S4.E02 "The Addition Decision" New 4/10/2025 "A couple who were burned by overpaying on their latest property, a flipping couple is unsure if building an addition would be worth the extra expense." So the flippers from Vegas return. They're the ones who had stop work orders, told Tarek on camera they were ignoring the permitting and stop work orders, and got caught. I have to accept that all of Tarek's flip students will screw up over and over, and still make a big profit. (Spoiler: Not this time!) Marco and Jenny are still flipping, and still doing it wrong. Buy a house for $830K that was listed for $775K (? about that), so they're already behind on money. They haven't even started contacting realtors asking if they have any premarket flips, so Tarek makes them do cold calls to realtors about that so they save on price, and at the end they find another flip this way. Jenny wants to spend $50K on a main bedroom suite with bath addition, and blow the kitchen out. Tarek tells them it will extend the project by months for permits, and will easily cost another $100K. They finally decide not to do the addition. However, they do the kitchen on both sides of the current kitchen, means that the tiny living room is now tinier, because it has to have a tiny 4 person table and chairs or the breakfast bar will be the only place to eat. Also, Marco and Jenny can't decide on design, he wants elaborate, smaller more expensive tile to purchase and for labor, she wants more neutral, larger nice but still cheaper tiles. She wins. Marco as always, doesn't get permits, gutted the house, changes the floor plan, and since he likes modern electric fireplaces, rips out a working gas log fire place. And picks the marble look tiles that are too busy and bold, none of the lines flow between the tiles, and I think it looks hideous. Great way to waste a few thousand extra. Then, Marco redid the ensuite bath, big shower, big single sink vanity, but the only place to put the toilet is right in the door to the bedroom, and blocking the sink unless you have very skinny legs. Tarek says list for $999,900, to get interest many more buyers interested, and hopefully get a bidding war going. They list for $1.050,000 and at the end of the show, no offers. Jenny's idea for listing that high was they needed to sell for that, they wouldn't need to if they hadn't been fined for violating the permitting rules, as always. And if they hadn't wasted thousands on over expanding the kitchen, and leaving the dining and living room much smaller than the kitchen. And the fireplace fiasco. House was claimed to be in Mission Viejo, but I couldn't find it as listed or sold. Marco also claims he's a flipping coach. They also have You Tube channel promoting their flipping business, real estate investing, and other flipping subjects, so I guess they're just on Tarek's show as new flippers for publicity.

10 April--“ Hysterical Over a Horse” 5/17/2109 Season 22 / Episode 130 Cases-What A Nay Sayer - Causing A Customer To Cry - Treating A Tenant Terribly (Case 1-Classic case: Janet had a horse 40 years ago, and wanted a horse again. p. tries horse for days at d.'s ranch, then claims horse was lame and California's Lemon Law should apply. Plaintiff says horse had special desensitization training, no that's quite normal. Plaintiff didn't get a prepurchase exam from a vet. There is a puppy Lemon Law, but not a Horse Lemon Law. I wonder if plaintiff changed the turn out (pasture schedule) of the horse, or the wrong feed (some cause a horse's behavior to change), or horse picked up on plaintiff's nerves? With neurological diseases, that can happen at any time. This horse had EPM, caught from exposure to certain wild animals, and the ones they named aren't in the high desert. Contract is 'as is' no returns, no refunds. Plaintiff dumped the horse with some other person, and got another horse from that other person. Sadly, p. says the person she swapped the horse with would try to fix the horse, and sell him on, or keep him forever if he couldn't be fixed. Bull pucky, bet poor Tank was on a truck to the packing plant in Mexico the same week (only place you can send them for slaughter). Case 2-D. refuses to admit that backing into another car in the parking lot was his fault. Case 3-Another tenant landlord case) p. 133-134, https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/6835-the-peoples-court-general-discussion/?do=findComment&comment=5303455 11 April--“Room Rental Ruckus” 5/20/2019, Season 22 / Episode 131 Cases-Taking From A Tenant - Taxing A Client - Taking Way Too Long (Case 1-Landlord/tenant Case 2-Charges over $800 to do a return? Several seasons ago, a poundticipant went through the drive thru window at Taco Bell on her way home from having her weight loss surgery. I don't remember who, but she did. Amy Slaton ended up in the ER with each pregnancy from overeating.
-
Years ago, a fitness center opened in the mall, their neighbor was a Dairy Queen. Across the parking lot from Dr. Now's office is an all you can eat buffet. The array of food is massive.
-
I've read that the hormones when you're that big can do that. There have been quite a few poundticipants that seem to have hormone issues. I'm hoping Dr. Now's referrals include an Endocrinologist to find out what issues they may have, and many are probably diabetic, so a consult would be a good thing.
-
It depends on the scale. The old floor models have an adjustment dial and you can turn them below zero to get a lighter reading. The spring type also compress over time.

