Did Mariah & Audj actually write this or is it Meri's love letter to herself?

Gone But Not Forgotten: Characters/Actors You Miss
deirdra replied to Lamplighter's topic in The Young And The Restless
Ravi, Ted and Dr. Silverhair are all missed. They made Y&R worth watching, unlike the drivel we're getting now. -
However, Janelle & Christine's sons have watched these spoiled whiney drama queens grow up and would probably run in the opposite direction. Like Logan, they are probably drawn to sensible, well-grounded women.

Robyn Brown: She wanted the family, but got stuck with the man.
deirdra replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
When God refused to give Robyn a rennel, they had to buy this mansion with odd cutouts in the wall (probably designed to fit the original owners' stereo components and other specific art pieces). When her first collections didn't fill all the nooks & crannies, she probably bought more "collectibles" to fill the spaces. Perhaps she needs a nanny so one of them can perpetually dust the dust collectors while the other wrangles the kids. Dusting was my chore as a kid and even though my mother had few tchotchkes, when I got my own places I always made sure they had doors on the kitchen and other cabinets throughout! -
One of the commenters offered their "condolences to Janelle and her kids for the loss of Sheryl and for having Kody as a husband and father".

"The Teflon Queen" is the name of the next episode. Gee, I wonder who that could be. -
No she didn't - it is on the other side because the selfie video is mirrored.

Why do they always have wrist and neck bands like pajamas or play shirts for boys in the 1960s/70s? -

Yeah, the newer ones have fewer details and louder colours. It may be an old fashioned Canadian thing to do, but my great grandmother, grandmother & mother (born from ~1860-1930) didn't have full matching place settings. Instead they had plain sets of dishes and then as wedding and birthday presents would get one or a pair of teacups with saucers. As a kid I loved to pick out a different pattern each time we had tea & they had a pair of Old Country Rose. -
I babysat in the 1960s in a home with a black sink & toilet; it was very cool along with the B&W checkered floor. Luckily it was just a powder room, but I did always have to make sure I didn't leave any TP shreds or soap scum before leaving. There is a reason white has lasted so long. Like old office furniture that was "putty" coloured instead of black or another dark colour - you could never see the dust!

I suspect he didn't call or mention it to TIIC, since he came in and tested negative twice at the studio. They would have sent him home for 5 more days rather than test him only 5 days after testing positive if they had known about it. Someone must have said something on set or on SM and RB was busted.

And include how to determine which walls are loadbearing before buying a house that will need lots of expensive beams to remove the walls you hate.

Gabe should have told Kootie that Payton is his nanny.

They do, and she seems to be more down-to-earth than the one in LV.

Kody Brown: The Man Who Survived a KNIFE to the KIDNEYS!
deirdra replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
Perhaps God is playing a trick on polygamists seeking God-hood in the afterlife and instead they are getting purgatory on Earth with a bunch of wives they don't love. -
There is no upside for me either. My old house had a piece of it as part of the counter next to the stove (you could put hot stuff on it) and the rest was laminate (which would have melted). I hated it! and never put food on it or cut anything on it and the crevice between it and the rest of the countertop collected crumbs. Now I have quartz! I suspect the HGTV folks install it when they've used up the money on everything else. But I don't like it when they talk it up about how rustic & indestructible it is. I'd live with it in a 200-yr old farmhouse where it was worn-in along with everything else. But a banged up top in a 5-yr old renovation would look ugly or stupid.

House Hunters International - General Discussion

It disappeared for a reason - it is a dust catcher! -
It is cheaper than the solid surfaces the homeowners will probably replace it with.

Sander does it too and it is annoying. My mother didn't even come in my room when I was packing for university. It gets cold in Boston in Fall, Winter & Spring; sundresses won't cut it.

Getting to Genoa You All Over Again: Y&R Daily Chat
deirdra replied to ByTor's topic in The Young And The Restless
The tribute to Michael, out of the blue, made me wonder if CLB is leaving the show. Apparently CLB's off to Broadway, if it ever reopens. Why did Paul never get a tribute? He has been on the show longer than anyone. -
Those are to remind everyone that Kootie and Robyn are King and Queen of the Brown clan and you're not!
