I was raving in my head about how good the show was today, and then… nooooooo!!! Why couldn’t they just have Britt take care of pregnant Esme and deliver her baby? Too soon to the last delivery, I guess. Same. No comments on the hooker’s identity? Mmm.

Starting to think Arianne hurt her arm for real, because they usually don’t keep slings on that long unless it’s for a plot point and it hid her lovely dress. I liked all the dresses at the wedding, except for the one SH had on. She’s in great shape, but I don’t think it did anything for her. Remington is getting better, but I feel nothing for Li. I suspect they’ll keep him and Kristen involved somehow. Meh. Happy New Year, everyone! 💫

I’m finally up-to-date but missed the 1991 ep. Michael Damian does look rough and having a dyed beard didn’t help. You could see his son had more grey hairs! You would think male actors would know by now that grey can be sexy. I’ve known this since I saw Richard Gere in Internal Affairs, circa 1990. Case and point, Michael looked fabulous in his suit and new haircut! I hoped against hope that Sally’s test would come back negative and was, as always, bitterly disappointed (sigh). I always enjoy the Adam/Jack scenes and liked that A. is worried about Jack. I was enjoying the Diane character, but the constant fighting and ridiculous shenanigans are doing me in. Diane should’ve had her own storylines w/ Allie and whoever, a love interest and a job away from the Abbotts. It’s not as if the actress couldn’t be interesting on her own. Happy New Year everyone! 💫

I’ve already said all I could say about yesterday’s ep, but would like to wish everyone here a fantastic New Year. Life challenges since the end of 2018 have shrunk my social circle to near non-existant levels so this board means a lot to me. Here’s to much better for all of us in 2023! 💫

Looks like she was well liked by her peers on the show, and that’s lovely. I agree with everything you all said, from teasing us mercilessly with an Austin pairing, to the worry that she’ll get hooked. If so, it would be great to see Victor take her away to save her and leave a return possible. I think KT will be too popular to come back, but seeing Liesl lose her beloved daughter permanently would break my heart. I’m not even considering the Joss angle because… NO. JUST NO. Also, why is the hooker aiming to kill Trina, then abandoning the idea for no reason and moving to Josslyn? I totally blame Nik for Esme throwing herself off the parapet. She really thought he would kill her after the birth and Liz (uncharacteristically) wouldn’t move a finger to help her. Ryan and Heather finding out would be a good permanent exit for the character. Lastly, I really enjoyed the energy GF brought to her scenes today. Laura went all out to convince dufus he should stop being scared of Victor and got a sad sack response in return.

I’m now a day behind the one week Canadian behinders, so I appreciate the spoiler tags. Pretty disappointed in the storylines around Christmas - so sad and dark - especially the Stephen ones. 😝

True, and it’s not as if Victor would mind a pregnant woman prisoner. Unless Nik thinks he would kill Esme? I don’t think he cares about her welfare outside of the pregnancy so it’s not that either. Was Victor threatening Ava at some point? He seems smitten by her now - maybe that’s why he wanted them apart. It’s funny, people here can remember 10-30yr old GH stories in minute details, but I don’t see this as much with currently storylines - much more forgettable. Or it could just be me. 🙃 Possibly. We need more BTS info. That’s where all the juicy stories apparently are, because we certainly don’t have them on screen.

I agree. They spent so much time keeping them apart that I really don’t care anymore. It’s not just the current Trina, even before SM left, they had made Spencer such a jerk, I didn’t want them together anymore. Of course, if not Spencer, there’s no one to match her with now that Cam is only part-time.

I am underwhelmed by the party. As anything good ever happened on that boat? Although the karaoke singing was fun, it didn’t need to continue after the commercial. It felt like filler. RH looked good in his suit, too bad the hair is always a miss.

I thought Marcus looked unwell in many scenes I saw him in recently. My guesses (I know nothing) would be repeated Covid infections and refusal to take precautions around others on set or substance abuse. Both would explain his repeated absences over the past months and result in a firing.

I enjoyed today’s show too, especially the Britt/Liesl talk, Laura/Martin/Cyrus and Spencer apologizing to Ava (not a fan of the longer hair w/ dark roots and wispy ends look MW is sporting, however). Who is this gorgeous André? Have we seen him w/ Victor before? Couldn’t tell if Valentin was right to be weary or just jealous as he should be. 😋 I hope we get to see him again.

