^^Meri looked awful. Janelles ill-fitting too is to be expected. She never wears flattering clothes but I do like the color on her and the hat.

Wedding attire: Beautiful wedding dress and wedding! It was the first not crappy looking wedding! Christine looked amazing! I thought the hats on Janelle and Robyn looked good! Kody in the mini kilt actually didn’t look as bad as he normally does! Meri’s hair looked BAD! It looked so unkempt. But she probably expected it to be like Freezing outdoor fake flower disaster or hipster hoedown wedding where her “rolled out of bed look” would have fit right in!

Interesting! I could totally understand if some of the kids got into a charter type school. None of the adults have seen educated to me but they clearly all (well except Christine) seem to value education. Ive always assumed Christine and Robyn were homeschooled based on their families and the secret nature of their upbringing

Is it true that some of the kids are actually in different school districts and therefore attending different schools for the same grade? If that’s true, this move is really bringing the family closer together!

Good grief at this episode. With the amount of gas spent going back and forth to AZ for all these trips and with all these cars, they could have paid for an extra mortgage. Kody gets the property and then starts whining about missing his kids due to rentals, moving away from Axel, and all the work. So stupid...he is doing this all himself. Nobody is forcing him into this, there is no real reason to do this. & how much money realistically is adding gas and water/sewer lines for his area or maybe it’s well water? Meri is being financially smart for once. Now that she’s making money via leggings, I think she understands how expensive everything is & how crazy their budget is.

I have a friend who works at a Convention center in CA. They had some sort of LLR convention there and Meri was there. She was treated like a B list celebrity and signed bunches of leggings and apparel! Convention center security had to escort her around. She didn’t speak in any official capacity and kept saying she had to go pack for vacation. She did tell people LLR made her self sufficient. Meri ain’t getting off the legging train til the caboose falls off!

I keep harping on this but... 4 houses with mortgages due in Vegas...bare minimum of $2000 a month. Plus taxes, insurance, etc. Vegas: $10,000 minimum Based on what we know, rent/mortgage for Flagstaff property (and I’m way low) is 3K per property a month. Flagstaff:$ 12,000 minimum Property they bought including angels singing was $850,00. payment per month even with an amazing down payment would have to but nuts. Flagstaff property: $3000 minimum. They are spending at a minimum $25,000 a month on property... That’s not counting B&B monies and assuming they at least break even at the Lehi house.

Kody always reminds me of my ex pastor. He was kicked out of the ministry at the church after mine... He has HUGE ideas but no planning or follow through then would get angry that his BIG PLAN wasn’t fufilled and blame everyone else for not following him. My favorite was when he wanted to throw a back to school bash for 25,000 kids. The problem was 1) there are only 7K students enrolled in the whole county, he has no concept of the amount of space, parking, money, security/traffic persons, it would take. His plan was have 50 bags of chips and 1 bouncy house. Kody gets these okay ideas in concept (moving to a quieter place with more plig families). But his idea becomes stupid really fast. They both are little boys who don’t care or don’t know how the real world works.

Logan more than the rest of them (kids and adults) always seemed to be liked and loved and respected by everyone. As the oldest and the only boy for the first 5 kids or so, I think he saw more than the other kids, the emotional toll this marriage took on the original 3 wives. I get he’s an adult but it has to be crazy for all 20+ members of his family to move at one time, away from him.

I think the Browns are gonna have less than a year before they have to start declaring bankruptcy once the show $ ends. Its not just about the show ending but all the kids aging out as well. Years ago my friend who is a tax lawyer showed me how these people have so much money. Janelle & Christine would have filed as head of household. Each had 6 dependents. Janelle was working and would have “paid” Christine money to watch the highest # kids without needing a buisiness license or state supervision. Most places that is 4. Christine would “earn” enough $ to become eligible for earned income tax credits. Janelle meanwhile has lost a ton of her income due to payment for child care. She also now qualifies for earned income tax credits. Add in 6 dependents each & they both walk away with huge refund checks. Married Kody and Meri has Meri who wasn’t working and Mariah as a dependent plus they’d claim mortgage and all other deductions. Then say your church meets at your home aka Duggars and you’ve got a couple thousand more! Add Robyn with 3 kids who wasn’t working and we’ve got a small gold mine of interesting tax exemptions. Then start random ass business that will never turn a profit for some more deductions! They are small business owners now even if they do no business! Per my friend, that’s how a lot of plig families file taxes (if they do at all) and would give back the $ to the leader of the sect they follow.

So it snows in May in Flagstaff and so can I assume they will sit inside all winter long there?
