  1. Did they say she was 9 months pregnant? I thought they just said she was on bedrest for being pregnant, but didn't say how far along she was. That said, I believe they filmed both seasons of Survivor last summer, so theoretically, Tony could have gotten home in September and gotten his wife immediately pregnant thereafter (I'm sure Tony, being who he is, had lots of "i've been gone for a month" make up sex), which would be 9 months ago. They started filming the Survivor seasons immediately back to back a couple of years ago in order to save costs. That's why the two seasons are held in the same area, likely using the same camp areas and same general tribal council area, with just some cosmetic changes. They film a season, take a week or two break, film next season, all in one summer. I was disappointed we didn't hear more from Kass at the reunion.
  2. I still think that is the case. That is why Tony won and Russell didn't (twice). Russell did many of the same things Tony did (lie, backstab), but, at least based on what we were shown, Russell was mean about it, whereas Tony wasn't shown as being mean. If Woo went up against Russell, Woo would have won because people did not want to give money to Russell. They didn't mind giving it to Tony.
  3. Yeah, I was pretty sure someone during the episode recorded Elliott during the song and posted it to youtube and that's where the fans all came from. I am amazed how fast things spread that way, but apparently it does happen. Nashville is big enough that a bunch of fan girls could have seen the video, instantly 'fallen in love' and chase him.
  4. Hilarious episode. I loved the ad graphics popping up. "Weather in Westeros: Winter is coming!" LOL I like the more European view of the news. Its nice to hear of events outside the US. The GM ad was great, as was the whole bit.
  5. Just started watching this show. I DVRd all the episodes during the marathon on Sunday and got through episode 3 so far. I agree that its been rather slow-going, but since I don't have to wait a whole week for each new episode, for the moment at least, I will keep watching. I have to admit that its hard telling all the redcoat/white hairs apart, so the more they kill/distinguish them, the better. I've got Simcoe down at least. I do like that the show is depicting that there were not very nice people on both sides of the war, that our 'freedom fighters' where not necessarily the most moral, good, virtuous people, but just regular men, trying to win a war by pretty much any means necessary.
  6. It could be that Cersei meets up with Maggy the Frog who reminds her of their prior meeting when Cersei was a teen and Maggy made her prophecy. It is now starting to come true. In other words, a lot of exposition.
  7. I'll give you the Schneider trying to pass the song off as his own in one day's time as ridiculous. But Kane having a flock of screaming fan girls overnight, yeah, I can believe that for sure. :) I do agree with you on the Scheherazade episode. Maybe Hodges can play violin, but it sure didn't look like he was playing that solo during the show. I can play a violin too, but not good enough for that solo. Listening to the commentaries, its interesting to find out how much the actors put into the show themselves in terms of ad libs and other little extras. CK also did quite a few stunts himself.
  8. Every season seems to have a gut-wrenching death and Oberyn's will be this season's. And yes, another death that could have been avoided too. Its really a shame, they did such a wonderful job in casting Oberyn, I liked him a helluva lot more on the show than in the book. Pedro Pascal was simply fabulous. It seems they alternate, to some extent, who is in each episode, so I don't expect we'll see Brienne and Pod in the next episode or Arya/Hound. I expect most of the Episode 8 will be the combat and aftermath, plus potentially the Sansa/Littlefinger resolution to Lysa's death. Plus we'll have to get something with Mance and/or Ygritte & Co. to set up for episode 9. Also probably a Bran scene.
  9. So, I am guessing that Nick can only regain his "Grimmness" through the blood of a relative Grimm, and its going to be that way everyone finds out Truble is Nick's sister (whole or half). I do wonder what Adalind will do when she finds out the Royals don't have her baby. Hell hath no fury like a hexenbiest scorned. I was surprised Renard didn't call Nick when he found Adalind breaking into their house. But obviously for plot purposes, he had to only tell Juliet aka Adalind.
  10. Well, if its an F3, its either going to be Woo or Spencer. My fear is it will end up as an F2 and the jury will have to hold their noses voting for either Kass or Tony, neither of whom they like, but it will come down to who they hate less. In that case, I would guess Tony because I think they will respect his "big moves" more than Kass' and because I think Kass pissed them off more.
