They really are pretty dumb. Anyone with 1/2 of brain would do the math before buying 4 plots of land in regards to sewer/septic/utilities and the costs involved just doing that. They must be doing another ARM or something to afford Christines 500K home and Sobyn's 900K home plus the land at what 800K ?
