  1. Is this the first season where NO ONE had sex before D Day? Or, did that start last season? The producers must be really sweating - they have nothing to show except for 2 boring couples (soon to be 3), who have zero chemistry. The other 2 couples don't even speak to each other. Now, I will try to watch the Afterparty on my lifetime. But, I have never been a fan of Emily's and she is showing her desperation by clinging to Brennan, who is not nice to her. ETA - OK - after signing in 4 times and still not getting in, I have decided it is not worth it. So, thanks to those who supplied details.
  2. Well, the results are already on this thread if you want to know.
  3. To me, Austin hasn't gone for it because he knows they will not be married for long and he doesn't want to look like the jerk who took advantage of the situation. Same with Brennan. Austin and Becca are definitely in the friend zone. I doubt if any of the others will even speak to their spouses after D Day.
  4. I have seen several complaints about Paulina's cancer diagnosis being a spoiler. I don't understand that one - if they are reading spoilers, then they want to know, right? Would it be better to say that Paulina gets her diagnosis? Considering that most of us really don't care since we know she will beat it. But, if it makes her save her voice for a few months, then I am all for that! LOL - maybe she could borrow a voice box from one of the infamous masks?
  5. Also, I think Jason 47 mentioned that.
  6. Theresa's FAMILY has money. She is a screw-up and sneaky and not trustworthy. Why would her FAMILY give her money? She will do anything to get money that she hasn't earned or come by on her own, as we see now. They all know that about her.
  7. The problem is, this is NOT out of character. Brennan has stated that her drunken party behavior, even with him, is a real turn-off. She has stated how she likes to party, and he did make a comment on the Afterparty that he didn't like it, so I do believe she did that. I do hope he was able to fend her off. I do agree that he should end it. NOW. I am sure the show knows about it and they are probably begging him not to quit now because then no one would make it to D Day, which, would actually be a first. And, hopefully, a last.
  8. I saw most of it and I realize why the show HAD to have Michael come back. They are down to two boring couples who have no chemistry. But, I am already bored with Chloe. She seems nice and normal and therefore, nothing interesting. I am still not sure about Michael, but he certainly isn't anyone I would be attracted to. Did they say where they are in the timeline and if they will have the same D-Day as the others? Do they get a honeymoon? I really want Clare and her phony tears to go away. She has no feelings for Cam, but just doesn't want to be seen as the villain. Too late. If Emily really did what was stated above, and I tend to believe that, then the only issue I have is that Brennan hasn't called it quits. She needs to try to retain some dignity, which is kind of too late, and let it go. I don't know why Austin is still putting his arm around Becca, etc., but he needs to stop so she isn't completely blindsided.
  9. At least in Arizona, MAFS is on at the usual time for 90 minutes, followed by the new Prison Brides show for an hour, and THEN the 30-minute Afterparty. I had seen ads for the new show and wondered how they were going to start them on Wednesday night. I am not sure if this will be the same across time zones, but just thought I would mention it.
  10. If Theresa needs that much caring for, is she going to have a damaged face so we will see Gwen back again and a new face for Theresa, who has clearly been around for longer than the supposed 12-week storyline?
  11. I never understand why the participants insist of having exactly the type of people they want, which, clearly, hasn't worked for them. Why would the "experts" waste time finding people like the ones they already have experience with and it hasn't worked? As I have stated before, SOME THINGS are critical and have to be considered; other, more superficial, requests should be ignored, and if the participant is so hung up on what color eyes or how much hair, then they aren't ready to be married.
  12. I do agree that, of course, couples with differences in many things, like religion or race, even political affiliation, do and can have a happy relationship. The difference is that those couples know each other and have determined that their feelings outweigh the differences. In this case, these couples have no say, since we have seen people paired with people with preferences they have clearly expressed that they don't want. Many of the characteristics they have requested on their Santa list seem very surface level, such as no bald men, or a certain body type, and when they are paired with those types, SOMETIMES it doesn't matter. But, if you are talking about religion, choice of whether or not to have kids, and even pet preferences, THOSE are significant core values and should be respected.
  13. She doesn't have to be a Kiwi - she can be American! But, yes, he will find himself with many kind and lovely options.