She got arrested with the boyfriend for having Weed and shrooms, and using it around the kids. Unfortunately, she got probation, but she did get banned from the safari park for life, and she looked shocked at that. At least Isaac is wearing clothes. More than you can say for a lot of poundticipants. 543, gained 4 lbs. So Irene lost 7 lbs and that's it.
-
My opinion, she shoved her arm into the front of the camel's mouth, not anywhere near the canine teeth that would have ripped her arm to shreds. I think that mark on her arm was from a knife, not anything resembling a bite from a camel.
-
As long as you don't combine demon grapes, with oranges, you should be fine. This is the next to the last WATN, I'm figuring it's the last of the series. Isaac is from Hutchins, TX. I'm hoping for Isaac to be a success story. I can't believe that breakfast he's having. Started at 611 lbs. Irene is from Houston. She's the one who lives with her son, sitting on the couch with no pants on.

Fixer To Fabulous - General Discussion

I'm liking what they're doing on the tornado damaged house tonight. "Transforming a Tornado Ravaged House" New, S7.E14. The couple seem so sweet. I like Dave building the indoor putting green for the husband that can be folded up between uses, that way he can use it your round. It's amazing what hides behind walls when they're ripped open. I live where a huge tornado came through a nearby town in 2007, and the number of homes that were destroyed. One common thing among the homeowners was it made them realize you shouldn't get attached to things, since they could be taken away in an instant. People who carefully picked out everything in the house that was destroyed, simply weren't that interested in furnishing the replacement house. It was a challenge for the contractors, and furniture salespeople, because the homeowners weren't that invested in choosing finishes, colors, and design on the new houses. -

9 April--“Rent Riot” 5/16/2019, Season 22 / Episode 129 (Another one that must have been preempted. Another one no one saw in 2019, so I guess I'll watch them tomorrow.) Case 1-Is That My Gas Or Yours? P. Anisa Barry suing d. for a gas leak in the house where plaintiff was renting a room from d. P. says the electrical issue could have triggered a fire from the gas leak. Suing for $4200 (all rent back, electrician fees, a road trip). D. counter suing for $900 in unpaid rent. (This was in L.A.) P. says when she unplugged her space heater the outlet sparked. Another roommate saw the spark, and said it was a safety issue. P. called an electrician, who gave a report about grounding and other electrical issues in the house. P. called the gas company, claiming her headaches were from gas leaks. There is also an intruder coming and banging on the windows of the house. P. claims the man hitting the windows was someone who was going to sleep on the d.'s side of the house in the living room. P. wants $200 for payment for driving the d.'s stuff to Dallas. Judge M gives electrician fees, some rent back, $600 to plaintiff. Defendant's case dismissed. (Judge M is wrong, taking rent out of security deposit is depending on the state). Case 2-- Not Getting Enough Money. P. Suing d. for value of a double headed indian gold coin p. gave to d. to value for her. She's suing $3500 value of the coin. D. says it was a common coin, p. wanted it sold, and he was to get anything over $300 to keep. He sold the coin for $309, gave p. $300, and kept $9. D. is counterclaiming for $7,000 in lost wages. P. claims online prices were $500 for gold weight alone, but has no proof about the value of the coin. P. says d. advertising his coin business online is phishing. The p. says defendant has a bad reputation from online reviews. She claims the American Neumismatic group told her to report d. to the state Attorney General. P. says d. has prior court cases, but didn't bring this to court. Judge M throws out the d.'s case. P.'s case thrown out. In the hall after the case, p. says it wasn't about the money, she just wanted the coin back. Case 3-- Souring On Spring Break-P suing d. for a spring break trip d. backed out of, and p. should get $900 is cancellation fees. D. says he couldn't get time off, never told p. to book the trip, and he owes nothing. The funny thing is p.'s mother is in the audience. P. loses. -
Lenore was on Crime Scene Kitchen and with her partner, won.

