Any guesses on baby names for #3. I’m Methodist and we don’t have many ~exciting~ names for Ben to pick from. Wesley doesn’t exactly meet up to Spurgeon and Wilberforth. Jessa clearly likes more normal names like Elliot and Henry. If it’s a girl, I’ll stay with my guesses for Ginger/Jeremy. Some kind of flower with some kind of fruits of the spirit. Lily Grace, Rose Faith, Ivy Love, etc

I think Anna has no real concept of what she wants. She kissed the first boy she ever married, after she married him. Whatever G rated version of the molestion she was told (I still don’t buy that story but whatever) wasn’t accurate. I mean the Duggar’s built a house to stop the molestation and made that rule that boys had to sleep in their dress clothes for bedtime....I digress She marries this fundie “Star”, becomes this quasi-famous reality show star with the perfect marriage and family to prove that her life was superior to all dem sinners out there. Then they move to DC. She’s alone and I’m sure exhausted but they are also fixing America and making sure abortions stop and gays aren’t on tv so it’s for the Lord. Then everyone else finds out Josh is a pedo. He loses his job, their place in fundie world spirals. Then it ends up Josh has been cheating in his heart or in his car or whatever with strippers. She had to move back to Arkansas as her father in law does his best to keep the gravy train going. She’s pregnant with baby4. Her husband is a worldwide joke. She can’t leave because of Jesus and she has no other employable skills because staring up at men adoringly and beginning seamstress. It then becomes her fault that her husband cheated on her. She has to forgive him and blame herself because Jssus. Now baby5 is growing up. Multiple sister in law are married to men who are on television. There have been half a dozen Duggar weddings and honeymoons and babies. Most of her s-I-l have more supportive husbands who are also not cheating on them or pedophiles. Any depression or regret is sinful. Any resentment towards Josh is sinful. IMO shes so suppressed and beaten down (by her own moral and religious ideals of what she is supposed to be) that she has no idea how she actually feels.

Everyone’s marriage is different...I just hope they both are happy & don’t have kids for a while. I think between their ages and what I perceive as other issues, kids would not be ideal right now. Of course to prove whatever to JB, something tells me they are “trying”. and yay for a clean house!

I’m mid thirties and it’s “Mama” & “Daddy” as though it’s their name. So when referring to them in a conversation it’s “mama is at the store” “daddy is at church”.

Whoa! My parents are mid 60s and look WAY younger! Anna’s mama has always looked old to me. Having that many kids & no money has to be stressful!

We know it couldn’t have been molestesting his siblings cause JB seems okay with that.. Maybe he thought an age appropriate female was pretty or was caught watching CNN!

My guess is Christmas is the Duggar Holiday cause Jesus...and lots of filming stuff. My daughter is 15 months and I would LOATHE a thanksgiving where I had 271937 other kids there. Loved my 5lbs of potatoes, dressing and a quiet thanksgiving with a 7:1 adult to kid ratio!

After watching the wedding episode online.... Lauren & Josiah’s singing was unnecessary. At one point the camera went to Austin and his face said what I was thinking, “Why is this happening?” Like Abbie didn’t have 1 person who could actually sing this song? The chairs at the church were ugly. Abbies parents seemed normal (YAY) I couldn’t help but feel sorry for Jana when she was repeating back everything people said about JD being so old and not marrying. They seem legit happy. I do NOT believe they’ve never kissed.

^^ITA about Heather. Real Housewives was conceived as a look into the gated communities of the rich where housewives and women in general lived an exciting and lavish lifestyle. Its turned into divorcees living beyond their means! Heather has actual money and was able to act a tad more mature than college juniors at Ft Laurerdale for spring break!

Everytime I check this messageboard and see Josiah/Lauren’s thread posted up top, I always make a face... A please don’t be pregnant but you probably are face... This couple more so than any other couple except Pedo & Anna bother me and worry me

Welp, I can definitely say Joy and I celebrated our 21st birthdays very differently....