  14. I caught bits and pieces of this when I woke up and it was on again after midnight. I might try to watch today, just to understand the whole going to hell thing. It is hard to watch Becca's ever-dwindling hopes. But, Austin, at least seems to be affectionate (at least on camera or with the group). He is not afraid to touch her (well, completely clothed). I hate that Emily is still holding on to some kind of hope. They need to end it, as well. I wish she would stop making those goofy faces. She isn't happy, so stop trying to smile! We used to think that couples would get an extra check if they said yes at D-Day and lasted until the reunion. This time, I don't know if any of them will even make it to D-Day! I am pretty sure the show can save the champagne this season. Or, maybe that's the new bar - champagne all around if they wait until D-Day to say they want a divorce! Re: Cam and Clare. Seriously, they bring out Orion and Lauren for guidance????? WTH? At least with Michael coming back, that will probably be the last we have to use the losers as filler. At least I hope so. We will spend a lot of time with the new couple catching up for lost time. Their story is, at least, a little interesting. Last week, Cam was on the Afterparty and told how Clare was not nice to him at all, off camera. I did believe him. This week, Clare said that he never told her that he was attracted to her, even though he said it to everyone else. She also said that SHE had initiated sex at one point, and he rejected her. She said he said, "Eeewww," but when KNP followed up and asked if he really said that, she didn't answer. So, I believe Cam 100% and I still think Clare is a cold, manipulative shrew who thinks she is better than all of us. I don't believe her when she said she has cried a lot and I didn't believe her tears last night. She may be sad that it didn't work, but she is NOT sad at not being with him. He said that every time he has had enough and is ready to leave, she throws him a little bone, like, "I would miss you if you left." So, he stayed. Unlike Orion, I am 100% certain that Cam will have many, many options after this show. Whatever formula this show is using to select and match people needs to be overhauled. Completely. I wonder how many new viewers they are getting as they lose the longtime fans.
  15. It's not on for another 90 minutes here, but, I think reruns of Everybody Loves Raymond might be my viewing pleasure for this evening. Thanks for the heads up. Actually, @kristen111, I think this show gets a little bit worse every season, because for the past several we have been saying that each season is the worst. Sounds like we will say it again.
  16. They have made references to Brady being with Tate "out there" on vacations that we have never seen, but they wanted to show what a loving and involved parent he is.
  17. @Elizzikra, you bring up a good point. One of the reasons I won't watch Kevin F is that he has lost all objectivity and goes after the people he doesn't like (who often are people the viewers DO like, as when he went after I forgot the husband's name, but his wife was that horrible Hailey). But, your comment suggested that Keisha was doing the same thing. Granted, I would say there is not much argument that Orion was awful and it WAS good that she didn't give him any wiggle room, but now I have to wonder if I don't like the way they facilitate if they disagree with who I like. The point is, the host/facilitator should be even and fair and ask tough questions of ALL of the participants if they are going to continue with this Afterparty.
  18. So, this season we have religion as the deal breaker, which, if true, is a legitimate concern that should have been addressed during the selection process. Some people don't care about religion, others do. So, if that wasn't discussed during the screening process, that is on the show for the failures. Just one more stupid thing they use for drama. For some reason, we seem to not have pet/no pet drama this time. I miss the dogs!
  19. So, rush-to-judgment new cop is going to haul off Tate for holding the bag of drugs that Holly took. And Tate is going to prove his love by saying that they are his now? I agree that I have no interest or feelings for either of these new characters. The writers, using the term loosely, really went lazy on this. And, of course, when Holly wakes up, she will let him take the hit for her, because we don't know her to be any different. All they have shown to us is a selfish, spoiled teenager. I am glad that Sloan is going to crumble, but I wonder if they end up putting her in jail or if she otherwise leaves. Also, will it be in pieces - first, she admits it is Nicole's baby, and we don't find out about Eric being the father until later, after EJ has bonded with him?
  20. I didn't mean to imply that Drake is too old to work. It's great that he and the other "mature" actors want to keep working. The problem is that putting him/them in active spy-type stories is not realistic (not that much in this show is, but, I think there could be more appropriate, but still interesting stories for him).
  21. Stefano is dead; Victor is dead; there is ZERO reason for John to be anyone's pawn again - especially Konstantin's. I don't want to see John acting on someone's evil wishes. He is too old. Not that he can't have a story, but not this one. He and Steve can find missing people or some minor cases, but no more ISA, no more destruction of the world, none of that crap. Also, I believe that Sloan deserves every bit of unleashed Leo as he can spend. I guess it is good that he is getting his gossip column back, but there is really no need for him, either. But, I know that doesn't matter, since Ron loves him. Why does this show insist of featuring that awful Paulina in big stories? I hate her story and I don't care that she may be sick. We know they also love her, so she won't die. The whole idea of her being the mayor is ridiculous, just as ridiculous as it is for EJ to be the DA.
  22. I don't know if he still hosts, but Kevin Frazier is/used to be a host on Entertainment Tonight. Is that still on??? I did actually like him when he was on MAFS at first. Then, he began to stop being a journalist and start giving his bias and opinion and not interviewing the cast with any objectivity. I am not interested in his opinion.
  23. Since I already know the results, I have no need to watch Kevin F and/or other people I don't know or care about give their opinions. The good news is that it is almost halfway over. The bad news is that it is only halfway over.
  24. Maybe they are waiting for the stupid Teresa plot to be done and then they can slap a dark wig on Emily O'Brien and recast her as Ciara?
