  1. Another Ozzy wannabe. Does no one remember that Ozzy had no social or strategic game?? Athleticism isn't everything here.
  2. Is this going to be another shortened season?
  3. Not anyone interesting to me... https://www.imdb.com/title/tt16375772/
  4. That would make a great storyline, and give her something to do besides sit around with only a line or two.
  5. I was just thinking, Georgie should have taken over the Mary Kay business. He is a great salesman, and would be able to charm the women into buying anything.
  6. As far as I understand, an MLM legitimate business is something where an actual product is being sold; an illegal pyramid scheme is where the only thing being sold is positions in the pyramid. So Mary Kay, Amway, etc. are set up as pyramid structures, but they are legal.
  7. I don't either. There is a whole time span between Young Sheldon and BBT where something might have happened to make her that way, but for now, and for Young Sheldon, she can be different and funny.
  8. I am happy with the trend, because I find Sheldon the least interesting character on the show. He has been locked into an annoying, humorless character with no nuancing. I would much rather see stories about the family. Yes, to more Missy, too. And change the Meemaw storyline to make her just more wacky and less...whatever she is now; give her some funny adventures with Reba. Dale - out please. And Dr. Sturgis, more in.
  9. I have just started re-watching David vs Goliath. I had forgotten what a character Natalie was. Since the early votes-off have to spend so much time together, I was wondering how Natalie and Jeremy, who were both voted off early, got along once they were out of the game.
  10. Company policies aside, it is just not smart to get into a relationship like this, especially for the subordinate. What happens if/when the relationship breaks up? The subordinate is most at risk from the possible consequences.
  11. I suppose that's why they are trying to fluff it out with the relationship storyline. Sadly true... You'd think. But if they can put felons on the force they must be pretty lax about a lot of things. Which pretty much sums it all up.
  12. "Survivor 41 Finale Debate Continues With Fan-Made GoFundMe Page (Which Already Had Its Own Issues)" https://www.cinemablend.com/television/survivor-41-finale-debate-continues-with-fan-made-gofundme-page-which-already-had-its-own-issues Fans set up a GoFundMe for Xander...
  13. Thank you for that recap. It makes a bit more sense now!
  14. For those of us who don't want to sit and watch for an hour, can someone summarize this bit please? Thanks.
  15. "‘When Calls the Heart’ Season 9 Premiere Date Revealed (Exclusive)" https://www.etonline.com/when-calls-the-heart-season-9-premiere-date-revealed-exclusive-177277 "ET can exclusively reveal that season 9 of the beloved Hallmark Channel drama will premiere Sunday, March 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Plus -- there’s an extra cherry on top: once again, hearties will be treated to 12 all-new episodes."
  16. The other couples on that season were seriously dysfunctional, but the Steven/Alina relationship is downright dangerous. This crosses the line, but apparently for the show there is no line. I have not seen any other seasons of 90 Days, so I don't know if this is something new.
  17. "Steven is a predator, a pervert, and an abuser. Alina is being groomed and she's in an emotionally and mentally abusive relationship". We called this out during the season. Now we have confirmation. Scary. What's also scary is that the show is exploiting this.
  18. Good point. I know I give entirely too much thought to TV shows and sometimes take them too seriously when I really should just sit back and enjoy them for what they are. But this particular issue happens to be rather a hot button for me. I entered the business world in the 60s when sexual harassment, and even sexual assault, were just a fact of life and something women were supposed to put up with. I have watched the (very slow) progress that has been made in this area, and even witnessed it firsthand. So I do get triggered on the subject. My apologies. Carry on.
  19. I am in the middle of watching the whole series through on DVD, and one thing I keep noticing is all the ORANGE! Someone on the show apparently loved the color, and so many of the women's outfits were orange. But what really gets me is the orange lipstick the women all wear. It is hideous! How could they ever have thought that was a good idea! I suppose this was not through all the seasons, but where I am right now I see nothing but orange.
  20. No, Neville would not fire her; I was speaking in general from many women's experience. But it could make things awkward for Neville and Florence (and even the others) working together.
  21. This situation with Florence and Neville is so out of touch with today's consciousness. A woman in business, a job, or a profession should never be put in this situation where her boss expresses a romantic interest in her. Too many women have gotten fired because they turned down the boss's advances. Too many women have accepted the advances because they were afraid of being fired. If they get into a relationship with their boss, what happens if the relationship ends? It may just be working together that is uncomfortable, or she may get fired, depending on how things end. If she turns him down and they do not get into the relationship, there is this awkwardness hanging over their working relationship. And what happens with co-workers if the woman and the boss are in a relationship? How do they feel about? Do they look at her and think, she just got promoted because of the relationship, and does not really deserve it? Is she getting benefits from the relationship at the expense of the co-workers? This is just all so wrong. I expect the show would just gloss over it all and not address this, but I am really hoping they do not go there, and keep focusing on the murder stories and let Neville find someone else to romance. Maybe a murder suspect? That could be a possible storyline.
  22. Thank you, Gillian. Now we have to wait until next season. :(
  23. Thank you. So they are still going to continue to drag it out. :( I hope she lets him down easily, and they don't go there after all.
  24. PBS did not air the show in my area, so I haven't seen it. Would someone be willing to summarize what happened with Florence/Neville? I have been hoping that they would not go ahead with this, so I am interested in whatever was shown in this special. Thanks.
