  1. That is hilarious & the parts she picked out are exactly the things I found most odd. I wonder what Meri fills when he touches her hand. I would expect a whole lot of nothing, but perhaps she gets hot and bothered.
  2. Rather than trying to peel the bark before it rains, try waiting until after it rains & soaks in. If you need help peeling things, Meri's an expert. (And I am sure Gabe was channeling that when he ate a banana during his sperm donor's rare visit to Janelle's house & kids.)
  3. That was cute, energetic & useful, unlike most things the Browns do. Social distancing & masks would have been appropriate due to Garrison's high exposure rate.
  4. The cabin is a "cabin", but the "camp" is the whole property, with cabin, boat dock, barbecue & outdoor eating area, horse-shoe pitch and other things for the kids and adults to do.
  5. That was a horrendous mish-mash and I am so sick of those busy floor tiles that every HGTV show seems to use in kitchens, bathrooms & on fireplaces. They are already starting to look dated, not timeless, but are too costly to replace when you get sick of them. Jeff must be sick of laying them and has a good eye for "too busy" - the "designers" should listen to him! Too bad he didn't loose-lay some of the marble hexagons in the shower, snap a pic and send it to the twins to see how hideous it looked next to the "spanish" tile before installing them. The backsplash in the kitchen was more subdued, but didn't go with that shiny black vertically elongated hexagon tile above the stove. Yes the black tile was cool, but don't put two completely different style focal points side-by-side! That is probably the first thing taught in Design 101.
  6. Gravel is the cheap way to go. Can you image dinner guests in high heels trying to walk on that without twisting an ankle? I'm sure any buyer would want a proper sidewalk in front and sod in back instead of wasting money on the putting green.
  7. She also got some me-time with Kodouche, riding in the car >7 hrs each way, kissing him on camera for Robyn & Meri to see, and at least one night in a hotel with him.
  8. I can see that having a photo for people who need to see it for closure is a thing, but the undertaker could take it. But don't send it to people unless they ask for it. And don't post it on SM.
  9. Her main problem was trying to sing in a key way too high for her voice. During practice her accompanist mentioned this and IIRC suggested & played in a better key for her, but she wouldn't listen. He was right! When singing a cappella, it is very helpful to have an instrument play the starting note.
  10. That's an odd obit. It only names dead relatives, not his wife/wives or children, those who survive him. I guess that keeps them safe from getting arrested for polygamy whenever they get stopped for driving infractions.
  11. Joy should bring a nail file and start using it when MeAgain hits the 4 minute mark of her blather.
  12. This is common with most moves to foreign countries. The only ways in which a South African passport holder can live and work freely and legally in the UK is if they qualify under the Tier 2 work permit category, have rights to apply for a UK ancestral visa through a British born grandparent, have rights to apply for settlement through a British spouse, fiancé or partner. Hubby must have skills that qualified to get a job offer that would do all the paperwork needed for him to get a Tier 2 work permit. Wifey may be able to get a job offer once she sees the lay of the land or she may have to wait until she meets the time requirement to apply for settlement to get a work permit. I qualify via the UK ancestral visa program through two British born grandparents, but live & work in Canada instead. HHI should discuss this more so people know how hard it can be financially to move to a foreign country. Getting a mortgage is also much harder to qualify for in countries outside of US/Canada. Richard Blanco is the best part of HHI in London!
  13. Ashland admitted he was testing Kyle, but never said he believed him. He'll still keep his eyes on Kyle, who foolishly thinks he escaped a bullet and will let his guard down. Ashland has probably been reading all of his wife's emails.
  14. I only watched ~5 minutes of one of her online LuLaNo sessions and she was rude to a woman who liked an item but wanted it in a L or XL. Meri only had a Medium and advised her that she'd be able to stuff herself into it or give it to a friend since it was a sale, so no returns/refunds.
  15. Didn't someone Meri knew high up in LuLaNo post a photo of a dead person in their coffin on SM a few years ago? And Meri retweeted it. That is a real NO!
  16. I see ~8 g of protein. If she aimed for 3X that at each meal, she wouldn't have problems with brittle nails & hair or carb & junk food cravings.
  17. I suspect they are trying to ward off any fileting by MyFather's daughter. They all seem to do it before MeAgain's knife comes out.
  18. The open shelvers must not cook. No matter how careful you are about always using the fan over the stove, oily particles disperse all over the kitchen, creating a sticky film over everything on the shelves. I have one glass door on a corner cabinet, with an etched pattern on it so that you cannot see through it clearly. One cabinet to keep orderly if plenty!
  19. Then Robyn says polygamist wives need to learn to just go with the flow. Though apparently not her.
  20. Retired downsizers would probably look at the photos online and decide not to waste their time looking at another cheaply done cookie-cutter flip. So they may be right, but still annoying.
  21. I agree with all of this. Brass/gold has come and gone over the years, mostly gone. I recall babysitting for several families in the 1960s & 70s when brass/gold became cool and only 2 yrs later it looked horribly dated. Same for busy multicoloured tiny mozaic (half inch squares) backsplashes. And flat-panel grainy mid-tone wooden kitchen cabinets. Trends should be used for accessories, not things that are costly to replace, like $6000 fancy stoves with bold brass knobs that match the 30+ cabinet knobs & pulls.
  22. and he said he is never cruel to people
  23. Those were words. He has been disgusted with Meri for years.
  24. There is a 4-day gap between Gabe & Gwen, both born in mid-October 2001. And then their triplet (Auroraborealis) arrived and Kootie forgot about G&G.
