Captain Lee has never taken responsibility for his part in the screwups. His management failures are just as glaring as Kate’s. He needed procedures in place such as always having a crew member being with the guests on an excursion. Once he saw how inadequate Chandler was he had to step in and not just spout off folksy bullshit.

I can’t wait for the explanation about why Ashton going overboard is Chandlers fault. Nah it must have been Caroline’s fault somehow. Yes I am sure Teflon Captain Lee has a fresh earthy aphorism that explains it.

If you have ever supervised employees you will have run into people like Caroline. They are endemic in the workplace. Especially if you are dealing with millenals. There are specific and tangible management tools to manage such a person. Kate should have taken a course as should Captain Lee. As a manager Kate is a great reality show shit stirrer. She is the Tamara or Theresa of this franchise. That’s her real job.

The loud music in and of itself is not significant but points to a pattern of immature vindictive behavior that would be part of her “documentation” of a hostile work environment. I think you can see that the CaptaIn was concerned that Kate might have been at fault as he questioned her despite their TV relationship. Kate has a pattern of turning her team into a two against one situation. She did it with Amy, Rocky and now Caroline. Kate played power games at the expense of efficiency. Sure Rocky and Caroline have tons of issues but Amy is one of the best Stews in the whole franchise. With Kate it is always two against one. Not professional at all. Kate is a bad person.

The harassment at the end with the loud music is definitely something Human Resources might have something to say about. Plus the demand that she get off the boat in an hour. Caroline was definitely right in wanting to talk to Captain Lee before she left and he was off the boat.

Caroline and Chandler did mess up a bunch and were the cause of some of the problems that plague this crew of leaderless misfits. You know like forgetting the gas for the barbecue and causing the man over board next episode. Those rotten bastards. I do think one thing is true. Caroline might be a dumpster fire but she is right. Kate is a bad person.

Here’s the thing. With Chandler and Caroline gone there is nobody to blame and the shitty service will still continue. What are the mean girls gonna do when they don’t have a built in excuse?

It looked to me that when the glass shattered it broke right next to the stairs that goes to the back of the boat where you get off the tenders. Maybe some very small particles not visible to the naked eye went to departure deck and the child stepped on it and got injured. But you know what? It doesn’t matter. You know what would be really interesting? A love triangle with Severide, Stella and the new girl. Only have the new girl hit on Stella one drunken night at Molly’s and let Stella be into it because she is tired of Severides bullshit Lets see how he feels when it happens to him. Of course Dick Wolf is too much ch of a hack to do anthing different. What a useless hack.

You who Kevin is in this show? Hoss Cartwright. Think about it. The gentle giant who is always in good humor who could squash you like a bug if he got pissed off. He is often overlooked and gets more than his share of the crap because of his good nature. Plus whenever he gets a love interest in an episode something happens to her so they can’t be together. I am really gonna be freaked out if his next lady friend gets killed in a tragic buggy accident or gets run over by a horse. Nothing is ever new in episodic television created by hacks like Dick Wolf.

I think the problem is that there are not any likable characters on this show. Choi was until they put him in with April. All of the doctors are insufferable scantamonious politically correct prigs. Maggie is just about the only character that you can relate too or care about in the whole hospital. I think the only intriguing character is a bit player. The Neurosurgeon who shows up every other episode is interesting. You could build a show around him. Otherwise the rest of the doctors are blech. They don’t make doctors like Dr. Kildare or Ben Casy anymore.

I expect to see Carole on “Survivor” or “Celebrity Rehab.” The only reality show she won’t be on is “Teen Mom.”
