I was out after the first show, but was at that point willing to give it one more chance. However the ensuing ads turned me off so much that I decided first decision was the best choice. Now, all I will do is come here and see what everyone else has to say. Even with Anne, the last few seasons have been more clown show than cooking show...

8,761 steps yesterday. Yesterday's steps were mostly done inside. It was still too icy to walk anywhere outside. Can't risk a fall of any kind! 31° was the high yesterday, it was mostly clear. It was all clear at night which made it even colder and the small amount of snow that had melted has turned to slick ice. It is pretty treacherous walking outside so again, most of my walking will be inside.! Today's forecast is 37°/24° and cloudy. The piles of snow aren't going anywhere soon. Nothing particular on the agenda, but things always seem to come up. I know the last Chewy box is coming today so that is the only "chore" I know I will have to do!

9,191 steps yesterday. Just the short grocery run yesterday for getting out. Still too cold and icy to venture out to the paths. Today looks to be even a bit colder so probably won't be venturing out to walk again today either. The sun is nice outside so may go out just around the house a bit but that is it. Rest of my walking will be inside.

9,022 steps yesterday. As long as I don't have a lot of snow to shovel, I think I am almost all the way back from leg injury. We do show a few nice days still for this week so I am going to try to get out and go to my newly found walking area at the Wildlife Refuge. Taking the garbage up to the road and a quick grocery run to fill in some wet cat food until that part of Chewy order arrives Thursday. The dry food part of the order is coming today.

I thought we had seen the "loving" couple sitting commenting on how "happy" they were for Christine before. This is one big re-run so far. I'm sure we'll see the "mosh pit" again too.....

8,933 steps yesterday. Yesterday was pretty quiet and I expect the same today. Hopefully the steps will be the same at least too! It looks like it is going to be a good week, weather-wise I may be able to get out for a couple walks in the wildlife refuge!

I watched it again today and had the same experience. No way would Kody have been so calm about the whole incident if it were real. And then to be so argumentative about it right after. Saying she "didn't have to try to avoid him, he had brakes." WTF?? Making it seem she was at fault. That was a hard fall for a woman her age, yet she got up dusted herself off and went riding some more. Yeah she said she had whiplash but didn't move her neck like she did. Fakety fake fake. She may have taken a small spill and production decided it would make good film so staged it to look much worse, just for some "excitement". That I wouldn't put past them!

8,794 steps yesterday. No major snow in the forecast for a few days, so I won't be moving the snow and those little aches all over can heal. In general feeling pretty decent. I'm not going to push the steps but just do what I can without paying attention to it. These cold foggy days are more conducive to curling up by the fire with Millie cat in my lap!!

8,918 steps yesterday. Dr appt went fine yesterday, she said my leg looks good, but of course she hadn't seen original injury. I had a pix on my phone and showed her and she said the dr did a great job stitching it up as more than likely the covering skin would have died and it didn't! And it feels just about normal now too! Didn't get to the laundry yesterday so it is the plan for today.

I know exactly what you mean!! A few good days and then for no reason I can pin point, a day that seems to just drag and I feel like I didn't get anything done. Or, every joint seems to have something to say about the past couple of days.

I may give it a go and watch the first episode, but I'm not really excited about it. I'll have to check out the Spotify podcast.

I do it that way too! It helps get all the numbers even! I have fallen and hit my head before, but I have always been asked to do the clock, before fall and after the fall. I was getting my appointment for this year's Medicare exam and they asked if I wanted in person or a phone appointment???? Never heard of that before. Doesn't seem a very thorough assessment if the dr doesn't actually see your actions and how you get to your responses. Isn't this exam supposed to be to see our mental and physical abilities or lack there of? I opted for in person...

8,899 steps yesterday. Just my pcp appt for today, nothing else on agenda, except a load of laundry. I am going to have my pcp glance at my leg to double confirm it is healing well. I am pretty sure it is but it is still somewhat red so a second opinion can't hurt.

That explains why they were outside scraping snow off the vehicles to get the kids to school. That is what a garage prevents in snow country, Dumb A$$!!

8,548 steps yesterday. Gradually getting back in the groove. Nothing special planned for the day. Saying that is almost a dare sometimes! 😸

Late to post, I had to get out early to have car fixed. 8,504 steps yesterday. Took garbage up the road and got stuck again trying to turn around to back into spot. So more snow shoveling yesterday on my open area to get out and back in today. Maybe I'll have 4WD coming home!🤞 Since I'm so late to post, I'll add I got the 4WD working. All the guy had to do was use some pliers and turn the knob with way more strength then I have to engage 4WD again. He sprayed some lubricant on it and I was good to go in 15 min. Best thing was no charge! He said he didn't know why they couldn't do that when I had my tires rotated. My thoughts were they were going for the upsale of what ever service it was they saiid I "needed". Since I was out I did some shopping, since I had planned to spend some money anyway!! LOL!

8.611 steps yesterday. I got stuck in the snow twice getting out yesterday for cat food. Then when I got back got stuck so badly I had to shovel a whole path and make a turnaround so I could back in to my space. Facing out is the only way I'd be able to get out the next trip. So two hours of shoveling snow. Thanks to the new shovel I bought on the way home it was easier than with the old aluminum bent up one I had! Only sore area as a result is my right thumb feels sore and stiff. Back seems OK though. Only chore today is taking the garbage up to the road. At least it will flatten down my way out some more! I sure will be glad to have 4WD again after tomorrow! The shoveling was mare actual steps than I though I guess. I sure got my exercise for the day yesterday. But I don't have another day like that in me for a while!