S2,E23 Don't Bully Me-P. sells American Bullies crossed with anything he wants to, claims they're registered, but mixed breeds aren't. He has no proof of the registration he claims his dogs have. He also sold a puppy to D. either for $750, d. claims that dog was a mixture of breeds so it should be free. JJ explains that a cross breed is a mixture of breeds, so it won't have only one breed. D. loses and has to pay up if he wants to keeps the puppy.

8 April “Too Full of a House” New, Season 11, Episode 116 (Andrew Gonzalez vs. Savanna Harrison) From the show site: The plaintiff says his ex-roommate's dog caused damage, and she moved out early without paying rent or repairs; the defendant argues that the damage was caused by the plaintiff's dog, and she moved out with consent after cleaning. Plaintiff Andrew Gonzalez suing defendant/ex-roommate Savanna Harrison for damages from defendant’s dog, early move out. Suing for $4,000. Defendant is counter claiming for $3,100, for lost wages, and $680 for destroyed personal property. Plaintiff wanted to transfer from the 2 bed / 2 bath to a smaller unit, but couldn't so he's suing for unpaid rent, utilities. Defendant claims the damages were from plaintiff’s dog, and she left rental in good shape and clean. She also says one morning she heard the fire alarm go off, saw the house full of smoke, and saw her two dogs caged in kennels. Defendant's blaming the stove incident on the plaintiff's dog. Plaintiff could have moved to the smaller apartment, and defendant needed to sign it,. Then defendant says she would have been a co-signer/tenant on the lease for the new place, but never would have lived there. Original idea was to have litigants, plus plaintiff's partner, and split the rent three ways. Then, defendant's boyfriend moved in, and split rent four ways, then defendant and boyfriend wanted to move to Vegas. D. refused to co-sign or claim she would be a tenant in the smaller apartment. Corriero asks why d. didn't pay the two months lease breaking fee. D. does brow tattooing and eyelash extensions, and at one time was working out of the apartment. $6,000 was the lease break fee, and apartment didn't charge that, and just terminated the apartment. P. Judge Juarez says split the lease termination fees. $3400 split evenly, $2400 in collections. So, she says each gets $3400, and split the $1200 in collections each. $3411 to plaintiff, includes half of the amount in collections, $1200. Defendant's claim dismissed. “Portal Combat” Rerun, Season 10, Episode 128 p. 47, 22 April 2024

