  1. It’s obvious that Dorito is hiding her jewelry and handbags from creditors. Kyle’s robbery just gave her the idea. LVP needs to drop this show. She doesn’t have any friends here. Kyle couldn’t scare up an iota of sympathy for Lisa who lost her brother in the worst possible way. LVP needs to drop that bitch like a bad habit.
  2. I hope that Wig Boy realizes that he really dodged a bullet when self righteous mess Manning dumped him. She is a controlling freak who cannot be worth the trouble she causes. Nor is he for that matter. They both should be fired and they should bring in some new blood.
  3. It is easy to understand. Atwater is only here to service the purpose of this series. Which is to attack the police in general and the Chicago Police Department in particular. Every episode and every plot is in service of a narrative that the police are courrpt and racist and the true criminals in any interaction with the public. The only two half way decent people have already been trashed this season. Antonio who is supposed to be a decent cop with morals proceeded to murder someone while high on drugs. Trudy who often stood out as the voice of reason works hand and hand with Hank to help the coverup. Of course the higher ups are uniformly corrupt criminals. Isn’t there a decent law abiding policeman in Chicago? Not on a Dick Wolf show.
  4. What a great and really unique episode for this series. The police are racist killers and the drug dealing muderous gang banger is the innocent victim! Who coulda seen that one coming? Dick Wolf is full of surprises!
  5. They don’t have a thread for the new episode but they have a surprisingly different plot. The bad guy is a racist cop and the sympathetic victim is a murderous drug dealer. What an unusual twist for a Dick Wolf show. It is a shame we don’t have a thread to celebrate such groundbreaking television!
  6. I think the perfect storyline iwouls be if Shaun meets someone and starts to date and Lea becomes jealous. She sees him as a pet not a man. It’s that simple.
  7. That’s the point. He is popular enough with the nurses that they tried do protect his reputation which is often not the case with nurses and doctors. They often have an adversarial relationship. This indicates that he is not an asshole and that he is well liked. He is a rich doctor who probably has his pick in the daring pool. I bet if he went on Tinder he would have more dates than he could handle. Why would he want to date a paramedic who has already shown to be a nasty piece of work? its another stretch to have the right demographic for a Dick Wolf villain.
  8. A short round disgusting slug is the centerpiece of a Bravo Reality show. When did Joe Giudice get out of jail and what is he doing in Tahiti?
  9. For once Jax gave good advice. Tom doesn’t have any time to waste. Just like Jax said if you get a house and then get married and she decides that she doesnt want to have kids and that’s a dealbreaker then you are wasting your time. Time to trade up Tom. You traded up when you dumped Kristen and hooked up with Ariana. Now it’s time to do it again.
  10. Cancer is exhausting so that storyline is bringing some reality to the crazy unbelievable plots in this show. My big problem is that it is too explicit with all the shots of the procedures and blood and gore. Too much for me. I have to look away half the time. I long for the days of Ben Casey where the only horrible thing you saw was Dr Zorba’s hair cut.
  11. I hope when Conrad breaks up with the woman that doesn’t want to commit he goes after the hot Mom with the sick kid. It was obvious he was talking about raising kids not chickens and she freaked out. He needs to move on stat.
  12. Correct me if I am wrong but haven’t we had whole seasons of drama about cheating? Ariana cheated on Tom right in front of his face and he is supposed to like it because why? Because it was a same sex hook up so that doesn’t count? Wait a minute.... she cheated on him behind his back. He was in the front seat. Never mind.
  13. Maybe they could have an exciting twist where April stares down Choi until he goes against his medical judgment to use a new experimental surgery to save a poor abused criminal who was on his way to apply for college but instead is shot by a crooked cop because he made him drop his donut.
  14. What an amazing twist. They tried to make you think the cop killed the criminal drug lord. The amazing twist? It was really the retired cop. These writers are so talented. How do they come up with this stuff!!!!
  15. A good looking rich respected doctor has to resort to stalking a paramedic who really isn’t all that? Another very believable storyline from these geniuses.
