“Mutton dressed up as a lamb”- Claire Was my fave line of the night! I need to watch it again because I hosted a premiere party & watching it with 6 people made that love scene feel awkward! I guess Claire’s advice to Marsali on how not to get pregnant didn’t work!

A couple more hours to go here....

I am going to watch this tonight ! Am I going to be the only person who has not read the book?

When I sell everyone I know on this show I always start out with how fine the acting is! (I know some people lead with the sex, lol) These people make you feel these characters like no others on Tv- am I wrong on this? Sorry this is not about this episode although it is one of my favourites, for exactly that reason.

I did not read the books before the TV show, & won’t continue the books until after each season. I knew Brie & Roger might time travel in future seasons as soon as they heard the buzzing in 213. I am generally not a fan of sci-fi so I am glad it’s only a small part of each season. The part I love about it is Jamie not knowing words Claire uses, I wish he asked her about more future things! It is very hard to not be spoiled when all the books are well known. Most of my friends have not read ahead so that helps. They all hope Jamie & Brie get to meet. Before reading the books, I had no idea it was life threatening, so non readers probably think it’s easy!

Thanks for explaining it all! I have never been to a comic con- Outlander is probably the only “sci-fi” show I have ever been into. It seems like too much waiting in lines for very little reward. And it would have been nice for you to know in advance an Outlander schedule & perhaps you’d have seen more? Was it cool though to see the stars in real life? I’ve enjoyed that part ( concerts, plays, meet & greets), it makes them so much more real people to me!

Nidratime, was it an exciting, interesting episode? Did you enjoy the panel? Did you have to spend all day in a lineup?

I actually think it’s way too much makeup freckles, not dirt? I prefer his real complexion!

Midsummer Murders was the only thing I could find out of Sam’s work on Netflix, so watched that awhile ago, & then the new movie last weekend Have not seen anyone else in anything, perhaps because I live in Canada & they will have mostly appeared in British shows?

My friends & I took our teenagers to the Spy Who Dumped Me last night! The 19 yr old girls think Sam is hotter as a blonde & without a kilt! The movie was fun! Lucky Mila - kissing Sam at work & Ashton at home!

I binge watched all 3 seasons when I discovered it, and then wouldn’t stop talking about it so my hubby decided he would like to watch it. He really liked it & is looking forward to next season, but I think I will have to watch them alone on first view as he makes funny & ridiculous comments & sometimes ruins the tender, sexy, sad moments. Is yours the same?

I just watched “ the Fox’s Lair “last night ( finally got my husband to watch the show), & when Jamie is talking to baby Kitty, Jenny says to Claire something about knowing what it’s like to talk to them before they are born so she clearly knows about them losing Faith. I do not remember if it’s talked about in the book. I realize I am a few yrs late with this answer! I wish I found this show, & this board years ago. Such an interesting thread!
