Half of Friday’s episode was great. I liked the Lucy/Martin reunion and thought Lucy was asking him to marry her, apparently not, but their relationship is still lovely. I knew Alexis was in on Laura’s plan because there’s no way Laura would’ve told her about Valentine at the same time she told Victor, in a public place, not showing her any empathy. She would’ve gone to her house and been supportive. I don’t understand why the gang thinks Victor will slip up anymore now than before but whatever, I like my faves working together. Not sure if Mac, as Commissioner, is in on the fakery. The DA is, but as Robert said, “the mighty have fallen”. 😂 The Ava/Nina conversation was good. CW broke my cold heart when she said: “I can’t save her”. But when she went on to say: “I won’t survive losing her”, I said: “let us help you with that!!” outloud, I couldn’t help it. I’m sure the character away from the mob family would be more palatable but I don’t see it happening so be gone, girl. I think the Britt memorial was just an excuse to have Nina get triggered and I worry that soon we’ll have no more opportunities to see Liesl.

For once, I liked the 2 covered arms version of Phyllis’ dress. I love that blue. I avoid most of the ridiculous business scenes. Why is Sally not telling Nick that Jill cancelled on her? Will one of her slides include the info that she can only dedicate 5 months to the job, if lucky? I’m questioning why you hired your mommy too, Daniel. Kyle, you epic idiot.

Oh, Trina, your support of Spencer’s ridiculous baby daddy plan is very disappointing. Also, you do not pass my couple’s chem test, but that’s fine, no couple currently on canvas has either. I’m glad Nina is not a match and I hope Sonny, Sasha, Maxie and Liesl can keep her from going over the edge. The scene where she told Willow was good. I’m glad they didn’t have Willow yell at her or throw her out. I’m not a fan of Drew or Carly, but I like that the show is offering decent sex scenes with less young folks (Lucy/Martin - Anna/Valentin). Not sure if GH is using an intimacy coordinator has DOOL has done, it might help. So Cody will ride to Sasha’s rescue. Fine, girl has had too many problems already, she doesn’t need Gladys taking advantage. It’s so silly though, if Gladys had come clean, I’m sure Sasha would be ok with paying her debts with strings attached like counseling, etc.

Oops! In my head Kevin was Lauren’s stepson, he’s of course her brother-in-law! Shows what I think of the character’s maturity. 🤣

Young Paul Williams was so pretty and I liked seeing his mother again. Gotta give it to Y&R, they aren’t afraid of showing historical clips. Poor actors sitting there listening to an actor drone on, second time for 3 of them too IIRC, with Michael’s special ep. Lauren’s mother, son and stepson being actors on DOOL is funny. That neon green atrocity was something else.

Olivia lathering on the Carly praise - yuck. Hiding the name of an adult person’s mother because you don’t like her is NOT “protecting your family”. Sheesh. Can’t wait to hear Trina’s opinion of Spencer’s idea to get custody of his yet unborn half-sibling. Glad Valentin and Anna didn’t fall for the cataphile’s plans. I hope Lucy’s presence will liven things up because A&V scenes have been a snoozefest.

I don’t think Nik “I let my son think I was dead for 3 years and more recently slept with his girlfriend” is in a place to judge any parent.

When is Marcus’ last on screen date? I had heard end of January.

Can anyone watching in “real time” tell this month-behinder Canadian if the Stephen story is over yet? It makes my skin crawl.

Kyle is acting like a spoiled 12-yr old to me, with no capacity for insight. Totally #TeamSummer here. He’s delusional to think Adam will never found out he helped to sabotage his job. Not to mention he’s screwing his father Jack in the process, just to help his little company? Jabot owns Marchetti now, right? The business storylines hurt my head. This. It was nice to see Elena again, I just wish she was out of Nate’s orbit.

Yes, the best way to talk to Cam about cheating on him is in a small room next to the bed you just had sex with your lover in, wearing a negligee. 🤮 Then, use the “I was attacked” sympathy card to derail him talking about his feelings. The selfish parallels between Spencer and Nik were glaring today.

They did that today already. Not even giving us a weekend of hope.

