  1. My love for AC will never die. I didn't think he was going to make it through the list at some points last night. Very sad. My local news did something last night when it ended that I'd never seen them do before, had 49 people on the street read the names, ages, and a tidbit about each of the victims. Very humanizing and affecting.
  2. I"m pretty sure his mom is being played by Sam Bee, the voice a lot like hers and we saw her in the (second?) episode where they stayed in the motel. Really like this show too!
  3. Agreed! The Britney opening included lots of songs, I was excited and expecting something like that to celebrate Prince, not the dirges that were performed in full.
  4. I did like the last one about the music, I'd never noticed the 'theme music' that for each character. Will be listening for those more closely now. The podcast I've discovered that gives a show recap with some analysis that I don't mind is this one. This week they had a great theory about the Russians/Gaad meeting, hope it pans out.
  5. I like the podcast to hear about the background stuff like music cues, etc. but I wish they'd discuss the episode itself more and analyze it. I've found a couple of podcasts that do this but the people are rather annoying...
  6. Wow, does Jesse look like Marco Rubio or what!
  7. Just listened to AC on Howard Stern's show from mid-April, he said his estranged half-brother has made contact with his mom and full brother recently. That's nice to hear.
  8. GTFO with your iPad re-gifting, Kendall. I would bet $1M that she received that herself in a gift suite or swag bag, not like she put so much thought on what to give Rob for Christmas for the FIRST TIME EVER. The one who should be mad about Rob hanging out with BC is Kylie, and she doesn't seem to GAF.
  9. That was one of Gloria's theories as well: from this article http://www.nytimes.com/1996/05/26/books/letting-go.html
  10. Good point. Just discovered this blog, from someone who knew Daniel before the murders who got back in touch with him in jail: http://danielwozniakismyfriend.com/
  11. Oh, forgot to add - I think he was itching to be released for the wedding so that his accomplice (Rachel) would have immunity from testifying against him! Surprised he didn't try to plead insanity.
  12. Wow that was rather disturbing, wasn't it? I do think the girlfriend knows more than she let on, but what's keeping Dan from spilling the beans about her involvement now? She was way too calm in the confession video. What doesn't make sense is the reason that he killed to get the $60K to pay for the wedding, when Rachel says her parents were paying for the wedding? And how did he not think the bank card would be traced?
  13. So when did Noah and Margaret get to be so chummy again they're toasting with Xanax and champagne? That was out of the blue. Should we think the Xanax plays any part of Noah's memory of events later that day? Also, how far after the accident is the trial taking place? Is it the following summer? I'll have to rewatch the flashforwards from season 1 during the detective questioning. And really, the grand re-opening of Lockhart's Lobster Roll is in SEPTEMBER? After all the summer traffic is gone? So they were closed down renovating during the busiest season? Great planning there, business partners.
  14. Yep, remember his mom was banging Cole upstairs in her room when her husband walked in on them?
  15. Now that we know about the ownership of the Lobster Roll, how can Oscar and Richard Schiff assume the 'baby' that Scotty was talking about is Joanie, and not the restaurant that Alison and Cole (and possibly Scotty) now co-own? An actual baby was all we, the viewer, could assume when that big reveal happened a few episodes back, but where the show is right now in time, there is plausibly more than one thing that is a valuable joint asset between Alison and the Lockharts? My theory could indeed be blown to bits if it is revealed next episode that Alison gives up her co-ownership, but that's been bothering me...
  16. You know what, I think the dinner table confession from Meri is about the medical tests/'cancer' and not the catfishing. This show is notorious for bait-and-switches. As if Meri would bring up the catfish thing in the middle of a busy restaurant...
  17. Thanks for the link to that article, AC. It is a very good read and shows how important the show has become to the economy of the town. In the coming years, I wonder how much pressure Vivian will feel to keep the show going in order to keep all these businesses afloat....
  18. Six weeks?!? I missed that... I'd like to go back and hear it, did she mention that in one of her voice mails she left?
  19. THANK YOU! I thought that either I was going crazy or that this show had really screwed up. On the last episode with Cole’s POV, we saw him drive Helen’s father home in the daylight, and that was where he almost backed over the kid / met Luisa for the first time. That scene has thrown me for weeks, since I couldn't figure out who that kid would be and why they would be at his house. But we also saw Cole at night, driving drunk/scrawny/cheating/rich wife home – which is apparently where he actually met the kid and Luisa. So I’ve fanwanked that Cole was making those trips while he was drunk/high and he’s mixed up these encounters in his mind - ???
  20. I'm liking this season so far, I didn't expect an episode on casseroles. So the overachiever had to bring 15 things to the homecoming just to make sure they were on the table? Looks like she didn't have to do that. Seaweed hair - she was pretty upset about that comment, why did the bow-tied host feel he had to tell her about that?
  21. And it's too bad there was nowhere in Laguna Beach where he could buy those things in order to use the surfboard he lugged all the way from NV. Ugh...
  22. I'm obsessed with the real dates on this show, and am trying to figure out how much they monkey with the timeline. Agreed, there was a shot of a sign about the Pirate event and that took place in April. Robyn has said on Twitter that she's due January 7th. But the pirate boat race didn't happen around the time when Robyn's kids biodad signed away his rights: apparently that happened on Aurora's birthday (June 4), so R would have been 3 months pregnant by then.
  23. Did you know you could rent the Cook's Country house in Vermont? It sleeps 12! http://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p3495156