Halloween is the devils holiday. Chick-fil-a is God’s waffle fries place.

I also think Anna liked the DC job. I think she was lonely in some ways but It seemed either her sisters or his sisters came to visit her every few weeks. Jana and Jessa helped out tremendously and stayed up there for a week or two at a time. I think for Anna, being in DC was Josh being on the forefront of the abortion and family values fight. It’s everything she’s been taught to value and uphold! I think Anna for her own sake thinks Josh has changed. She’s happy with her babies and whatever her marriage is right now. She’s stuck in it so might as well make the best of it. My assumption is Josh will rebel sooner rather than later. He’s been the favorite, the oldest, the one who isn’t responsible for anything...he won’t last very long under JB’s leash and TLC refusal to air him.

Also why was Michelle crying so hard? Ive never thought of Josiah as one and of her favs and I haven’t seen her cry a ton at the other weddings? and I did like the tables and actual flower arrangements. It wasn’t a parking lot wedding but it will have to do!

Josiah looked pained when he saw Lauren at the first look. It was like he was really trying to say the right things while being shocked. I had a friend whose grandpa died a few hours before her wedding. The close family decided not to tell her until after the ceremony. Her parents trying to be happy for her and not let on their sadness before the wedding so as to not ruin the day. Josiah reminded me of their faces that day. Austin giving marriage advice... mmkay... Lauren’s hair looked different everytime she was shown tonight. Always love hair down for a wedding but put some hairspray in it!

^^ any woman over 34 who is pregnant is automatically considered a high risk pregnancy. Babies have a higher risk of many genetic abnormalities and a greater risk of a child being born premature. Most parents who over that age didn’t have the oppurntity before to have baby (didn’t get married or with their partner until later, financially couldn’t afford the baby, etc) but they already have 7 kids..I just don’t get the risk at that point

^^agrees! Kendra’s parents came off as kinda creepy in this episode. We were hoping for another baby after our first got knocked up! Yay! These people use “seasons of life” like the rest of us use the words “the” and “and” yet they feel the need to have kids well after it safe and advisable to do so...embrace your grandparent and having kids out of diapers stage!

It is super creepy to realize Josh was at the gender reveal.. I know it happens everyday as many times molesters are family members but it is still sickening to think Gingers baby reveal of a little girl happened while the man who molested her is eating cake

Josiah’s over the top reaction to kissing Lauren is just...a little boy trying too hard to prove how happy and in love and lust he is... I won’t be shocked if Lauren is already pregnant and won’t be shocked if they still haven’t had sex. The evangelical movement has started encouraging couples to go at their own pace once married and many suggest planning on not having sex on your wedding night. The idea is basically “to ensure you are pure get married way too fast then wait til you are ready physically.” Tis better to get married way too early when you both are super immature than risk going to 3rd base with your significant other.

The more I think about it, the more I’m convinced Carole is just an upper West side snob. She rarely works. 2 books in 15 years and 1200 words a month one time a year doesn’t a working woman make. I think Dorinda & Bethany (and for that matter Jill & Heather) have people that arent super wealthy or trying to pretend to be super wealthy around them through their businesses and/or life. They at least can see not everyone precieves things the same way. I live in the South but the weekend after the 2016 general election I was in Manhattan for a wedding. Plenty of people were upset about Trump winning (I didn’t vote for the guy either). but we all went to work the next day. Some of my friends at the wedding (who lived in NYC) had their jobs allow them bereavement from work, one girl in a masters Program said all but one of her clases has been cancelled for the remainder of the week. Hell one of the wedding guest kept saying “this wedding is ruined, poor bride and groom”. I was in the bathroom and there was literally a drunk girl sobbing over the election. This was a 100K wedding and it was he weirdest thing ever. The bride (one of my BFFs) and I still joke about her having a funeral instead of a wedding. Carole is starting to remind me of that wedding. Carole just seems so out of touch. The words bullying or ageism being tossed around is idiotic in these fights. Don’t even get me started on that Instagram post about skinny being offensive...
