    The Green Planet

5-episode British documentary series on the life of plants narrated by Sir David Attenborough. Premiering weekly on PBS in the US on Wednesdays at 8pm starting July 6. It premiered earlier this year on the BBC in Britain
  2. I believe she said in the article it was a brief stint and article indicated “episodes” so it’s probably just a couple of episodes
  3. I don’t know about them all being meant for prime time. I don’t think it matters when they are as the networks will preempt their regular programming as we’ve seen and the various news programs will cover them in detail afterwards
  4. FYI, Tuesday’s episode will likely be preempted. Congress’s Jan 6 committee will be having a surprise public hearing tomorrow at 1pm ET and ABC has indicated they will be covering it. I suspect it will take at least a couple of hours plus the follow up by the news programs

    Citizen Ashe

The doc will be available to stream on HBO Max on July 28
  6. For folks with DVRs, check if it’s recording GH today. Mine wasn’t set so I had to set it manually
  7. Regarding the hiatuses, at least some of them have been due to production delays because of Covid, so at least those couldn’t be helped

  13. I actually made the Savory French Toast recipe that Rachael demonstrated on the show a few weeks ago, though just the French Toast and not the strawberries and sausages, and I cut the recipe in half. I think the only real thing I would change is to get a cheaper cheese, because Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese is kind of expensive ($13.99 currently for a 7 oz wedge). The supposedly slightly inferior Parmesan Cheese is maybe a little more than half the cost. I also just got a regular loaf of Italian bread. I think it's likely that ground nutmeg would suffice, but I wanted to try fresh nutmeg. All in all, it tasted good and wasn't hard to make. I have noticed that Rachael tends to use more high cost or special label ingredients at times, especially with spices, which makes it hard for the regular person to put a recipe together The recipe https://www.rachaelrayshow.com/recipes/savory-french-toast-with-strawberries-and-basil-and-sausages-bld-meal-rachael-ray
  14. No word yet on when we'll see it. Since Fox has announced its Fall premiere dates and the show wasn't on that list, I suspect the show will premiere mid-season, in early 2023
