Considering how Mykelti and Tony acted during their wedding planning, I can understand why Maddie and Caleb, and Aspyn and her husband, were treated differently.

I think Mykelti is doing it in part to get back at her mom, whatever the reason. Perhaps Christine (off camera) has still not benighted Tony "favored son inlaw" status. I believe that Christine is still not crazy about Tony. I don't trust Mykelti as far as I can throw her.

At least the neighbors can be thankful that that monstrosity of a house won't be built! Flagstaff deserves better.
