When she had her RV parked out on the Plague Pass, she found that she could just hire people to come fill her water tank & empty the sewage tank weekly, do maintainance and drive it back to storage facility at the end of the season. Much more reliable than waiting for Kootie to stop by once per summer.

or: you've got time to fix your eyebrows .... not like that! I sure hope that's the last of the labour footage. We don't need to see that a million more times.

You heard it correctly. I wonder what happened to his fitness goals the year that he developed a huge gut? TLC occasionally still uses the promo of him in a blue shirt looking ~8 months pregnant. It was before he began ramen noodling his hair. It may have been a sympathy pregnancy - only for Robyn would he compromise his fitness goals. I wonder what happened to his fitness goals when Janelle moved out of the rental house when it sold and he could no longer work out in her garage to Pachelbel for the camera?

I once (in my late 50s) had a weird vivid dream of being on a road trip and Doug Davidson was in the car. Everyone in the car was in their 20s (he is 2 weeks younger than me). It included people from university as well as people I knew in grade school, none ever in the same car together in real life. Then I woke up to a fall day like in my dream, the only thing the dream and reality had in common.

Janelle & Christine and all of their kids seem to have fun with each other when Kootie & Robyn aren't around.

Whenever I hear Kootie say "protoCULLS", I think HE is the one who needs to be culled! Kootie knew Christine was with Mykelti for the birth. If he believes he deserves 50:50 custody, why didn't he at least stay in contact and do his parental duties by zoom, phone or text? I wonder if his "long conversations" with Truely happened once or twice? Perhaps Christine or Truely will tell us. Tony makes chicken cordon bleu and tacos. He's weird, but so is Mykelti and their interests, sense of humour and personalities seem to click. Compared to how Kootie treated Christine, Tony is an interested and caring husband.

I also noticed that Kootie has been wearing the same plaid shirt in all of his solo talking ramen heads (in the room with a taupe wall, a potted plant and a chair. So it seems like even TLC rarely wants to visit the Browns. For a guy with a walk-in closet of shirts, why didn't he bring 3-4 on hangers like he used to do when he visited the other wives?

Considering how the market can swing quickly, as Scott McGillivray would say, if you want to make money in real estate, it is not about timing the market, but time IN the market. Though actually it is both. Having the means to hold onto a flip or renovation and rent it out until the market improves substantially helps, but many HHs are living on the edge of affordability. I always cringe when one of a couple want to spend the maximum the lender will lend to impress others.

Live Chat was lively. It probably wore chatters out.

Areolablahblahblah couldn't tolerate the temperature at Mykelti's winter wedding

Avalontoyota was born 13 months into Covid.

They weren't even that small - they were all in school (perhaps Robyn was already sleeping 'til noon back then). Perhaps Mykelti agreed to help out for a chance to see her Dad.

Janelle lost her first mother-in-law only ~3 months after her own mother, Sheryl (Kootie's step-mother and mother-in-law)

was Meri laughing at Robyn when she said she's trying to arrange to go visit Mykelti for the birth?

Saying it once I could see as intending to be helpful. The second and third time, accompanied by smug smiles, not so much - those came off as "you're getting old, girl".

Kody Brown: The Man Who Survived a KNIFE to the KIDNEYS!
deirdra replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
Didn't one of them also mention that they thought he was gay in highschool? He was probably primping all the time and developing his huge wardrobe of shirts, shoes and watches. -
If Kootie & Robyn want a big fambly Thanksgiving or Xmas, they might need to come to Utah this year 😉

When I had knee surgery to replace my ACL, I found the frozen peas worked great - 20 min on, 20 min off. The trick is to withstand the minute or two of "burn" before it goes numb. Once it is numb there is no pain at all. As I kid I always took the ice off the moment it started to hurt, but once I learned this trick I grew to appreciate the burn and blissful numbness. Instead of narcotics for pain (one dose made me extremely nausious & dizzy - not good on crutches with kitties underfoot), I just used frozen peas. I also healed and got my flexibility back 2X faster than the average patient half my age. Cold keeps the inflamation down, and the inflamation is what causes the pain. Gramto6, if your knee joint moves around a lot (side-to-side), you might ask the doctor about getting a knee brace to hold it in the correct position. That can prevent further damage & pain. I didn't wear it around the house pre-surgery unless it was bothering me, but did wear it when out and about to feel safe. -
S20.E28: Michael Moore; Jonathan Lemire; Vivek Ramaswamy
deirdra replied to tessaray's topic in Real Time With Bill Maher
But in the 1993 election the conservatives were split into two parties. The Progressive Conservatives (AKA Liberal Lites) got 2 seats, the Reform Party (further right Conservatives, the type Michael Moore seems to be concerned about) won 52 seats. -

And he repeated his same whiny little points over and over and over again as if Bill would change his mind. Bill should have cut him off and gone on to the next question after a couple of minutes max. -
Robyn of course wouldn't travel to the birth so a couple of hours standing by on Facetime wasn't too intrusive. Post-Covid I suspect she won't be there for the twins' birth either if she can think of an excuse.

Getting to Genoa You All Over Again: Y&R Daily Chat
deirdra replied to ByTor's topic in The Young And The Restless
The snippets of Y&R used in 1983 Mr. Mom were chosen as the height of sappy convoluted soapiness. Little did we know that Y&R would top that many times over the next 40 years. -
I like how Whoopi addressed the controversy by saying it was a joke. She didn't apologize for it or say she was sorry for making the joke. But people accepted her "apology". The inference still stands. It was funny and unusually subtle for Whoopi.

So Robyn had Mykelti as her first in a long line of live-in helpers when she joined the fambly because Robyn couldn't take care of her own 3 kids? I'd never known that before.

I have gel freezer packs but am also a fan of bags of frozen peas. They don't get burning cold like ice packs and mold better around knees and other parts. I put them in zip freezer bags which are more durable and leak proof and have two sets so one is ready to go after the old ones are put back in the freezer after ~20 minutes. I put a dishtowel between the bag & my skin.