  11. The only thing I can imagine is that Kate had something in her apartment that led to Jarred, though if she was that good at hiding info about Phillip and Elizabeth, would she also have hidden good info about Jarred? Maybe PE are 'worth more' than Jarred? Did Larrick follow Kate before he attacked her and saw her with Jarred? And then follow Jarred, which allowed him access to bug the backpack? Who else would have bugged the backpack? I have to assume Larrick bugged the backpack because otherwise how could he get the correct signal? Did he then presume Jarred, as a kid, was likely 'innocent' but somehow connected, so he watched Jarred and that's when he saw E, whom he either recognized, or at least suspected was also part of the spy network, so that's why he followed them? But then, why would he assume that E took J to a train station, as opposed to a bus station, or any other drop point? Did Larrick figure out who Jarred was (and how did he do that, in such a short amount of time?), and thus presumed that he was being moved by the Russians? There's just a lot of holes here.
  12. If there isn't a results show, how do you know who got voted off? Just tune in the following week to see who isn't performing?
  13. They've really captured the essence of Oberyn from the books and I'm going to miss him all over again after the combat trial.
  14. I'm hoping that bringing the IB into the show is a message that it was behind Balon's death and what happened in Oldtown (tho I think there has to be another player in Oldtown too, perhaps the Maesters). I know there has to be a third party involved, so the IB, wanting its money back, is a good choice.
  15. I don't understand why Yara didn't sink her sword into Ramsay's soft flesh in the good minute it would take him to unlock the dog cages, with his back turned. I mean really. It was nice seeing a new city in the opening credits. I wasn't expecting to see Braavos until next season, so that was a treat. Obviously, Littlefinger got the necklace back to Kingslanding in time for the trial. Or there was more than one necklace made. Yup, Cesei messed up Tywin's grand plan to get rid of Tyrion and get Jamie back.
  16. Oh that sounds execellent. I love Larry Wilmore's bits on TDS.
  17. Its all so stupid because its all just a marketing ploy by the company or producer that sponsors the particular product.
  18. I'm starting to think that Larrick did kill Emmet and Leanne and he just lied about it to Phillip and Elizabeth. It may not have been planned, its possible that he just happened to see them at the hotel or in the area and followed them to their room. He just has the cold-bloodedness that I could see would have no problems also killing their daughter.
  19. I don't think the pin was bugged. Oleg gave it to Nina before he found out about her treason. I too was surprised that Larrik killed Kate so quickly. I would have expected him to torture her for info, which would require him to make her unconscious and get to a different locale. But I'm sure I heard a vertebrae crack. I liked the two clues Kate left, the up toilet seat and the empty toilet paper roll. It was easy for Elizabeth to agree to the nuke protest. She liked the cause and it provides an activity for Paige.
  20. "Fcx News, Fair and Balanced. A great point, if that were true." Yup, that's why its Faux News.
  21. Ok, so that's a change. Well, if Spencer gets to the F3, if he wins the IC all the way through (as I think they'll vote him off the first chance they get or they should), I think he'll win. Barring that, I'd have to guess Tony. I just don't see Kass or Trish winning, Kass pissed off too many jury members and Trish seems like the typical non-entity coat rider that usually gets 0 votes. Even if its Woo instead of Tony, those two still lose, imo, as overall, I think Woo has made a better impression than Trish.
  22. Why would that be a spoiler? LF had already said in a prior episode that they were heading there because he was going to marry Lysa. And it can hardly be considered a "spoiler" when the locale is actually going to happen in that episode. I thought I recalled that in the book, Lysa and Robin didn't know Sansa's true identity because LF was afraid of anyone knowing about it spilling the beans. Frankly, even if he could trust Lysa, how in the world could he trust crazy Robin? It would be very easy for Robin to make a mistake in calling Sansa "Sansa".
  23. Yeah, there's no reason whatsoever for an assistant to not tell her boss about a client call, even if asked to by another partner. And it was a lousy excuse. Because Diane might forget? So what's the harm in telling her the client called and David Lee handled it? Loved Diane's reaction to it, and not believing Canning once he said he didn't want pity. Bwa! Lauged a bit at Alicia's problems with the TV. Sometimes it is too complicated with all the different remotes and equipment. And her mom needs to tell her friend specially, don't come before X time.
  24. I like how this show and Continuum, show groups with good ideals, but awful methods. It really makes one think (and maybe hope) that those in power will take note that if things don't change, these kind of groups may really come into existence (since more peaceful methods like Occupy Wall Street haven't had much success). There does appear to be someone or something behind Vigilence and yes, who is it, a human, or a machine? I wouldn't be surprised at all if Nathan resurfaced, since technically Harold (and we) never saw his body and if Harold could 'disappear', so could Nathan. I remember the Cabin guy getting released by Root, and his story, as they were fairly recent, but I totally forgot about the other guy. I'd love to rewatch that episode. Was that this season? I don't think CBS has any prior seasons available (I used to have to make absolutely sure I DVR'd this show because it wasn't available on the web).
