  1. Jennifer, Abigail, Maggie, Eric, Daniel, Jordan, Ben I'd keep Brady, but only if he's drunk all the time. Jen and Maggie used to be favorites of mine a LONG time ago, but now they're annoying busybodies. John is pretty useless, but if he keeps annoying Marlena and pushing Brady to drink, we can keep him around. Jack, Tony, Bo, Ava, Steve, the psychiatrist who was treating Steve in the mental hospital, Doug Julie was a lot less annoying with Doug around, and Doug could always be counted on for a musical interlude. Jack, Steve and Bo (the three musketeers) have endless plot possibilities, and might even make Hope, Kayla and Adrienne interesting again. We need another shrink in Salem, and Steve's doc was terrific. Ava could be her patient!
  2. Nothing will ever top the "Wanchu Ferry" product placement. Caroline Brady, who runs an Irish pub and does all the cooking, pimping a frozen Chinese food dinner!? And then there was the broom, which just appeared in the corner of the pub for no reason. At least this one was set elsewhere.
  3. Or, if Nicole, who's no stranger to lying, had just been BETTER at it! She could have claimed that the bag of shredded documents had been sent to her at the tv station anonymously, and that she was trying to put it back together. And gave up when it was just too hard. She could have gotten away with that, no problem.
  4. Hope isn't the best cop in the world; she's the best cop in SALEM, which is a low, low bar indeed.
  5. AZ is probably the best actress on the show, and I love Nicole despite the writing. It's a tribute to her acting ability that she's able to remain even somewhat sympathetic. And I hate Marlena (who I used to like back when she was with Don Craig and then the original Roman), so seeing her suffer because of Eric's relationship is just an extra thrill.
  6. My guess is that they'll say Lysa commited suicide. Everyone knows how unstable she is, so I'm sure Littlefinger can come up with a plausible "reason" why she would do it.
  7. They're just playing TOO hard this season. Tony should have waited another week before voting out LJ. Now he's in an alliance of five, against an alliance of three. If one of the three finds the idol, and Tony's group doesn't split the votes correctly, one of his five is gone. That's assuming that the five stay together, which is far from certain given how untrustworthy Tony has just proven himself to be. And all it takes is ONE member of his alliance to flip and they're tied.
  8. LJ played his idol for Tony last week, so he wouldn't have been "voted off" even if they had voted for him.
  9. I really don't understand why they targeted Morgan, the goatiest goat there ever was. The only person who SHOULD have wanted to get rid of Morgan is Cass, who's vying for the goat spot. But I don't think Cass sees herself as a goat. Once again, I think Cass' best move would have been to tell Spencer that she couldn't vote with them, but that they're targeting Morgan, so if he has an idol, that's who he should give it to. I doubt that Spencer would have believed her, but when Morgan was voted out, she would have been vindicated. And if he did believe her, Tony would be out and the idol would be gone. Win win for Cass!
  10. I think it's premature to come to that conclusion. There's still time in the next episode for this to happen. Have they said that warging was unique to Bran? Bran is the BEST warg (he can warg Hodor!), but clearly there are other wargs (including Orrel). I thought it was the greenseeing that was unique to Bran. Jojen said something like this about Bran's "dreams" in the show. Jojen has some of this ability, too, but Bran is WAY stronger.
  11. I'm not sure that would work. If Jon Snow isn't dead at the end of ADwD, it's only because of his ability to warg into Ghost. And I can't imagine that Bran would help Arya in her assassin training (where warging into the cat helped her when she was blind). I'm not sure what they have planned for Bran, but I don't think this is it.
  12. I thought it was Jackson. Drake wouldn't have recognized the jeweler; he came in to make his complaint after Drake left the police force.
  13. I have to disagree. In the books, Robb was mourning Bran and Rickon and had a moment of weakness with Jeyne. He then found out she was knocked up, and married her to save her reputation. In the tv series, he falls in "love" with a woman with a mysterious past and marries her even though he's already engaged to one of the Freys. I never bought the character, nor the romance. And Robb just looks like an idiot.
  14. Twice zero is still zero. I thought Shan had the best look this week, with Oscar a close second. They should have sent BOTH of Mondo's mentees home.
  15. Janet Elizabeth Lane-Claypon (in the UK) published her study comparing breast fed babies to those fed cow's milk in 1912, and demonstrated more weight gain in the former. I'm not sure what kinds of infant formulas were available in the UK in the 1950s, nor what they cost. The "good" ones may not have been affordable for the women of CTM.
  16. Sandra's "as long as it ain't me" strategy works! Sarah totally overplayed her hand and talked herself out of the game. Kass SHOULD have gone along with her alliance, but told Trish she was with them to get them to vote for Sarah. Then, when the idols were played, if they didn't switch their votes, Sarah would be gone. If they did, Jeffra would be out and Sarah would look like the idiot that she is, putting Kass in the "I told you so" camp and back at the top of the alliance.
  17. Jon Snow is on the cover of next week's TV GUIDE. There are some mild spoilers in the article, so be warned.
  18. What happened to Abe & Kayla? It looked like a budding romance, but now Kayla is interested on Aiden and they're trying to pair Abe with Maxine (who only have their race in common).
  19. Thanks for the Pop-Up Victor! I agree 100% about Nicole. TPTB just won't let her have nice things. AZ is probably the best actress they have and they're just wasting her.
  20. LJ and Jefra might not go along with this, especially since she has an apparent bond with the "blue blood" cop. And Morgan and Jermiah don't really like one another, so they might not be "together" anyway. This season is great! I can't tell who's likely to align with whom.
  21. So let me get this straight, they need to change the rules of magic to save Cyrus, but Cyrus isn't dead yet? AFAICT, the "rules" don't prevent healing someone who is alive, only bringing someone back from the dead. So Cyrus' mom is an idiot!
  22. The knave of Hearts is Will Scarlet, a genie, and in love with the Queen? Is this supposed to make sense?
  23. Here's a topic to discuss strategy and speculate (without spoilers). So what is the lady cop's best move? Assuming she doesn't know who has the idols, is she better off with her current tribe mates or her old (lying) cop buddy?
  24. Thanks. Hopefully, more TWOPers will find us.
  25. There's SUCH a need to snark on this show. I'll send the folks over at TWOP to this forum once there's a topic.