8 April--“Bumper Crash Crisis“ 5/15/2019, Season 22 / Episode 128. Cases-Kissing A Bumper - Shocking A Tenant - Bilking A Biker p. No idea where this was posted previously. Case 1-Kissing a Bumper-P. suing D. for rear ended her, claims d. said she would pay for it without calling police or insurance, and d. didn't pay. P. calls police anyway. D. LaToya claims p.'s bumper was only kissed, and police showed, claims p. said bumper is $1400, but D. says that's ridiculous. Bumpers are expensive, and $1424 is reasonable. Judge M berates p. for moving the car before taking a photo or video. D.'s insurance coverage didn't exist either. P. gets her $1424 Case 2-Shocking a Tenant-P. suing d. for getting shocked by an appliance in the apartment he was renting from d. Suing for $5,000. D. claims p. had at least 15 people living in the small apartment, so she evicted him and claims he's suing her out of revenge, for $5,000. D. $4598 for unpaid rent, damages. D. claims the many people were there for Thanksgiving Day dinner, and the malfunctioning stove ruined dinner, blew the power, and no turkey dinner. P. claims there were burned boards under and around the oven. D. gave the p. a toaster oven, and wasn't going to replace the oven because the p. was getting evicted, not renewed. P. touched sink and stove, so a wiring issue, on New Year's Day (not Thanksgiving like p. said). P. also says no switch cover in the kitchen or bathroom, but an inspection is submitted saying switch plates are there. But the inspections aren't for p.'s apartment number. P. wants $1100 for emotional distress, because they went to a homeless shelter, because they were afraid of an electrical fire. Security deposit taken for the one month's rent. Plaintiff gets $200 for no oven for five weeks. P. says he's in a homeless shelter again. Case 3-Bilking a Biker-P. Bob Perry suing d. refusing to pay for a countertop, suing for $800. Defendant Adrienne says she rented the place to p. for a biker club, and then he did modifications, and didn't rent the place. P. would have been a subletter from d., but the club members had to vote on the rental. Then, p. says d's boyfriend said they had to charge by the time used, not just a monthly rental. D. let p. paint the place black, do the countertop, move stages, etc. around, and there was no sublease in place yet. Return wall hangings to plaintiff, from defendant, and no money for either side. -
7 April “Ruff Day” New, Season 11, Episode 115 (Natasha Hseih vs. Helen Fukumoto-Candelas and Richard Aguilar Jr) Natasha From the show site: A woman says her dogsitters' pet attacked her dog and they failed to take responsibility for the veterinary bill; the defendants say the vet added unnecessary treatments and the plaintiff colluded with the vet and animal control for financial gain. Plaintiff / dog owner Natasha Hseih suing defendants / pet sitters Helen Fukumoto-Caleras and Richard Aguilar Jr for vet bills after defendant’s pet attacked plaintiff’s dog. Despicable defendant claims vet bill was inflated, and claims that plaintiff, vet and animal control conspired against her for the money. Dog's wound wasn't treated for two days after the attack. Defendants didn't tell plaintiff about the attack, the injuries, or the lack of veterinary care. All Candelas did was use baking soda and water on the wound. Poor Judge Tewolde can't even look at the pictures of the wounds. Defendant Aguilar claims another vet who never saw the dog claims it was an abcess that was preexisting, and not from an attack. The photo of the dog is the same day plaintiff picked the dog up, because dog's wound area was shaved, and that happened the same day at the vet. I think Judge Juarez would gleefully punch out defendants, with Judge Tewolde helping. Then despicable defendants proudly announce they're holistic and think using water and baking soda was adequate treatment. Aguilar says no antibiotics should be used, even when it's infected. Aguilar treated a dog bite he received a few years ago with saline, and he didn't die, so he thinks saline works. Wonder if the IRS knows how much defendants make boarding dogs? And the state vet board knows defendants are treating animals with their looney 'vet care'? The dental extraction because x-ray showed the tooth of the attacking dog penetrated Seven's cheek, penetrated the tooth root causing the abcess, and requiring the removal of the tooth. Animal control report is submitted by defendant, and Aguilar claims animal control colluded with plaintiff and the vet to make money. Plaintiff receives $3395. All plaintiff didn't receive were her lost wages. “Jewel Citizenship” Rerun, Season 10, Episode 124 p. 47, 15 April 2024

I looked at TLC's website, new WATN 4/9 Isaac and Irene, 4/16 Michael (the agoraphobic martial arts guy, not Michael of Michael and Roni) and Lucas. Don't see anything listed after this. Interesting note, Dr. Now's next show The 6,000 lb diaries will be on Lifetime, there's another new show coming, Dr. Pimple Popper has a new one, also on Lifetime. So, now two left for Lifetime.
