Did I miss something or did Esme not tell anyone that Liesel almost killed her and Nina intervened?

This has been an exciting week now that people are starting to hear about Willow’s cancer. I know soaps go slow on reveals but this show seems to go extra slow. At least this storyline is moving now

I do appreciate that she at least questioned how she could have lung cancer since she had never smoked and the doctor indicated that's not always how it goes

Sad that Cindy has lung cancer. I was surprised she didn’t grill the doctor about what stage it was or how serious it probably was given her disdain for doctors. It will be interesting to see where they take this @Dowel JonesI didn’t catch during the intros that the lady working with Severide was an insurance investigator so thanks for mentioning it Emma got taken down with post death assist from Hawkins. This is either her swan song or she’ll find another way to mess with Violet

The title should be referencing Season 2 not 1

I do think Nina was way over the line in this episode saying Michael and Willow needed to prioritize Willow over the baby. That was not her call or something she should demand

I do have to say, in spite of Carly's machinations, she does seem to love her family as she fully came clean the minute Drew told her Willow had cancer and needed a bone marrow donation I wish as others said that Nina hadn't barged over to Michael and Willow's place once she learned about Willow's cancer and then bellowed she needed to talk about her grandson. I'm more on her side about seeing Wiley than Michael and Willow but klutzy stuff like that doesn't help her. I do agree I like seeing Sonny with her as Maurice seems more relaxed and Sonny seems a little nicer with a new partner

It hasn’t been canceled, at least not yet. The short season is probably either due to wanting to broadcast another show midseason or because the ratings don’t support more episodes. A few shows that are past their first season have gotten shorter orders than usual lately, though I can’t name them at the moment; it might all be Covid-related in terms of the disruption the pandemic has caused ETA: "The Resident" on Fox is another example of a veteran show only getting 13 episodes for this season and it will be having its season finale Jan 17. NBC's New Amsterdam only got 13 episodes for its final season and will be having its finale on Jan 17 as well and The Flash on the CW also got 13 episodes for its final season and its finale will be in May. La Brea on NBC only got 14 episodes for its second season but that was on purpose since it's a scifi show with special effects and lesser episodes were easier to produce; its season finale will be in Feb

I enjoyed it as well, though I didn’t realize he was going to be the sole guest. It was both funny and sad, the latter especially when Stephen asked Harry about his mom and about grief and grieving

Van Zeller was on ABC’s Good Morning America this morning to promote the 3rd season, which premieres on Wed, Jan 18 at 9pm ET on the National Geographic Channel and next day on Hulu

Alert went from 0.9 in the 18-49 demo and 4 million viewers on Sunday following the NFL game to 0.2 in the demo and 1.49 million viewers on Monday (preliminary ratings) following Fantasy Island, which got 0.2 in the demo and 1.59 million viewers. At least it's compatible with FI lol. Not a good start with a very bad lead-in ratings-wise, but obviously Fox will probably use the initial jump-started episode's ratings to crow about the show
