I’ve never liked Lu until the last few seasons (well despite the Tom parts) and I think part of it was because I never liked her kids... this makes me like them less

She reminds me a lot of Taylor from the first season. Taylor was constantly showing us how wealthy and special her marriage was. It came across super fake and “trying to hard” even amongst these ladies. Dorit to me is the same, she tries really hates to seem like she perfect. Maybe it’s just how she is?

This episode was dull but kinda weirdly entertaining... Lu goes shopping at cache, that store at the mall where every slut with a recently-divorced mom got their prom dress.... Tins spent the whole time talking about her BF and their commitment but we never saw... Romana is a tiger, Sonja likes to be spanked, Bethany is desirable by all men, Carole is desirable again per Adam Dorina goes to church to talk about plans for the next night Luanne talking vaguely about going to Florida and staying there for longer than expected, the cracking herself up was hilarious...as was the Edit of Tins being wined and dined!

ITA with the others that her hairstyle is so much prettier as is the back of her dress. Meanwhile I just got traumatized realizing that Josiah has probably never slept with only 1 other person in the same room as him (much less the same house/residence). It’s peobabkg true for almost all the kids except the oldest. It must be really different and lonely for them. Good grief never kissing to sex is a huge 12 hour rush but even simple stuff seems really crazy.

I refuse to believe Jill was okay with Jessa having #2 before her. She clearly loves getting engaged/married before Jessa despite their courtship starting after Jessa’s. I wonder how much longer JB is gonna be okay with Dilly making no money and living off of him.

Yes! If you go back on YouTube and watch the siblings talk about Smuggars’ molestation and cheating , half of them can’t form sentences. I mean I get there were upset but their tenses and phrasing was dreadful!

^^this reminds of a night years ago when my BFF, her 18 month old son, and I were eating dinner in our hometown. One of our high school classmate’s mothers (whom we hadn’t seen in maybe 10 years) comes over to berate my best friend for allowing her 18 month old to eat chicken fingers and French fries. What business it was of hers I still don’t know... But perhaps It’s a tad different considering Jessa is a reality tv star and is posting it online

Well that is terrible and I sincerely hope not just A/J but all the kids brought up in this abuse will find a less terrible way themselves to parent.

I know I’ve read real life accounts (people that know and live in the Duggar community) and they have all said the Forsyths including Austin are all very good, nice, genuine people. Perhaps the camera is just always getting Austin on a bad day but he seems over it. Joy seems to have drunk a whole gallon of koolaid. She’s even got Michelle’s breathy voice down... I think Austin realizes he’s trapped, whether that’s in his marriage, Duggarland drama, or just trapped doing these TV interviews. Im sure it must be daunting. 18 months ago, he was only supporting himself. I’d assume as a single guy who doesn’t gamble or drink, he’d not have major overhead. Flipping homes isn’t exactly stable money but for a single guy in rural AR, he was good! Now, he’s responsible for a baby and a wife. Joy seems to have become very dependent and emotionally needy since dating Austin. Not sure if that’s for show but she seems super clingy and needy.

Michelle’s hair in the wedding photo looks awful. The wet look is not her friend. I agree with whoever said Joy looks like Jess’s with the hair and them boobs are out of control! Still I like her hair! Anna looks nice. So do Joe/Kendra. Glad and they didn’t make ever seen sister law part of the wedding. It’s so unnecessary and fake.

Jills were ugly but Jessa’s to me were worse! Those weirdly bright peachy dress with the weird roushed dress. #tragic

Just read that David Foster is engaged to Katherine McPhee. I believe she was on one of the reality shows for singing. This will be his 5th marriage...good grief. Per the Daily Mail, she’s 35. The same age as his 4th oldest kid!

The bridesmaids dresses are good so far. Nothing can ever be as bad as Jessas hot peach scrunched mess!

The pictures are horrid but I’m almost more out off by their names. Not a single one of the kids names goes together, some are perfectly fine names but their first and middle together is just such odd combos. They all sound weird except maybe Timothy David.

This year I’m just so confused by Carole. Her outfits are like some weird mix of country club high school girl trying to rebel with expensive ugly clothes while dating a guy with a motorcycle & a woman trying to wear her daughters clothes after her husband leaves her. Then her attitude is so aloof and moody. Shes not fun anymore. She’s just running....

Maybe something is wrong with me but I don’t mind Michelle’s dress. Dont get me wrong, it super unflattering and a weird thing to wear to a wedding much less your own son’s wedding. However, I’m so glad it’s not that dreadful blue dress she wears to half her kids weddings or the grey/silver unflattering one she wears to the rest of the weddings. This is at least vibrant and lively and new.

Well since Kod-man put out that he wasn’t porking Wife1, it’s kinda natural to wonder. plus it’s alwats been an unspoken part of the show. “This man has sex with all these womenfolk” the show would been way more interesting if who and how often was allowed to be mentioned on the show. Y’all know these women know when their man is getting it from the others..

If I was Kendra I’d offer to stay home in my quiet, cool house with food and seats!

I think Josiah will feel the need to have a baby ASAP if to do nothing but prove he’s having sexual relations with his wife. This whole marriage feels like a show or something he’s supposed to do. Having a baby is the next step to prove that he’s a man and following God *cough* JB’s plan!

I believe her first husband and she lived there for a years. I even think Hannah was born there. I swore she said at one time that Richard lived in London seperate and apart from her which is why they both liked to go back so often but no clue where I even got that from

Even before the first special aired, the Duggars were already a known commodity on the evangelical circuit. They would often get anywhere from 500-1200 bucks from love offerings. They’d typically go to that church in the am with a teaser for the night (kids playing one song), get fed by the church at lunch and/dinner with a covered dish, then they’d be the headliners for Sunday night. They’d play their violins as a family, do a couple of songs on the piano and then Michelle would give her pro-life testimony with JB interrupting her throughout. Still, she was the headliner! Their whole gig revolved around Michelle being pregnant and or just having a baby even back then! So I think they would have had as many. I think for Michelle, being pregnant and or a new mom became her identity and she couldn’t give that up. I still don’t think she has given it up!

I think Jinger would side with her hubby because 1) she’s gotten away (as much as you can) from fundieland. Shes hours and hours away, living in a home, wearing pants, and seemingly in love with her man and 2) JB and J’chelles raised (brainwashed?)their daughters to be obedient to their husbands. The girls only goal is to get married to a righteous Godly man and have babies and babies. I think JB pictured all his sons-in-Law being obedient to him in return but didn’t count on anyone being able to survive independent of his money and or influence.
