  1. Happy Holidays, y'all. Go on and ring in that New Year! ๐ŸŽ†
  2. Kody initially loved the O.G. NOT AT ALL. I believe him when he said something to the effect of acting out "in love" due to his religion. Moreover, they had gotten the show and THEY ALL wanted to prove polygamy was a viable familial set up. What a scam, and they're all lying liars who lied. ๐Ÿ˜‰ To this day Janelle is still flapping her gums about either going back to Kootie or even entering another family! This is after them failing miserably. ๐Ÿ˜“ Kootie is a narcissist and narcissists only truly love themselves. Everything else is smoke and mirrors. ๐Ÿฅฑ
  3. I hope they're having a grand old time! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
  4. Oooh, I liked seeing them be filmed together as it was quite eye-opening! Granted, Kootie sucked up all of the air in the McMansion while they were filming this piece, but Robyn's body language was priceless! ๐Ÿ˜ณ I don't get the feeling she was acting, either. I wonder what piece of matching joolry she and Kootie got for themselves afterwards as a self-soothing reward for getting through that session? ๐Ÿค”
  5. Well, the hunch I have is that back in the day Meri was crushing on Robyn so bad that she could've sopped her up with a big 'ol buttered biscuit. ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿงˆ Yeah, yeah, showing myself out, now! ๐Ÿฐ
  6. I wonder if Robyn, knowing that Kootie and Company may have a TV show in the making, believed that the Brown family paying her bills from her divorce was justified in that she would bring in the drama, bring on the funk as the newly crowned, brand-new 4th wife. Wasn't one of the conditions that TLC put forth to Kootie is that he would be taking a 4th wife? If so, then perhaps in Robyn's eyes she would've then pulled her share of the initial deal of getting TLC money flowing into the family coffers? Robynโ€™s plunking her bills on Janelle's desk has never bothered me as much as her other shenanigans, like the wedding dress manipulation, or not allowing the OG wives to babysit her tenders, or going on not only one but two honeymoons. I mean, she had to sleep with Kootie; that would've been a deal breaker for yours truly. ๐Ÿคข๐Ÿคฎ
  7. It could also be that some member from their church or community had leftover fabric scraps that they would give to Meri to make those familial Christmas pajamas. I don't recall where Meri said she got the fabric, but I do recall them indicating times were lean back then. Didn't one of the original children mention drinking hotdog water for a meal and sometimes going to bed hungry? Don't know how believable all of that is but if true then they were far poorer than I originally thought.
  8. I think Kootie shot it straight when he said he's angry over how he believes Christine turned the kids against him when she left. He doesn't love her or miss her, but Christine is the gateway mom for many if not most of the nonRobyn kids. Meri's checked out, Robyn is a friend to NO ONE, and often Janelle comes across as disinterested. When Christine left many of the kids agreed with her decision. Not saying there weren't other events and repercussions going on to help drive this, but the crap really hit the fan, then. Kootie is pretty uncomplicated, which is why Robyn shuts him down in conversations so often. When he tell us what he is or what he's thinking, I think we can believe him.
  9. Question. Will Christine's upcoming wedding eppie threads be located in this forum, or due to that she's no longer a sister wife will the topic thread be posted elsewhere?
  10. I really like Maddie and I could be wrong but I thought her remark about the Christmas P.J.s was indeed towards Meri and therefore a little unkind. She and her meltdown with Meri has been a while ago, now. Maddie's life is brimming with successes such as hubby, kids, a nice home, and Plexus cash. Clearly she's proved Meriโ€™s old assertion wrong. You've won, Maddie. Let it go. That particular character flaw is this family's hallmark, the inability to let go.
  11. Ya know, the pre-wedding kiss Kootie and Robyn shared didn't bother as much as this wedding dress event. If I'd been on that couch I'd been thinking to myself to never trust Robyn again. It was such a slap in the face to the OG wives and showed what a snake Robyn really was.
  12. Couldn't agree with you more. These two have a family to feed and business to profit from. Bottom feeders, the both of them. ๐Ÿ˜’
  13. Which brings me to a thought I've had for the past few years. Why DOES TLC keep this trainwreck on the air? Many say it's for the money, but could this show possibly bring in that much revenue? Or, is there a more sinister reason? For example, maybe someone or some group behind the scenes is attempting to normalize a lifestyle in this country that is absolutely horrible to the women and treats the children as disposable? Where every single relationship is run like an accountant's ledger, debits and credits duly noted at the bank of the reigning patriarch? And when the jerk gets tired of them, he puts them out to pasture to be alone and lonely for the rest of their days. Sitting on the front porch with her sisterwives, indeed. What a load of crap! Then, we have the women. Sorry, but I've yet to see a group of happy or even happy-adjacent, sisterwives. And even though I despise Robyn, not one of these women are innocent of evil-doing against the others, including her. I also can't stand Kootie, but I believed him when he said that the wives talked bad about one another behind each other's backs to him. Cause what else do they have to use as legal tender or a power source in this dynamic, other than having babies and turning over their welfare checks? So, if we the viewing public see this disfunction enough, will we become desensitized to it and finally relax our laws against this horror? I hope not. Finally, they're the kids. These poor kids, having to learn through social media how bad this situation is for them, what narcissists Kootie and Robyn are, and the levels that their own mothers had to go to in order to keep their place in that sick pecking order. I'm sure there'll be plenty of therapy sessions in their collective future. Furthermore, I'd place a bet that generally many polygamist families are run in the same manner, with a narcissistic patriarch and a viper's nest full of wives. I'm shocked that any of the women have the willpower to leave these cults. When I began watching this show all of those years ago I was already biased against polygamy. And, after watching and learning of all of the lies, the backstabbing, the dirty deal making, and the shenanigans among these people, I firmly believe that polygamy should remain illegal, forever and ever amen! The powers-that-be can allow Kootie to coast through the tell-nothings, allowing him alone to direct the narrative. Suki in charge? I think not! They can allow Robyn to lie straightfaced on t.v. and not call her out on it, and they can let the others get by with their assorted shenanigans without any consequences and repercussions, but I for one am paying attention. I not buying it. AND, I (and probably her aunt, also) am awaiting Christine's apology to all of the monogamists that she mocked and made fun of throughout the years. Don't worry, I won't hold my breath. Rant over. ๐Ÿ™„
  14. Christine wanted to be treated like a princess and along with that she wanted to receive romantic love from a man. Ergo her Vegas castle had its turret and she wore her princess dress to the commitment ceremony. Was she proud of her plyg royalty status? Perhaps, but it certainly didn't pay any dividends with Kootie. I think what Christine really meant to say in the show's old introduction was "I would happily take on a family but what I really want is a man." Unfortunately for her, Kootie wasn't gonna be that man.
  15. Heh. Christine would still be with Kootie if he'd paid any attention to her at all. Same for Janelle, if he had kept his ego in check and he gave a crap about her kids.
  16. Although I believe Robyn lied about taking the test, I do believe she made a valid point regarding Christine taking that test with her in mind. Back then, Christine was obsessed with all things Robyn, and I could see her taking the test using her own perceptions of how Robyn would answer in an effort to get insights on how to handle the Robyn/Kootie situation.
  17. I think he's on steriods which make his issues even worse.
  18. Well, Robyn, it's lonely at rock bottom. ๐Ÿคจ
  19. And what does those scores equal? LOSERS!!!
  20. Heh. Robyn's test score was 6.6.6. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  21. Christine should talk. I believe a large part of her jealousy issues with Robyn was that Robyn was strong competition for her in the drama department.
