old heroines without them being shrill, mean etc. I feel like Chanel might be the exception but with her they do the bare minimum.

That's never going to happen(unless the show ends) which is fine there should still be rivalries. Although I would say when AS left Days back in 2014 it seemed that they ended on a good note then that was undone when Sami returned.

I think they wanted to do that as a wink nudge to the audience that a child of Nicole's is named after a woman she despises. At least when Eric was named after his creepy uncle it was before we knew he was awful. They should've just written him off with Gabi tbh. She's the only character that made him viable after that Gabby/Abby storyline which made the character DOA. That's fine but my point is the show built it up better than this one. It's not like it came out of nowhere. Which is the problem with a lot of the current storylines they just go from point A to point Z and expect the same dramatic effect by just telling the audience instead of showing them. Which is why when it was exposed that there was an actual payoff with Nicole/Sami that this storyline won't get at all.

Nicole did the same to Sami but at least I understood her motivation. The problem with this is that it's set up very poorly. Which makes everything else about this story terrible.

Hard pass JJ was emasculated enough as is. Fortunately this show forgets he exists half the time so yay me.

He bothers me more in this story than Stephanie does. Yeah Stephanie leaves a lot to be desired but at least the actress seems like she's doing her part. Even Alex is better despite being a sleaze. Chad? I get absolutely nothing out of him. I do think in family scenes BF is fine but romantic scenes I haven't found him remotely believable since 2015 early 2016.

If she did this to Rachel/Mackenzie I would at least understand it however this has zero motivation and Melinda being a POC will be thrown under the bus for this.

I'm surprised considering she's like the only person for nearly 30 years who has consistently been around the show without leaving in between. That being said I don't think it's as big a deal as people are making it I mean there are lots of actors on this show with that status and we see them quite frequently.

Yeah I'm one of those people. I rather J&J and JJ not return to this show unless Days ends and we see them one last time. Otherwise I rather they stay gone(along with Bo/Hope etc)

If this was Kristen I could've seen Melinda do this. She took my child I take hers. However Nicole is a reach in this instance.

When a character has been married multiple times, there's no point in getting fancy for the wedding. Sloane is another story but the outfit fits her character so it didn't bother me as much.

Yet he kept it till his death so I don’t buy that was the only reason. Lots of actors have stage names.
