  1. Some great suggestions! Going to lock the topic for now while we put together the list for the poll.
  2. Once again we find ourselves brainstorming for a new topic title. Please remember in your suggestions that this title will carry through marriage and children. (So, no, there will not be new titles should any of the couples have more children.) It should be all encompassing. We'll go through on Monday and pick out some and put up a poll. Our choices are not scientific or logical but what we think would work best. And with that done, have at it.
  3. This is spoiler free episode topic, discuss only the episode, not further on, current day performances or social media. BE CIVIL DO NO DISCUSS EACH OTHER, TELL OTHERS HOW TO POST/FEEL/THINK. Posters are allowed to post whatever they feel as long as it does not violate the posting guidelines. If you see a problematic post, report, do not engage
  4. The returning vets go to the Bahamas to compete to be the calendar cover girl; Training Camp begins for all.
  5. Folks, several posts have been removed for being uncivil. If you see a post that you feel is against the guidelines of the site, ignore it and report it. Otherwise you may also receive a warning for being uncivil. If the post is just gross, ignore it and don't engage with the poster. Use the Ignore Feature. But derailing the topic to snipe with each other is only going to end up with post removal, warnings or worse.
  6. The Erica/lawsuit discussion has not only been done to death, it does not belong in this topic. This is the Training Camp topic and she's not in Training Camp. Should this note be ignored and there is a post about Erica and her lawsuit, it will be disappeared.
  7. I just copied the info from the onscreen description before going to bed. I'll investigate, but TLC is the worst about this. The onscreen description is different than the online guide is different than tv.com. They just cannot get their act together and it is beyond frustrating.
  8. Jinger and Jeremy celebrate their first anniversary, and Jeremy has a very special surprise for her; Josiah is ready to take the next step and seeks the blessing of Lauren's dad; Joe and Kendra reveal the gender of their baby in a very explosive way.
  9. This is the episode topic, not the former cheerleaders topic. Please move back to discussing what the episode, please. Cersten's situation has been discussed ad nauseum and can be retired for quite a bit of time, now. Thank you.
  10. Please remember - spoilers from training camp and social media do not belong in episode topics. Discuss the events of the episode ONLY. See this Spoiler Policy
  11. 125 ladies try to conquer a DCC dance routine and the kickline to advance to Finals.
  12. Folks, this is the episode topic and while a little bit of talk about past dancers and dancing technique is to be expected, it's starting to get past the tangent part and into the off topic part. Let's refocus back to the episode, please.
  13. Discussing SWAN is not an invitation to directly discuss politics. Please keep it to the episode.
  14. I had to watch to see what it was. And all I could think of were the different ways to hold a crochet hook--the knife style or the pencil style. She looks like she's using the pencil hold. I use the knife hold to crochet. And when I use a knife, too
  15. Joy and Austin check in on baby Forsyth at their midwife appointment; Jinger and Jeremy window-shop for a new piano; Joe and Kendra move into their new home and have a special reveal for the family.
  16. The posting guidelines still apply, even if you don't like what a poster is saying. Most specifically: If you don't like it, but isn't breaking any rules, ignore it. Use the Ignore Function. There is a pinned note above every reply box. It says final reminder. So, this reposting of the bare minimum posting guidelines shouldn't be needed. Here they are again:
  17. As the new season is starting today, this current squad is no longer. A new current squad topic will be created at the end of the season.
  18. You would think! But no, this is how it was labeled by TLC. They are the worst. They've changed the season and episode numbering at least twice on me, and I have had to go back re-number each time. If they do it again, I may not care enough to fix it.
  19. Topic, please. There's been a lot of off topic discussion in the threads lately, taking something as a springboard to jump on a soap box. Keep it to Counting On folks, please.
  20. Folks, a topic for the episode airing tonight (30 Jul 2018) has been posted. I used the onscreen guide from DirecTV because the online list of episodes is not what is listed on my tv. (TLC really is just the worst) Of course, if you don't see an episode topic, starting one is fine, but please be aware that we no longer have the episode format check box, so the season and episode number have to be entered manually. Also, we are no longer adding the air date to the topic title. That would be why I didn't put put the date.
  21. In this first look at Josiah and Lauren's wedding, the bride and groom say their I do's and have their first kiss, then wind back six months earlier to the beginning of their courtship; Joe and Kendra go on their honeymoon in Greece. Formerly known as: S07.E09: First Comes A Wedding, Then Comes A Honeymoon
  22. I have had season passes to Six Flags for several years and on certain rides people with flip flops (or unsecure sandal type shoes) will ride barefoot. If there is a way the shoe could fall off, it's better to keep the flip flops at the platform rather than having them fall where they can't be recovered. Having said that, it always skeeves me out when I see folks barefoot getting on the ride. Ew.
