I'm sorry...is it just me or is the Holiday Baking Championship on FN Network bleeding over into TWD?

I generally like Riker, but as I recall at the time the show was airing the general consensus was his character was kind of boring. He was the "fun" one of the crew, which was interesting because as XO it was his job to be the asshole that keeps the crew in line. One thing he was not good at were the overly dramatic moments. I still remember how dreadful he was in "Interface" when tells Geordi the story of losing his mother. But hands down, nothing beats his performance in "Hide and Q". Many a first season episode makes me cringe nowadays, but that one's up there. As to the cuts, I saw "The Loss" and the entire final scene where Riker and Troi talk was cut. It is annoying when scenes you so clearly remember are completely cut from the show.

Yeah, WTF up with the crafts? A clothespin wreath? At least bring in Aunt Sandy and her tablescapes. She's more fun to snark on that Marcella and they have some tangential relationship to food. I had a bad case of second-hand embarrassment for the hosts--except for GZ. I don't care him for him so I love seeing him squirm. But his thinly-veiled contempt for the whole thing did give me a chuckle. He just gets to where he can hide is disdain for Jeff and they start throwing crafts at him.

It's not that uncommon. They even have a name for it....narcissism.

I don't think TAHITI was on the SHIELD servers. I think there was a scene where FitzSimmons search the servers and figure out a bunch of data was deleted and somehow that leads them to the base.

Is that voice really a put on? I swear I thought she had some kind of neurological disorder. She sounds a lot like someone fighting to cover/stop a stutter or Turrets. I can't believe anyone would do that on purpose.

FWIW, the card in front of the stone calls it the Maximillian Emerald. I'm guessing Cold is going off mission and trying to steal it.

I find both Fabio and Rocco intolerable and Duff somewhat tolerable. So of course Claire goes out first. Not even sure why she was on. 5 Ingredient fix hasn't been in production for years...can't believe they mentioned it. This is definitely shaping up to be a battle of the dbags. I see the last round has Alex G, Sherry Yard, Marcel and Bobby Deen. I'm guessing Marcel is going to the winner.

I'm guessing Colson and Fitz go through the portal. Either Hyrda is closing in on them and it's their only way to escape being killed or the go through purposely to save Will and Andrew (the logo on Andrew's holding cell seemed to indicated he was going to be sent through).

It become like a soap opera. I mean seriously, on those Halloween last for three weeks and the next day is Thanksgiving.

Since the two groups are making peace, I imagine we'll have a 'getting to know your neighbor' session where things like "Heads up, I pass out at the sight of blood", "Heads up, I have apnea so if you hear anything from my house I haven't turned" and "Heads up, we'd be glad to administer a mercy kill" will be shared.

SHIELD didnt figure out anything new. They only knew sound frequencies opened the portal because they found the setup in the castle, so the mysterious group has known how to open the portal for a century at least. All Fitz did was tie a rope around himself, go through and let the gang pull him back. Does Powers Booth really need them explain that to him? His group already figured out the hard part.