Too. Much. Cody. I so can’t w/ the character that I had to skip every Britt scene and that’s not cool. For a while there, I worried that Brooklyn was pregnant - glad to avoid that even if we had to go through the ridiculous “you’re not sick, you’re in love”🤮. I like Chase so much more with Sasha, I don’t look forward to a triangle. He needs to be in Sasha’s corner when Gladys starts messing w/ her.

I was surprised that the In Memoriam montage didn’t include more scenes w/ PR. To me, Victor’s relationship to Bo was his anchor but my memory isn’t great. I enjoyed the quick clip of his “I Dos” and especially his scene w/ Joseph Mascolo - the good old days. JA’s delivery was great in his last scenes and the quips were good. The character’s misogynistic lines in the past years were awful though.

The twins were everything, but would probably have been much less adorable awake. 😂 As a long, longtime viewer I appreciate that they’re continuing the ornaments tradition. There’s always an interloper getting his/hers and I just roll with it. Once Victor got his, all bets were pretty much off. Speaking of which, I thought yesterday was to be John Aniston’s last appearance. Did I miss it?

Thanks for the info @statsgirl ! I had conveniently forgotten about that annoying child. 🤣 It’s terrible weather here in Ottawa too. I feel quite bad for people having to be out which made me even more annoyed at the girl. And yes, Noelle Britta is a beautiful name - too bad it will only be used today.

At least the show made an effort to bring people together, which I appreciated. Granted “Sonny the Mechanic” and the imagine of Britt on a motorcycle in the ice and snow, riding to help a pregnant woman made me chuckle, but I’m easy today. 🤣 I also like Scott a lot so seeing him with Laura and Liesl makes me happy. I do have questions though, like why the emphasis on Maxie and her family and why was that Griffin (sp?) guy a plot point? I would also have preferred a Cody-less ep as he was not needed, Britt and Austin having developed a relationship, he should’ve called her. Unless Cody will be the one leaving w/ Britt, which I would applaud. It also looked like were chem testing Austin w/ Brooklyn. My head is spinning now… off to drink to make it better. 😄

Yesterday I thought Jack was dumb enough to take Stark to see Diane, glad I was wrong about that but handing him $1 mil. is so damn ridiculous. “Diane really ruin my life, which is why I’m giving you all that $$$!” 😝 I don’t think the Sally actress shows any disgust in acting w/ JM but I am disgusted about the WTD story. Are we getting an episode tomorrow?

Yes they were - “karma really is a b*tch”. 🤣 So Nik knows that Esme isn’t the hooker but didn’t bother to tell his son. And Liz knows but won’t tell Cam, so T&S will do something very stupid. Sigh… To avoid huge second-hand embarrassment I muted all the singing and read instead.

Quite a blah episode today, although I did enjoy the Davis Coven get-together and the Alexis/Spencer talk. I was just sorry it meant him going to Trina. Austin and Maxie broke up, making it more likely that he’ll leave the show w/ Britt. KS looked great in that coat but her super long fake eye-lashes always take me out of her scenes.

I’d rather it be Spencer for the increased drama factor and the possibility of them teaming up to wreak havoc everywhere and screwing up Victor’s plans. It would be very temporary as Trina would be back in Spencer’s orbit, make him feel guilty and he would want to be a good guy again (rinse-repeat, sigh). [I don’t remember much of Ava/Morgan, just the long screeching Sonny and Carly scenes following his death.]

I wasn’t watching when they were involved, but I am here for a flirty, happy Sharon and really liked her and Tucker today. Both actors seemed to enjoy themselves and TSJ even smiled for real and looked very good doing it… then he had sex scenes with the Audra character and… nothing. I did enjoy the “what is your end game” speech though, because I want to know too.

I don’t know why he didn’t want to film and I should’ve been clearer in my post about that part and will edit, no need to be terse.

I know it’s very unprofessional of him not to want to film last scenes and he was not one of my favourites, but after watching the Nik/Liz scenes yesterday, I can’t blame him for maybe not wanting refusing to do more of that. What a ridiculous storyline. ETA: I don’t know why he chose not to film his last scenes and we may never get to find out.