  16. Dick Wolf hates the police so he never misses a chance to portray them as courrpt or evil. Now they cause accidents because you can’t have an accident without it being the cops fault. His shows are made for people who hate the police or basically any authority figure like this doctor who is now going to be portrayed as a dangerous stalker. Of course he doesn’t even watch his own shows or he would know that Antonio's current storyline is that he is covering up his own bad behavior where he killed a suspect while under the influence of illegal drugs. It’s the same idiocy where Hank Voight went from crazed dirty cop who went to prison on Fire to star of the show on Chicago PD. With Dick Wolf shows you don’t just suspend disbelief you suspend reality and the laws of time and space.
  17. My fondest wish is that Halstead uses the gun to shoot Manning and put us all out of our misery.
  18. Another episode...another cop kills suspect. Even if it was totally justified he would ride a desk for the rest of his career and rightfully so.
  19. If you watch Chicago Fire you find out that cops cause motorcycle accidents and cover them up. These hacks have lost the plot so badly that they have Antonio lecturing this cop about telling the truth and accepting the consequences. It’s just unbelievable.
  20. Ross is starting to learn the downside of being a reality whore. He is really coming off as a jerk off lately.
  21. I think you are absolutely correct. Once the producer manipulation becomes so blatant that everyone knows it they change it up. So they have to come up with a new plot line. As I recall we had the Kate doesn't get along with the Chef plot line. First with Ben and then with Leon. Then they dropped that for the Kate doesn't get along with the third stew which has been a staple. Do you see a pattern here? Who will they pick for Kate not to get along with next? The guests? Captain Crunch? I think the obvious plot line is Kate not getting along with the bosun. I just hope they pick a bosun who is evenly matched with Kate. My suggestion? Kim Jung-Un. I hear he is a big Bravo fan. Loves the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
  22. This a very skewed show. It is a jaundiced and very negative view of the police. Corruption is killing this show. It is making it a boring one note show that follows the same pattern every episode. Add in the fact that every other episode a different friend or family member of the squad is kidnapped, raped or murdered it is just nonsense. You do realize that 90% of the cops on the beat never even pull their guns even in a hellhole like Chicago? If Voight and his team killed as many people as they do in this show they would be off the force in any city in America. Every member of the team has killed more people than Doc Holiday. It is just bullshit. It is almost as bad as Hawaii Five O. When I look at a show I hope to see something different. A show like The WIre showed the good and the bad of both the cops and the crooks without making them cardboard characters. That is beyond Dick Wolf's talent. Of course they use talented writers of detective fiction like RIchard Price, Dennis Lehane and George Pelecanos. Real talent not hacks. If only we could have the verisimilitude and excitement of classics like "Adam 12" or "Dragnet"we would be getting somewhere. Even a humble show like "Baretta" was more true to life. After all they hired a murderer as the star of the show.
  23. Really? I can’t remember one. There is always something else involving some other elements. I remember the undercover operation with gang bangers who went to buy guns from the mythical Irish gang. I remember a serial killer who killed a girl who who worked for the unit. Lots of shows where someone’s relative was kidnapped and raped or murdered. A straight case involving just gang violence just doesn’t stick out. Did they ever have a case where a young child was caught in a drive by crossfire? I remember a case where Halstead killed a kid but not gangbangers. I guess this is just network TV so it will not reflect reality. Hacks gotta hack. I long for the reality of “Starsky and Hutch.”
  24. I guess Tyler loves a virgin jar of peanut butter. So to speak.
  25. They also showed courrpt black cops with Bubba Gump last season. The thing the villains are always people in positions of authority or mythical Irish gangs or businessmen who own companies as they just did in Chicago Fire. They never show the nitty gritty reality of how dangerous Chicago has become that you saw in a show like The Wire. In that show you had courrpt cops and venal politicians and even Fake News reporters making stuff up. But the reality of the situation was displayed without fear or favor. I never expect that from a hack like Dick Wolf.
