  1. I know this is strange to say but Rafe is one of the few characters right now I don't have an issue with. I'm sure that will change soon enough but he's far down the list of issues I have with this show.
  2. This is going to make me ugly cry(the last Doug/Julie scene) I sincerely hope this is Doug's last scene it sounds better than what Victor got. Hall ♟️ Monitor on X: "Bill & Susan's final scene from Jason47 😍😭 #Days https://t.co/bx8OFVsgf9" / X (twitter.com)
  3. The last scene Doug/Julie will have will probably make me ugly cry Hall ♟️ Monitor on X: "Bill & Susan's final scene from Jason47 😍😭 #Days https://t.co/bx8OFVsgf9" / X (twitter.com)
  4. That would be interesting if it led to a more interesting story but that's very unlikely so..
  5. Even though I never cared for Lumi this really was the best-case option for both characters. They aren't going to recast Sami and AS doesn't want to stick around long term. They also have no interest in Lucas sticking around long term. I mean I don't get the point of an EJ recast if they aren't going to legit commit to him in a long-term pairing beyond Sami. I have grown to like Dan in the role too but we know he and Nicole are DOA(and I like them together). He's just on standby until Sami returns(if she does) which isn't really fair either commit to the character or write him out. It's a shame this show doesn't care for BD/Lucas as a long-term character when so many actors don't really want to stick around he does and comes from the original family of Salem no less.
  6. There's a reason why the younger set hasn't caught on like previous generations. They don't know how to develop these characters beyond their love lives.
  7. I've been catching up on Doug clips and here are a couple (1) Daily Days Of Our Lives on X: "Bill Hayes returns as Doug. (January 1993) #RememberingBillHayes #days #DaysofourLives https://t.co/5F5UjM1Yxf" / X (twitter.com) Jane on X: "Doug with Addie after the birth of Hope. Doug chose Hope’s name, January 1974. #RememberingBillHayes #BillHayes #Days #ClassicDays https://t.co/b927og3YkN" / X (twitter.com)
  8. I hate that Sloan was wasted on Eric. She probably would've been better off with Alex. Sure he's a dudebro but at least he's an honest one and Sloan didn't seem pathetic with him.
  9. She was a recreational user but when they paired Theresa/Brady together all those years ago they had her go to a meeting where she met up with Brady and the rest is history. Onscreen though it wasn't portrayed like it was with Brady.
  10. I agree with you Brady and Lucas are the only ones that consistently struggle and it's very believable. Eric/Jennifer's were plot points for both.
  11. A clip of Bill in a Rodgers and Hammerstein production The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization on X: "We're saddened to hear about the passing of the oldest original cast member of a Rodgers & Hammerstein Broadway production. 🤍 Bill Hayes played Larry in the original production of Me and Juliet in 1953. To honor his memory, listen to him sing "You Are Never Away" from Allegro. https://t.co/1BorrZ6yIh" / X (twitter.com)
  12. Since they didn’t do that with Victor I don’t see Doug faring better tbh
  13. Yes this is how Days should be written unfortunately Ron will return because the strike is over and it will revert back to form.
  14. Yeah there were people upset about that also. I have Peacock and I didn’t bother to watch.
  15. I don't know if it matters at this point considering that the end is near for all these soaps. If there wasn't Peacock Days would've already been cancelled.
  16. He last airs sometime in May. Although I'm trying to think of what significant event happened in May for Doug/Julie. These past few years they trotted Bill/Doug out for special occasions.
  17. Yep I think GH does a good job with their older characters. You don't see Robert, Anna, or Laura busting down bad guys the way they used to but they use their brains and let the younger set do the action. Days for some reason doesn't think this way. I'm glad they still have vets front and center but they need to have more realistic stories for them.
  18. Tim Dunleavy on X: "Bryan Cranston wrote this comment on the Deadline obit for Bill Hayes. It's a wonderful remembrance of a wonderful, dedicated actor. #BillHayes #Days #DaysofourLives #DOOL https://t.co/cBgRF5iX6v" / X (twitter.com)
