  1. I enjoyed this week’s show, had a few laughs. I hope they actually stopped to see Graham’s castle!
  2. Yes, I am sad that there is only 1 more episode after this one!
  3. I agree with SassAndSnacks, Jamie is teaching Claire what love & relationships really are. I mean I don't think she knew what a soul mate was until Jamie. Did she love Frank? Could she love him again? We are spoiled to the fact that Claire does indeed see Frank again, & once parted from Jamie she will maybe understand what was real love?
  4. I see Jamie as the more emotionally vulnerable partner, & this episode had everyone questioning how much she loves Jamie, I mean how could she ask that of him? My husband always reminds me that Jamie was created by a woman!
  5. As a Canadian I would wholeheartedly enjoy that!
  6. I always think of it as Claire & Jamie’s story ! I know it sort of started out as Claire’s but as soon as she married him, I hoped somehow it was for the long haul! Jamie’s happiness is always my main concern actually. If you loved the dialogue from their fight & makeup scenes, you will continue to love most of their intimate interactions. Most of my favourite episodes & scenes contain these kinds of moments, for me they are the essence of the show, not silly plots! I am glad you also understood Jamie! I always took this as Jamie got “excited” at the whorehouse, but came straight home to share “it “ with Claire, naive new husband that he is! I mean I understood Claire being mad too, but the fact that he was truthful about it Is something? The bite marks would have made all the more sense had he been wearing his kilt !I love how they just hash things out & get it over with!
  7. At the rate these two get hurt, they should be very careful with that penicillin!
  8. Poor Graham - he was genuinely scared of abseiling! Poor Sam - the midges are in the Van now too? Poor Sam again - that a$$ shot from the Wedding was just plain gratuitous. Although I doubt he minded, but there’s Starz fan service at its best or is that worst! I actually thought this one was so choppy, we are on our way to lewis but we never got there, because we cut away to Loch Ness, then Skye, then Ben Lomand , then back to Skye..... It’s so beautiful, except the rain, clouds, & midges, damn those midges! My hubby has a sweater just like Sam’s & I like it on him, but my daughter always says “ why are you wearing your old man sweater? “ Lol! Bring on on the Outtakes! One more thing, we didn’t get the Outlander season 6 clip, or the next MIK episode clip in Canada- Boo!
  9. One of the big things I read into Jamie’s frustration with Claire working at the hospital was some sexual frustration. Hear me out- those 2 are off kilter all because they aren’t connecting in the bedroom ( with good reason). This is usually where they talk over everything and Jamie is staying out night & day to avoid her advances I think ( also to work their cause). They work best together! It seemed ooc for Jamie because usually he is so proud of her medical skills.
  10. I love that you think this about Jamie after only knowing him for a season!
  11. The best parts of this episode were Jamie & Claire’s moments! I loved that “horny “ Claire was mad she would not be sharing a cabin with Jamie, & then their moonlit talk, & their below deck romp were perfection. Good thing they are back on track!
  12. In 111, when Claire tells Jamie where/when she came from, she says she told him the whole story which I assume includes that Frank is a descendant of Jack.
  13. I think she was a mistress NOT the queen!
  14. I watched SAS Red Notice. It’s not bad. I like action movies ( context my fave action movie ever is probably Speed). There was a little character development for Tom ( Sam’s character)& also the “bad guys”. It may have been a little long, with a bit much fighting, & darkness ( I mean the lighting). Sam looks great, & there is room for sequels.
  15. Loved your paragraph about Frank at his giving-est!
  16. Season 2's opener was a gut punch! ( I can't bear to have left Jamie!) I was waiting impatiently for you to get here too, because no one expects this, right? I think after this episode I was compelled to keep going at a crazy rate! I remember "all my friends texting me saying how can Claire return to Frank & even look at him & not think of Jack?? I wonder how this marriage will go? They should tell Murtagh the truth! She is agreeing to go home with Frank-because she said she promised Jamie!
  17. They only got to play their real ages for one episode each (Claire graduating med school, Jamie at Hellwater). I love that they "seem" older but still look great! 50 is not so old!
  18. I loved that after Jamie rescuing Claire several times earlier in the season, she gets the chance to rescue him back, proving her love, & as BlackJack mentions is a fit match for her husband.
  19. I have seen the wedding dress in real life ( it’s on display at Sony Studios in LA) & it is kinda taupe ( beige & grey), but it has silvery threads running through it, (& the leaf embroidery is silver ) so that might cause the bluish tones. I too adore the look on Jamie’s face when she touches him then! These are the looks I am talking about that one might miss on the first watch but that are so important. Both Sam & Cait are gifted actors.
  20. Agreed, what I love is seeing a different perspective especially with motivation in a character!
  21. @Beeyago, @Anothermi, Nope, This epi put me on the Claire fan girl train, nothing will stop her from rescuing her husband, she is bold, & brave, & determined!
  22. My favourite way is an iPad & headphones in the dark!
  23. An important point I missed saying is that you have to actually watch the show & see everyone’s faces. My one friend likes to just have it on while she runs around doing stuff, I can’t imagine you get anything out of it that way!
  24. One thing I’d like to comment on is the phenomenal acting in 115 & 116 by Sam, Cait, & Tobias. I think one of the reasons it’s so hard to watch is that it feels too real. I think we can often separate an actor from their character when something happens to them, but this is one show where these actors embody their characters!
