  1. I felt so bad for Anna-Kat that she might not get to have The Goonies be her movie pick. Other kids had gotten to pick and when it's finally Anna-Kat's turn this happens. It wasn't fair. That stomach on Victoria Justice. Wow.
  2. Exactly. Them putting her back wih Dylan has caused her character to regress. When you thought she might actualy grow ino her own, they do this. Not a whole lot of laughs in this episode.
  3. I don't know that James was ever intended to be a leading man on Dawson's Creek. Dawson was a dreamer, not a take charge, grab the world by the tail kind of guy. I mean, can you imagine Josh playing Dawson? It just wouldn't work. Even though Josh is leading man material, he wouldn't work as Dawson because that's not what Dawson is supposed to be.
  4. I agree with y'all about Joey. I just recently went back and rewatched on Prime (well...up through season 4 and then the 5 years later finale). The first time I watched this I was so mad at how she pined for Dawson and then treated him so horribly and dumped him that I was never okay with her and Pacey. Watching it again and knowing what to expect, I was pretty okay with her and Pacey and was able to actually enjoy and appreciate Dawson and Gretchen's relationship. Pacey was such a great guy. He was so good to Andi and then the writers went and changed Andi's character completely just so they'd have a legit reason to break them up and put Pacey and Joey together. It was so out of character for Andi to cheat on Pacey. And then Pacey was such a nice guy to Joey and she was just neurotic. Although, I imagine her summer on the boat with Pacey must have been great. That still sounds like so much fun sailing the coast all summer long with the one you love and just making it up each day as you go along. And Joey knew she could trust Pacey to take care of her because even though he wasn't book smart, he knew how to handle himself and handle what life threw at him. And Pacey was a great friend to Dawson even though he broke "bro code" and dated Dawson's ex-gf/soulmate/MFEO.
  5. You know, I used to feel like I had to apologize for watching bad TV like this or The Carrie Diaries etc. But now I just own it. It's not great TV but I love it and it's me time.
  6. I stumbled onto this show partway through the first season and wen back and watched all the eps that I missed. I was just scrolling channels and I don't remember why I clicked on it. So glad I did. I immediately knew who Jodi and Beverly were but I did not recognize Christine at all. Such a cute show.
  7. You're not alone in that thought. I've been on the Charles and Liza bandwagon from the beginning. I think Josh makes a good friend for her but I just don't feel the same chemistry from them that I do with Charles. I hope they let Charles and Liza have some fun and enjoy each other next season. If they come up with new reasons to keep them apart, it'll be so contrived. I feel like the next season is their last so I don't want them artificially kept apart all season just to finally see them happy in the final episode. And I agree with you about Kelsey. Far too immature to have the promotion that she got. I know it's just a TV show, but she's gotta realize that sleeping with everyone is bad business and creates conflicts of interest.
  8. I don't think the fashion in this show is all that great. Which you think it would be great with them being young professionals in NYC. I really like the show, but I've just never cared that much for the fashion of the show. I don't think I've ever seen an outfit on there that makes me go "Wow! That is great." or "I gotta have that." But I still really like the show itself.
  9. Yea! I know people like to hate on this show as being dumb but I love it. Sometimes I need dumb TV just to relax to. I'm so excited for season 4. I'm wondering if it'll be their last. What I love about this show is that they all seem to be having so much fun and so I, as a viewer, have fun. Their song and dance numbers and their all around silliness is great. As opposed to another TGIF show that got a reboot on Disney (Girl Meets World). It didn't look like anyone on that show was having fun. It was soooo serous. I just couldn't. As nostalgic as I am, I liked DJ better with Matt than with Steve. I know Steve makes more sense because of their history but I just don't really care for his character on Fuller House. And I think they had Kimmy get back with Fernando too soon. I think they should've had all the girls face single life together and do their she-wolf thing longer before getting all the girls involved with guys. They could've worked to getting them paired off eventually but I felt like it happened too fast.
  10. That, to me, is a lot of androids. Sigourney also said she could trust James Peters in season 1 and we see where that got her. With all the problems and the danger that Frankie has been in since her creation, I just thought it was naive of her to trust Cynthia enough that she left the planet considering what had transpired before. I wonder if Frankie and her friends use Android phones.
  11. I loved Mandy. The old Mandy. The new Mandy isn't horrible and it's unfair for me to hate on her and compare her but I so loved the old Mandy. I loved her style and that she started her own fashion business. When the show first started I was afraid Mandy was just going to be the stock dumb character but she really wasn't and I grew to love her. She had a good story arc going. But I never did buy her and Kyle together.
  12. The writers have never known what to do with Alex. She should've been so much of a better character than she actually has been. They made her a caricature instead of a character. She became so shrill and annoying. They've tried to tone her down a little but it's still so easy for them to write her as the annoyed, put upon smart girl. I love that scene at the end where he gives that elevator speech. That's one of my favorite scenes and is the reason I watch that episode in reruns. When this show first began, I thought Phil was gonna be one of the least likeable and annoying characters but he is consistantly my favorite character. He can do some things that ge on your nerves but he has such a big heart and means well in all he does.
  13. I've never like Dylan and Haley together. In high school it kinda made sense because you usually end up dating idiots in high school. But I hate them together as an endgame. I really wanted her to end up with Andy but somehow knew that it would never happen. And the show trying to tie up loose ends now feels rushed. But this show has never been good at story arcs. Some episodes Alex has a bf that she's been dating but we'd never heard about or seen until that episode and then never heard of again. Haley is getting her life together and has a plan and then a couple of episodes later it's as if that never happened. Rinse repeat. The show can still be pretty funny though.
  14. Delilah's hair is just awful. I hate to be such a negative nelly but I just can't get over it. Is it short? Is it long? Did she forget to touch up her roots? Why is it so dry? Would it kill her to style it at all?
  15. It's a really cute show. It's ended now but you can often find reruns on the Nick channels. The focus is on being funny which is refreshing since a lot of kids shows these days are too preachy. I think it's funny for both kids and adults. I miss not having new episodes to watch.
  16. I didn't realize until I watched the pilot that Lizzy Greene from Nickelodeon's NIcky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn was in this show. I really like her but I just can't seem to stay interested in this show. I've found the only thing I care about is why Jon killed himself. In the flashbacks Jon seems like the most ineresting character in the entire show.
  17. Am I alone in the thought that the only interesting character is the one who is dead? In the flashbacks Jon seems like a character worth watching whereas the others really aren't.
  18. I haven't watched the last couple of episodes. In fact, I think I may be checking out of this show. Really, the only "mystery" I care about is why Jon killed himself. Have we gotten anymore clues as to why he did it?
  19. I love the first book because it's the original and, well, it's a good book. Like others on here, I thought AoA felt a bit like filler. It's not a bad book though. Anne of the Island was my absolute favorite. I didn't care much for the books after they got married or the ones that focused on her children. They just weren't as fun or as exciting to me. Of the ones that are about her children, I think Rilla of Ingleside is probably the best. I wish someone would make a faithful TV series of the Anne books. With a TV series you don't have the same time constraints you do with a 2 or 3 hour movie so you can be more faithful to the source material. I would probably stop the series after Anne of Windy Poplars though.
  20. In season 1, Frankie was original and different. In season 2 it seemed like everyone was an android. Too many androids. And after the problems they had with Sigourney's "trusted" friend James Peters in season 1, why would Sigourney just blindly trust another friend while she's not even on the earth?
