Like Sand Through an Hourglass: Behind the Scenes of DOOL
CanaryFan98 replied to OnceSane's topic in Days Of Our Lives
Ken sued her not the other way around and while that’s surprising they got past that soaps were in a better place then. If she sued him she wouldn’t be welcome back. Now it’s a dying industry and Ken owns the show. Yes I think he’s spiteful enough to do that. He let it get to this point to begin with -

Forget soaps no other entertainment program will entertain her after this. Then again Hollywood isn’t the behemoth it used to be so maybe a change will come -

I could see GT in the role but would she want this mess? -

The fantasy has long been ruined thanks to the Internet anyways. They could recast Nicole hell they might already have with Anna Lyn McCord in that mystery role. That would be the only way an Ericole reunion happens. -

Ari as Nicole is never coming back because she's suing the show and Corday. That bridge is burnt. The others have a shot if they don't join the lawsuit. Nope most of us think this. I thought for years that the soaps should just film BTS instead of what's on screen. Way more interesting. -

Someone mentioned on another board they didn’t get along. If true they were professional. -

Ken owns the show I would be surprised if he didn’t cancel it out of spite. -

Brandon is Jewish so that would be bold on her part if it’s her. This Alarr drama happening during Black History Month is something -

Maybe but Days tapes well in advance for all we know they were already aware this would happen. -

Now I wonder if Anna Lynn McCord is a Nicole recast. -

They will probably do that or cancel the show. Corday owns it and he would probably do it so he doesn’t have to pay her etc -

Evil Twins: Days Stars in Other Roles
CanaryFan98 replied to Rick Kitchen's topic in Days Of Our Lives
I enjoyed her stints on Murder She Wrote and the Christmas movie she made with Danica McKellar a few years ago. -
I don't know any young folks watching soaps these days and if they do I think they were watching GH for Spencer/Trina. However for Days? I don't see young people caring as much about soaps like they did in the past. Most of them were fans because they grew up watching the soap with their mom (I am an example of this). How many kids now can say the same? I'm not opposed to love scenes but most of them are so empty and lacking chemistry. They used to be able to build up the sexual tension, have a slow burn etc. Instead it's rushed and they have given very little reason for the audience to care.

I wonder this too but he fits more with the Horton’s at this point
-
I like that Maggie has taken Doug/Julie along with Chad and the kids in. She's always going to be a Horton despite being married to Victor this past decade. Also Steve/Kayla going down memory lane for V Day. I'd be more excited about EJ/Nicole if they weren't DOA
-
I admit I am curious about the story Julie is going to tell Thomas/Charlotte. Probably because I am expecting a Doug cameo.😭

Yeah I expected worse especially after Victor's last scenes. -
Yet it's sadly on brand with this show especially if Ron is writing it(although I can't blame him for the trash budget of this show).
