What it means to be professional is that you act like a professional all the time. I get that she let Laura spew because Laura was hurting herself and looked stupid. Kate is a veteran of reality TV and knows how that would look like on camera. The look of glee in her eyes when Laura hung herself was clear to see. Captain Lee's look of dismay when Kate came in with her problems for him to solve was also clear to see. What happened to "If I have to solve your problems what do I need you for?" Or is Kate immune to that because so many people love her nasty bitchy personality? Because acting like a child makes great TV? Because the crowd loves the overdog. I get that I am in the very small minority in disliking Kate. Most people think they will be one of the mean girls and not one of their victims. I just support the underdog in most encounters. Your mileage may vary.

Kates behavior as usual was childish, vindictive and nasty. Not what you expect in a leader or a professional. People are criticizing Ross and how he handled Rhylee when he was very professional. He took her aside several times and tried to talk it out without putting her down. He tried to explain his process and was complimentary to her even though some of her actions were on a par with Laura's miscues. How would you feel if instead of offering to help Rhylee carry that chair he stood in front of her and walked really slowly because he was pissed off at her attitude? There is a way to do things when you are a professional and a leader and there is a way not to do things. Kate is a just a childish mean girl.

Yes. Walking slowly up a narrow stair way while your subordinate is carrying a heavy load in bare feet and could easily slip and hurt themselves is in fact the essence of maturity and leadership. I hope they use that clip in future management training seminar. I noticed at one point when Ashton was drunkenly staring at Laura and not comprehending her bullshit that he looked exactly like Harry Hamlin. I bet Rinna gets that dead eyed stare ten times a day.

Very true and the best thing to do is not be professional let alone kind or compassionate. Just crank up the stereo like she is Manuel Noriega and call out insults about her family and embarrassing medical change conditions. Because that is a what an adult would do.

True unless there is some liability or chance for liability in un-aired content that will back up Caroline's claims of a hostile working environment. This is all speculation of course and it could all be a product of Caroline's troubled persona. I don't know. I just put my money on Bravo being scum. I think that is good bet.

Has Caroline mentioned Bravo coming after her? This seems like a leap without any evidence particularly given how erratic she is on Twitter I think that is a reasonable guess based on the fact that I don't think that Kate or Josiah or any of the other cast members would lawyer up. Who else could it be? It is either Kate or Bravo and my money is on Bravo. I think they are trying to squelch this and protect the more valuable commodity in Kat.e. I think that is a reasonable leap.

Bullying is in the eye of the beholder. I think the legal department of Bravo going after a marginal person like Caroline might very well apply. That's what lawyers do. They bully people under the threat of a lawsuit and legal damages. I don't know what kind of relationship Caroline has with her father and what kind of lawyer he might be. If he is a real estate lawyer for example I don't think he will be of much help. She needs a really scummy barracuda like the creepy porn lawyer to make some dough off of this mess. Or an opportunistic feminist gonif like Gloria Allred to really take them to the cleaners. There has to be some "Me Too" issues in there somewhere. If not they can always manufacture something. She definitely can prove a hostile working enviornment based on just the footage we saw let alone what they might find after discovery. That's what they do. I hope Caroline can make some money off of it. She seems like she is foundering and she can use the dough. I bet the right kind of ambulance chaser could squeeze out a settlement. Anything she can take off of Andy Cohen and Bravo puts her on the side of the Angels.

Repeating what others have claimed about the people who are attacking you is just as ok as talking about your personal medical issues and your mother on television even if they didn't show the footage to protect more valued reality show characters. I do agree that she is backing down due to a legal push back most likely from Bravo. I am sure they bullied her. That's par for the course. Of course if it came to a legal case and they had to do some discovery it might be a different story. Now Caroline doesn't have the smarts or the resources but some opportunistic ambulance chaser like that Porn Lawyer guy might be able to sweat a settlement our of Andy Cohen's nasty ass.

I call it Caroline repeating something that other former ship mates of Kate have previously said on the record. I will take her at her word that she personally didn't see Kate do blow. She just went with what everyone else had to say. But if you ask me if someone in the elite world of yachting in this day and age has never done cocaine....well I kinda find that hard to believe. I know I know you can't go by Kate's strung out appearance and conclude she is coke head. My money is on Meth.

Caroline obviously has some issues. Unlike most here I am not a mental health professional so I can’t be certain what is going on. Her current behavior on Twitter points to ongoing issues beyond the scope of my expertise that’s for sure. I did notice that most of the crew turned against her. The only one who showed any compassion was Ross who tried to listen to her and was the one who shut off the blasting music. School was a long time ago for me but I vividly remembered the mean girls picking out the “weird” girl to pick on and ostracize. This smells a lot like that. I don’t know the technical definition of bullying but I know what I saw on that s show was fucked up. Caroline has stated that Kate and her monkey called her a herpes ridden slut and mocked her Moms mental issues. I don’t know if that is true. Since she is not going to the reunion we will never know for sure. I think the fact that she is being omitted from the reunion and that they are advertising for a new chief stew for next season tells us something. I guess we can’t agree on what.

Two wrongs don’t make a right. I will be happy to stipulate that Caroline is troubled with mental issues which were exacerbated by being bullied. So if you want to equate Kate’s gold plated bitchiness with that I can’t argue with you. Your mileage might vary.

You would expect the maid to see your stuff. You would not expect a glorified housekeeper to pick up your clothes and mock you on National Television. No womder that Bravo is looking for a new Chief Stew for next season.

I really doubt that they were aware that the crew was going to rummage in their closet and mock their clothing. Who would agree to that? You have to face the fact that the Mean girls are nasty shits.

I saw that too and it is very interesting if it is true. Bravo might agree that the format of Kate torturing the third stew is getting stale. Some new blood would not be a bad thing. They also had a photo of the new Med crew that includes Capt Sandy, Ben as chef, Jao as bosun and Colin as a deckhand. Unfortunately Hannah is still chief stew.

Why are there so many crew members in Below Deck from South Africa or Zimbabwe? Is that common in yachting or just who Bravo seeks out to fill the crew? I would have thought that this crew would have a bunch of Aussies or New Zealander's or people from the Philippines. That only stands to reason when you are operating in the far reaches of the South Pacific. I know Andy and Bravo is pretty racist and has strict segregationist rules but why couldn't you have someone other than Ross who comes from that part of the world.

They know why. She's Kate. She had it in for every third stew if they were good (Amy)...bad (Rocky)....or indifferent (Laura). It doesn't matter who they are it is Kate's job to make their life a misery and provide drama and snarky quips. That's what a real professional and a leader would do. Right?

Maybe Kate can see how she looks in this series and can take some time off. Hannah too. Then we can get some new blood and different combinations. A break from the Kate mean girl antics would not be a bad thing. Why not have a new crew in a new location. Tahiti was the perfect place for that but it just didn't happen.