Am I the only one seeing potential for an Adam/Summer tryst? It would be one way to get back at Kyle who has been acting like a big idiot lately. Why would he even entertain Vic’s proposal? His father can’t stand him, for very good reasons. Wanna start feeling better quickly, Sally? It starts with an A and ends with an N.

I agree with all of this. It’s clear they’ve been “shopping” Austin around for a more chemistry partner. So glad they moved on from the man bun and hiking clothes. MW needs to sparkle again and I see a better future with Austin than Victor. Still not on board with her hair though. Why does every woman need to be blonde? (Britt has gone and Liz’ hair is still a tragedy). I wish Maxie would get a similar makeover starting with the dead caterpillars she wears as eyelashes. Speaking of Austin, the actor playing his cousin is really good at playing a vile guy. Yuck. I would enjoy Victor/Nik more if I wasn’t wondering about the latter’s exit.

I disagree. Nina mentioned this news had to be hurting her and Liesl said it was good news and they had a nice exchange. I like that Liesl is not just a one dimensional revenge character and is reminded of how needed she is, by other people who love her.

Good job by Austin to get Liesl there to support Nina. Girl needs all the help she can get. I smell a jail visit to Esmé any minute now. So Curtis’ dad stopped playing solos to avoid episodes that never happened in 40 years (!) and he still refuses to get a second opinion? Make it make sense because right now, Hat Man is much too pathetic. I liked him better when he appeared to be a villain in hiding. Did the All. Mob. All. The. Time show screw up my moral compass? 🤔

I’m hoping Anna wasn’t so much jealous as sceptical of the cataphile, who I didn’t think was that great looking. Then again, I can’t see Valentin as a Casanova either. Can’t believe I forgot about the Spencer/Ava scenes after wanting them to team up forever. Probably because the storyline involves a baby being used as a cudgel. And still not a fan of MW’s new long bleached hair.

Very true, but I actually like that they have a Willow ally witnessing the test so that Michael, etc. can’t claim at some point that Nina chickened out. But now I wonder how his presence there figures in whatever comes next. Or maybe they just needed to give the actor a scene. Nina is so close to losing her sanity, not being a match will crush her (no spoilers, just anvils). CW is playing desperation very well. If Michael starts treating Carly like he treats Sonny, I will enjoy him more than I have in a very long time. Can’t wait for the Willow show to end. I’m surprised Heather told Esmé to stay away from Ryan, but I liked it. Poor Esmé though, thinking she has a prison stalker. This is definitely her redemption arc.

Finished the last season today. I loved Grace and Frankie’s friendship and how they supported each other. I know they couldn’t be in all the scenes but I skipped most of the other characters’ scenes, because they were often too ridiculous for me to enjoy. I have enjoyed the work of Sam Waterston and Martin Sheen in many things, but they just never clicked with me as a couple, and the Sol character was beyond annoying. The less said about all their kids, the better. I loved Dolly Parton, but some of her scenes looked as if they were shot in a different room because her eyes were not looking where they should. As Frankie said, my life is small and meaningless so I can’t relate, but Jane and Dolly having achieved so damn much, still feeling they have to look as Barbie like as ever, is incredibly sad to me. Not sure how much is due to having to do maintenance surgical work every few years, for it not to look horrific after a while. Something I don’t think plastic surgeons discuss much.

I enjoyed the boy speaking French. He did it very well and made Valentin look like a sad mumbling sack. I’m echoing everyone saying Anna should be moved away from Valentin. Maybe FH took time off, but I would’ve enjoyed scenes her scenes more if she had been with Lucy. I miss small doses of Lucy. It was great to see MEK and CS in a good scene though, I like Martin having a spine. Poor memory-less Esmé, I wouldn’t wish finding out Ryan and Heather on any… well, most people. 😉

I loved Diane’s green dress and she wore it well, it just wasn’t her colour. I think it’s time they took her out of mourning colours, just not with that one. It wasn’t nearly as bad as the whole orange toffee colour scheme they put Phyllis in though. i really enjoyed Daniel’s rant towards his annoying mother, the actor came to life and everything! Adam was acting weird at Chelsea’s place and has been for a while. Not sure if’s due to his Billy hatred or if he’s falling for her again, but I’m not looking forward to what’s coming up either way.
